Newer building, walking distance to restaurants and shops, very clean and modern. If you want to try their breakfast buffet or go for a swim you need to go to the hotel across from them, not practical when you travel with kids.

The hotel was clean and quiet. It was within walking distance to most things in downtown Banff. The only issue was that the advertised pool, gym, bar and restaurants were all in the hotel across the street. It was nice having access to these amenities but inconvenient to have to put on your coat and boots to cross the street to use the pool/ gym.

This looks like one of the newer properties in the town of Banff. It is immaculately designed and was a wonderful place to stay. One thing I didn't like were that this seemed to be one of the only hotels that charged for parking. Every other hotel had free parking, and they didn't tell us we had to pay for parking till the day before check-in. Also, there didn't seem to be enough parking spaces. If you arrive too late at night, it's hard to find a spot in the garage because the spaces are so small. Another thing that wasn't great was there was no hot water in the showers. There was warm water, but it didn't get warm enough to feel good after a day out in the cold. Something else to be aware of is that there is no pool located in this facility. You have to walk outside and across the street to access the neighboring hotel's amenities. Overall, this was a super cute hotel and I enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Peaks Hotel. Room was very modern and spacious, with 2 double beds, and made the most of the space through being well designed, with ample storage. Hot drinks available in a room near reception. Swimming pool at the hotel across the road was just about big enough for some lengths but very easy to use. Very well located in the centre of Banff with lots of good restaurant options within fairly short walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

The overall experience was good. The room was clean and new. The parking fee seems excessive since there isnt really an option except to park under the hotel and you have to pay $18/night. Additionally, we went to the pool and it is across the street. It was super busy and it was very loud even during "quiet time." The change room area was extremely small and i was not going to walk across the road in the cold in my bathing suit. Different story if you were staying in the host hotel.

All was great, as usually but this comment is based on the lack of a fitness facility. We had access to a partner facility to work out but that was really small and not taken care of. We really need to do better to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle and options to achieve that.

Very nice hotel, good location, close to shops/restaurants, however, cleaning needs to be thorough, crisps and nuts found under sofa in junior suite we had upgraded to. The bathroom does not need 2 entrances as this restricts amount of room that could have been utilised. Also booked a standard room with 2 queen beds with no issues.

I was very excited about this new hotel after reading a lot of positive reviews, but it was just old building that had some face lift. The hotel had mold due smell on the hallway but lobby area is okay because of diffusers. I had a standard room with two queen beds and i couldn’t even open the blinds b/c it’s facing on the road where people can see you from outside. I was told that all of the same room type are on the first floor so, be aware that you might have a same problem.

Excellent location. Easy to access by car with covered parking. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops in downtown Banff. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

So far the best hotel of our trip and this was the third hotel we stayed in. Super clean, modern and comfortable. Best staff! Let us check in early and was so kind and friendly throughout the whole stay. Loved the room and the built in couch. Loved the tea and coffee in room and the lobby. Everything was perfect and made our stay memorable. So many eateries around. Discovery tours pick up from the hotel. Beds so comfortable. Bathroom so clean and modern. Great shower and water pressure. Really #1hotel in all of Banff for a reason. Will definitely stay here again in the future if i am ever in Banff. If i were to be super picky, the only thing would be if they had a taller side table in the room/desk for writing or doing work and more than one washer/dryer for guests to use. Nothing else to improve on. Thank you Peaks!

Great location! Hard mattress and strange bathroom. The tap for the sink hits the mirror when you turn it on and the shower is hard to turn on. I was told that I should have scanned the key card to read about the shower, or called for help, but when you are ready to shower you make the best of it and that meant using the hand held only. We twisted, pushed, pulled and never did get the overhead shower on.

I faced the alley and there were garbage trucks every morning ant 7am and every evening there were people screaming and yelling outside my room quite late at night. Not a great sleep either night. The room was nice and very clean.

Peaks is a relatively new property in Banff and I had a good stay - mostly because of the amazing housekeeping staff. They cleaned my room every day for a 4-night stay which is unheard of in 2025. The property is also within a short walk to most of Banff’s best restaurants and transit options. Where my experience fell flat was with the overall maintenance of the facility. Peeling caulking and trim in the bathroom, and a draft from the balcony door that left the HVAC running constantly were detractors - and surprising in such a new building. Furthermore, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend Peaks to business travellers as the rooms don’t come equipped with a desk. 5 stars to the people running it, 3 to the place.

We booked through Expedia. A room with street side view. When we got there they had us looking at the back alley. Then when I inquired they said the street side was an upgrade. It was not, according to Expedia. Very disappointed on how this was handled. We also had to ask for the bottle of wine that was supposed to come with the room. In the future I will not trust this property.

Great hotel close to all the action! The hotel seems new, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Lalani and her front desk team were exceptional, going out of their way to answer questions and make suggestions with a friendly smile. Their entire staff is great, this includes the cleaning crew who is on top of everything; even a “good morning” greeting when you cross in the elevator. Location is a short walk from everything – restaurants, gift shops, gas station, store and shuttle buses. Parking is simple and easy. A nice lounge area with hot coffee and chocolate. They have a sister hotel across the street with a pool and restaurant. I need to extend a BIG thank you to Lalani who assisted with an issue unrelated to the hotel and was sure to follow up after our stay to be sure it was resolved. The Peaks are lucky to have Lalani!!

The hotel itself was fine. Didn’t seem to be any facilities in the hotel but there was use of pool and (cardio only) gym in another hotel The terrible though was the staff. We paid for a room with a Mountain View but we were downgraded to a room with a view of the street. We are hotels.com gold members so it’s …. unusual…. to get a downgrade rather than an upgrade. On checkin we were told there were no upgrade rooms available. Funnily when we politely asked to be moved to the room we paid for, they showed us upgrade rooms but wanted to charge 100 dollars The staff were generally unfriendly, unhelpful and some times down right rude. We did get a good laugh though when we realized between the Australian staff and room downgrade, that we were in the plot of white lotus season 1

We paid for a room with a Mountain View but we were downgraded to a room with a view of the street. We are hotels.com gold members so it’s …. unusual…. to get a downgrade rather than an upgrade. On checkin we were told there were no upgrade rooms available. Funnily when we politely asked to be moved to the room we paid for, they showed us upgrade rooms but wanted to charge 100 dollars The staff were generally unfriendly, unhelpful and some times down right rude. We did get a good laugh though when we realized between the Australian staff and room downgrade, that we were in the plot of white lotus season 1

This hotel is new and is in fantastic condition with contemporary decor, well-designed rooms and welcoming communal areas. Add to that the above-and-beyond service from the front desk staff (Jennifer knew my name when I walked in the door!) who also checked us in early and put our bags in the room (Melanie, Dan and Susanna also deserve a mention) - and you have an excellent stay. Would return again and again.

The hotel was clean and quiet. It was within walking distance to most things in downtown Banff. The only issue was that the advertised pool, gym, bar and restaurants were all in the hotel across the street. It was nice having access to these amenities but inconvenient to have to put on your coat and boots to cross the street to use the pool/ gym.

I like the fact that it’s new. Ive been into different hotels in banff and this one is by far the best. Distance from town isnt too bad. The only thing was breakfast was held across at banff park Lodge hotel and samw with the pool,

Lovely clean room, however I had to change rooms initially as the first one was located over the restaurant rear area where staff hang out and was noisy. Also for the price, there is no room service or any way to order food or drinks to the room apart from uber eats. No real lobby or hangout area. The pool is nice and very well kept. However, There isn't even a vending machine for soft drinks. For the price you'd expect to have these little extras considering places in the same area accomodate these things. Loved the room, lovely staff, but for the price lacking some facilities. Also charged for late checkout, the only place ived stayed on Thai whole trip through Canada that has charged me, and at almost $1000 a night you'd expect that for free if they didn't need to get the room turned around quickly.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Peaks Hotel. Room was very modern and spacious, with 2 double beds, and made the most of the space through being well designed, with ample storage. Hot drinks available in a room near reception. Swimming pool at the hotel across the road was just about big enough for some lengths but very easy to use. Very well located in the centre of Banff with lots of good restaurant options within fairly short walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Booked Banff on whim coming from a visit with our parents in Saskatchewan, My Wife and I were pleastanly surprised with Peak . We’ve stayed in Banff at various hotels over the last 20 years skiing and spring / summer vacations and Peak has to be one of the nicest ! Had room service breakfast one morning and was delicious. Very very clean room , cozy and the shower in the bathroom was awesome . We will definitely stay again in the future ( already planning a spring ski trip in April ! ) 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice hotel, and the staff was excellent. No free parking, no restaurant, and lack of space in the room to place suitcases and clothing were negatives. There is a restaurant across the street which you have access to. Not always convenient to walk across the street the the temp is 0 Fahrenheit. Also, the breakfast that was served at Crave, was below average. Plenty of other options within close walking distance.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel and amenities were renovated and look almost brand new. It’s very well-located. The studio was perfect for two separate sleeping areas (room upstairs and sofa bed on main floor)
