A wonderful experience! I was kindly greeted upon arrival by the valet-he was so kind and brought my bags to my room. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, decor and style of not only my room, but the entire hotel, courtyard and adjacent bar and restaurant. Beautiful toiletries for use in the bathroom. The balcony was charming with French doors. My car was waiting for me upon checkout (I didn’t even need to ask for it to be brought around). Overall I was thrilled with my choice of hotel and I will be staying again. I also recommended to my parents for their next trip to Charleston as well. 5 stars!

We are very happy with the hotel. Parking is either expensive or a short distance away from the hotel, but not really an issue. Rooms are very nice, spacious and fully equipped including kitchen and washer dryer. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which is huge.

The Pinch Hotel is exactly as it appears in photos ... simple chic with added touches for comfort. Loved all the amenties - killer mini bar, hamper, washing machine, live plants, remote control shades, outdoor fireplace, welcome cocktail, and more. Cool spot that will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to explore the city. Complimentary continental breakfast was an added bonus!

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable …it was easy to relax and enjoy our vacation. The only negative was that the windows were not as soundproof, and noisy cars and people outside were audible at night. Overall a wonderful stay though; we’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. You can definitely tell that a lot of thought was put into the design of the hotel. Fantastic location, can get a bit loud in the morning as it is on king st, but worth it :)

It was a wonderful stay! The clean and lovely room had a well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. The coffee beans tasted mild and sweet; it's different from the breakfast coffee they offered. I hardly heard my neighbors talking, but the hallway was filled with the sound of door closures. The soft bed and pillows were too soft for me, but others might find them cozy. The friendly and helpful staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and departure. The hotel’s communication was smooth, with professional and responsive staff via email and SMS. Kelly, in particular, was a pleasure to work with and left a lasting impression with her attentiveness and efficiency. The housekeeping service was great overall, handling all the regular tasks efficiently, which I really appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel offered turndown service. The only thing I noticed was that the hotel-provided drinkware and slippers were moved, even though I had marked them with personal items, causing a bit of a mix-up between my stuff and my travel partner’s. Otherwise, everything was great! For breakfast, the menu was simple but satisfying. The last night during my stay, I dined at the hotel’s restaurant, Lowland. The dishes were delicious and the service was excellent. The Pinch is absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect - close to the shops and great restaurants, yet on a very quiet street. The staff were lovely and attentive. The lobby is beautiful, and the room certainly did not disappoint. It was helpful to have a kitchenette with plenty of counter space. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and just really nice. The decor was simply stunning. It was also handy to have a washer and dryer. The little chocolate on arrival was a pleasant surprise, and the pastries at breakfast were delicious. I could not recommend The Pinch highly enough if you are in Charleston! Also, why we did not dine at the restaurant, it did look fantastic.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Having the little kitchen in the room was a big add, even though I never had a chance to actually cook. It just made everything feel more cozy and easy to relax into. The staff was a huge help to me with planning the trip and with advice once I got there.

We loved our dinner next door and the room was beautiful, albeit no view or balcony. The only real negative feedback we have was that, despite the noise machine they provide for you, we did not sleep at all. The traffic noise was horrible all night and there was screaming, loud motorcycles, and loud traffic noise coming at all hours of the night. Perhaps Friday night on and around King Street is too rowdy but we never had this problem at other hotels on the same road. We could hear EVERYTHING and was jolted out of bed multiple times with loud banging and motorcycles/motorbikes. Perhaps better insulted windows would solve this problem.

If I could give the Pinch 6 stars I would. We visited Charleston for my wife’s birthday as a surprise. I contacted the staff at Pinch and made several requests for items to be placed in the room to surprise her. Never once did they say no AND they put a surprise in the room as well. The interaction with the staff was like talking to people you have known your whole life. We have plans to visit Charleston on the future, and we will not stay anywhere else. To the staff, thank you so much for making my wife’s 50th birthday a weekend she will never forget!

This is a great hotel. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was the nicest suite we’d ever been in. The room was huge and very well appointed. Whenever we are back in Charleston, this is where we are staying. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

The Pinch was the perfect choice for our short weekend getaway. Everything was spot on great except due to the great location it can be noisy throughout the night. It is just off King Street and near the Charleston College. Everything else was exactly as advertised: very clean rooms, helpful and courteous staff, ideal location for eating and shopping, walkable to almost everything Charleston has to offer.

First time staying at The Pinch and I was blown away! We stayed in the 2-bedroom suite and couldn’t have been more impressed. Every room/bathroom was spacious and luxuriously appointed. Beyond comfortable. About a 5-15 minute walk to all the sights you’d wanna see!
