Excellent customer service from new owners. They were super friendly, approachable & very accommodating. After having stayed there x1, I was more than happy to stay there again on my return to Maryborough a few days later. The laundry especially needs work but in the meantime the free use of the washer & dryer certainly makes up for it. All in all, both my stays were a very comftable & pleasant experience.

The staff member at the front counter was so friendly and welcoming. Another staff member seen my 2 children swimming in the pool so brought pool towels for us without asking, all the staff we encountered were super friendly. The room was super clean! The building itself are a little older but the friendly staff and how clean it was definitely made up for that.

It’s a normal motel. Room was large and clean. Had an old microwave and crockery which was nice. The rooms out the back are fine, but not renovated. I had issues connecting to the wifi. Managers tried their best to have it fixed but it didn’t work my whole stay. Pool is pretty average. Expensive breakfast available on site. The best thing about this place is the excellent customer service. The owner/managers went above and beyond and I felt very welcomed.

Family loft - pool view. Excellent layout for a family - the mezzanine loft was a huge hit with the kids. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Pool towels were provided in addition to bath towels which was a bonus. Pool was a bit lacklustre but that didn’t put the kids off too much. Overall the place is a little tired and dated, but was clean and beds were very comfortable. Personally I believe a family room should have a proper sink and more of a mini-kitchenette to make it more functional when traveling with kids, had the on-site restaurant not been closed for the Christmas season we may not have worried about the lack of a kitchenette though - unlucky timing.

Clearly an older motel, but room clean and spacious with comfy beds. However, the upper area (with the majority of beds) was extremely hot. Aircon upstairs old and didn’t seem to work properly, and either the roof was poorly insulated or it was just too big an area for the size of the other aircon to do the job. Too hot to sleep :( Also noting no lock on bathroom, and no plug for basin to be able to wash dishes used (sorry!).

We stayed twice. Dates 4th to the 6th January then 15th to 17th January due to a major scouting event happening in Maryborough. The first room 31 we stayed at had 2 air conditioners in 2 rooms. Kept the rooms cool at all times. It was great with lots of room to move around. Very comfortable. The second room 22 was meant to be an upgrade. It was in the sense of the loft but not great to stay cool. There was 1 little air conditioner to cool a large space that was not working. The other much much older air conditioner did not work at all. We sweat through a 38 degree day with what seemed no air conditioning. This needs to be fixed if the price is different due to the loft. The other, was having to fight over a car space due to the room location. It all worked out though. Apart from this, everything else was great. Breakfast was brought to our room with a smile and great service.

Can’t speak highly enough about the wonderful couple that run this motel. They went above and beyond for us, including changing rooms when mum couldn’t get up the stairs to the one i booked and bringing in a shower chair to make the stay as easy as possible. Rooms were beautiful and clean, food was great and service above 5 star. I would highly recommend.

Short only overnight stay. Motel was easy to find but difficult to enter coming in from the south side as road was narrow and busy - turning right across traffic into the property was difficult. Maybe owners should advertise best to enter from the north. Room was clean and comfortable. Bedding okay but single nneded new mattress. Checkin was easy and staff were welcoming.

It had everything we needed: some dishes, a microwave, fridge, cleaning products including personal, ironing board and iron, television, internet, pool, parking, wardrobe, seating, comfortable bed, tastefully presented. As wholefood vegans, we carry our food with us but for those relying on being able to buy meals, the restaurant here is not open on weekends though there are nearby hotels.
