Atari is a modern and outstanding hotel in the heart of the “casco viejo” (old town). Rooms are perfect. Highly designed. The location is very convenient for everything. Staff very kind and able to speak many languages. On the sixth floor there is a terrace with tables and chairs where you can bring an aperitif or dinner. On the ground floor the hotel has a high level connected restaurant. The exceptional things about this hotel are four. Really beautiful and very comfortable rooms. An exceptional breakfast. The location in the heart of the historic center. The soundproofing of the rooms. When you open the window in the summer, it feels like you are in a disco from the noise. When you close it, total silence.

Nice hotel an easy walk from anywhere in the historic district and close to all car parks; room was very clean, staff friendly and polite, and breakfast package well worth it with cook to order as well as buffet. Their adjacent tapas/restaurant place also quite good.

A great small hotel in the middle of the old town but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The bar downstairs does amazing Tapas the best we had in Spain and the adjacent Church turns off its bells at 10pm and doesn’t restart until 8am

No hay estacionamiento, si tienes coche mejopr busca otro hotel, es muy inconveniente llegar en auto, y los estacionamientos en San sebastian son un desastre en general. El hotel esta bien ubicado, limpio en general, los cuertos son buenos apenas, no tienen demasiado detalle ni servicio.

Hotelazo en pleno centro de San Sebastián, justo delante de la basilica de la virgen del coro. Habitaciones muy bien insonorizadas y con estilo. La terraza en la azotea es genial para tomar un vino. El desayuno me ha encantado, con bufet libre y opcion de prinero y seguno hechos al momento.

Modern, clean, beautiful hotel in the old town. Great, friendly and helpful staff at the restaurant too. Wonderful breakfast setup. Be aware, no access by car so park at one of the recommended underground garages and roll yourselves over. Takes about 7 minutes.

The hotel was very clean in all public and personal areas. My only slight comment would be that Another chair in the bedroom would have been useful as sitting on the bed was the only other option

Un colchón tan incómodo que tuvimos que dejar la habitación después de la primera noche. Era imposible dormir. Por otra parte la ducha desprendía mucho olor a cañería. Había mucha humedad en la habitación. Insonorización de la habitación buena. Desayuno bueno. Al hacer el check out el personal nos indicó que teníamos reserva para una noche más. Les indicamos que no nos habíamos sentido bien y nos dijeron que si teníamos algún comentario les enviáramos un email. Poco interés por la razón de nuestra salida. El personal de recepción en general da una impresión de desinterés y poca experiencia. Siempre había dos personas pero más bien ocupados con el teléfono móvil.

It is hard to find a hotel with a more perfect location than Atari, right in the middle of old town. Couple this with the double paned windows that keep it quiet even when the streets are active below, and what else do you need? The breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts we have ever had, and the staff was super friendly. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom very nice and updated as well. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, a perfect place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the action in old town.

Loved the area, the balcony view, the breakfast was excellent, wonderful staff, the only complaint I have is the bathroom stunk of raw sewage from time to time. Thinking the sewage system was backing up for some reason. Perhaps due to the excessive recent rain falls. Otherwise it’s a perfect place to stay in the old town for Pintxos crawls. It was off season and quiet but I suspect in the summer it’s quite loud especially on weekends

Hotel in a fabulous location for old town. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast options were very good. Slightly disappointed with the room as the terrace advertised at time of booking had been turned into an area for the whole hotel to use so privacy wasn’t great & had been the main reason for booking.

Great location in the heart of San Sebastián’s old town. Walking distance to everything. Hotel is trendy and modern. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. Air conditioning very effective. If not European, keep in mind there are no USB outlets in the rooms so you might need multiple converters or one that has a USB port on it.

Small room, decorated in dark colors which seemed to be the theme throughout the hotel, giving it a somewhat opppresive atmosphere. Very limited communal lounge/bar. Lacking in decent storage, bedside tables hardly big enough for a book and a glass of water. Bathroom/ shower room painted black throughout including floor and fittings. Small shelf around basin, very little room to stand toiletries etc. Limited hooks, wardrobe small and incorporating coffee making machine, safe and small fridge. Floor black painted concrete, cracked and scuffed. Only plus was comfortable bed, linens and towels changed every day which seemed excessive and not environmentally friendly. Breakfast disappointing, more Patxos, little choice. Location very central in the Old Town, crowded bars etc., most nights, easy to walk around the city and port.

Staff were great, room was very nice looking and we had a terrific balcony. What we had not considered was the church bell ringing very loudly EVERY 15 minutes. Our room was on the 6th floor and almost at the height of the bells. Interesting to start with, beyond annoying after the first day.

The hotel is very cute and pretty. The staff was extremely helpful. They helped us booked a reservation at one of the nearby restaurants. The location is amazing as you are steps away from all the bars and pintxo places. There is a church right across the street. Our room opened to the view of the church. The church bells do ring every 15 minutes, but only starts at 8am to 11pm (or around then). The closed windows will still let the church bell sounds in, but it does do a good job blocking out all the crowd noises. My wife and I absolutely loved this hotel and San Sebastian in general!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Atari. The food around you is obviously to die for and the hotel food was just as good. Really amazing breakfast. It’s close to everything that would you need, food, drinks, clothes, shoes. Great views of the church nearby. The beach is a 10 min walk and the port is even less at about 5 mins away. And even then you’ll wind up wanting to stop at multiple shops along the way so it feels even closer. The room was absolutely adorable if a little small but we didn’t spend much time in it anyway, the city is so so fun.

Hotel Atari is a small hotel in the busiest part of town. They did a great job at soundproofing, the windows were 2” thick. Although small, the location and walkability was great. The staff were very helpful with suggestions and reservations, and the included breakfast was marvelous. Best free hotel breakfast I have ever had! I only give it 4 out of 5 stars because for the price it felt a bit cramped, but I understand you are paying for location.

Chambre spacieuse, propre et bien insonorisé au 5 ème étage. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Le gros plus est l'emplacement au coeur de la vieille ville. Seul petit bémol le personnel de l'accueil pas toujours très accueillant ( c'est pourtant leur rôle....).

BEWARE! Accidentally booked the Superior Double room for 1 person, but it was 2 of us in the room. Was informed at the time of check-in that the additional person would be a EUR140 charge!!! This is because breakfast is mandatory and in order to stay at the hotel we MUST eat their breakfast. If I had booked for 2 instead of 1 person at the time of booking, it would not have been an additional EUR140. Breakfast should be optional and additional 140 Euro charge for a simple breakfast buffet is extortionate. BEWARE! Accidentally booked the Superior Double room for 1 person, but it was 2 of us in the room. Was informed at the time of check-in that the additional person would be a EUR140 charge!!! This is because breakfast is mandatory and in order to stay at the hotel we MUST eat their breakfast. If I had booked for 2 instead of 1 person at the time of booking, it would not have been an additional EUR140. Breakfast should be optional and additional 140 Euro charge for a simple breakfast buffet is extortionate. The hotel is brilliantly situated in the old town, vibrant and lively. The staff were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable about the area and happy to share their experiences and top tips, including bus services and short cuts. Breakfast is included and the basque cheese cakes on offer were the best we tasted (and we tried a lot!). Can’t recommend this hotel more highly!

Maybe the most convenient location in San Sebastian. It was so nice to be able to walk to any of our favorite pintxo bars in under five minutes. Also, if we wanted to take a break during the day, we were always within walking distance to the hotel. The staff was excellent, friendly, and very helpful with any questions we had. I will definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Atari. The food around you is obviously to die for and the hotel food was just as good. Really amazing breakfast. It’s close to everything that would you need, food, drinks, clothes, shoes. Great views of the church nearby. The beach is a 10 min walk and the port is even less at about 5 mins away. And even then you’ll wind up wanting to stop at multiple shops along the way so it feels even closer. The room was absolutely adorable if a little small but we didn’t spend much time in it anyway, the city is so so fun.

It is hard to find a hotel with a more perfect location than Atari, right in the middle of old town. Couple this with the double paned windows that keep it quiet even when the streets are active below, and what else do you need? The breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts we have ever had, and the staff was super friendly. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom very nice and updated as well. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, a perfect place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the action in old town.

The property is in a fantastic location in the centre of the old town. Great for walking to restaurants and also walking and hiking trails along sea wall. Taxis are able to access very close to the hotel so convenient in that respect as well.

Excellent breakfast with a very good location! It is a bit hard to get a taxi in the city and especially close to the hotel-but if you are able to walk it is really not a problem. The church next to the hotel likes to ring the bell- starts at 08.00 every morning but we would go back anytime!

Modern, clean, beautiful hotel in the old town. Great, friendly and helpful staff at the restaurant too. Wonderful breakfast setup. Be aware, no access by car so park at one of the recommended underground garages and roll yourselves over. Takes about 7 minutes.

Nice hotel an easy walk from anywhere in the historic district and close to all car parks; room was very clean, staff friendly and polite, and breakfast package well worth it with cook to order as well as buffet. Their adjacent tapas/restaurant place also quite good.

Excellent location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine but not to our liking. Room was clean and good size. Hotel lobby and corridor had a bit of a foul smell all the time though. Overall happy with the stay

Location was great, but the amenities were lacking. There was no shampoo or condition provided at the hotel, and at one point they even ran out of body soap and they weren’t sure when they’d be able to get any back. They did and up getting it in time. I also stubbed my toe and asked for a bandaid or tissue as the front desk, and also no help. Lastly, our shower leaked heavily into the bathroom every time we showered. The rooms themselves were nice and clean.

This was a fantastic spot for our couple of days in San Sebastian. The room was wonderful as was the hotel. One thing to note is that there is no shampoo or conditioner so make sure to bring your own. Otherwise, 5 stars!
