Fint hotell og godt rom for prisen. Dermed var det flere ting jeg ikke var helt fornøyd med. En speillampe på badet var gåen. Det var kun kaldt vann i dysjen i 12-tida på natta. Våknet godt da for å si det sånn.. Trimrommet var svært kaldt. Varmeovnen manglet bryter for å skrues på. Ellers var frukosten god. Godt/ok opphold overall.

Website states free parking. Read a little further it says they have 30 parking places. FALSE. They have 28 as 29 and 30 are reserved/private. Many cars had no parking permit as required by the hotel. I addressed this with the reception and was told there was nothing they could do and was told i had to pay for parking in the airport lot at 200+kroner per day. The ladies in the reception were not helpful and not very polite about the situation. Lesson learned. Stay at Scandic or Thon Hotel just down the road. No parking problems whatsoever there.

The hotel is ideally located when you have an early flight the next morning. The room was a good size, clean, bed was comfy but a little on the soft side per my preference. Restaurant food was delicious, staff at restaurant was extremely nice. Staff at hotel reception was often not at desk, and not very helpful with the free parking - we could not find space and she had a hard time advising us where else we could go.

Clarion Airport Hotel Bergen is a modern, clean, comfortable hotel with helpful staff and an excellent breakfast, of the kind that means you don't need to eat any more food until evening time. The only negative for me was the lack of tea- and coffee making facilities in my room, which was a standard room. These are available in superior rooms but not standard rooms. I'm sure it will have said this on the room specifications in my booking, but I would not have checked this because I thought this was a universal facility in modern hotels.

Liked: beautiful, comfortable, clean hotel that offers early cold breakfast for people with early flights. Disliked: on hot, cold or rainy days a hotel shuttle would be appreciated. It is a bit of a hike to the terminal.

Very convenient for the airport, 5 to 10 mins walk. Breakfast was very good. No tea or coffee in room but free tea and coffee in the lobby that you can take to the room. Would book again.

Only down side was the lack of air conditioning. While this is typical in this region, it was unusually warm and the VAV (Variable Air Valve) only raises or lowers the temperature by 2 degrees. After contacting the front desk about this, they said I could come get a fan.

My room was very clean and the bath was well equipped with soap, shampoo and lotion. The hotel was very nice. The staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious … more vegan lotions would have been nice. Olaf in the restaurant/bar was very friendly, patient and offered terrific service.

Average quality hotel, location really good if you need to catch a flight with easy access. Hotel itself is tidy and nice looking but atleast our room could need a little touch-up; There was stains and scratches from luggages(?) on the wall and some brown dirt at the showehead. Bed was too soft for our taste. Anyway could sleep here again if we're having another early morning flight, price was reasonable for this experience!

Breakfast buffet is great. Very fresh and has a great variety of food. By far this is the best complimentary buffet breakfast; it even is better than some paid-for buffets. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This hotel is right next to the airport so early flights are no problem. There is a train to downtown that runs about every 10 minutes which is so convenient. It stops at the Lagunen mall if you want to go shopping. I would come to Bergen again just so I could have an excuse to stay at this hotel!

The bathroom in the suite was walled in by glass. Yes, glass. Most of it was frosted, so you could only see your room-mates shape, but the perimeter of every glass panel was clear, so there was truly NO privacy, not in the shower, nor on the toilet. Travelling with a cousin and my daughter, who is on the high-functioning autism spectrum, this was a real problem. My daughter and I spent most of the night wandering the halls and did not sleep at all, trying to find a place where she could find peace.

A nice hotel, practical location for the airport and light rail. The breakfast was good, with a fair amount of options, and proper bacon, which isn't a guarantee anymore. A potential issue is the bathrooms. I travrlled alone this yime, but usually I travel with a colleague. And frosted windows between room and shower+toilet is not a great option. Especially with rather solid non-frosted gaps... so be aware of that. A bit too much limestone buildup in the shower. Needs to be cleaned better.

Stayed for one night before our flight back to London. Nice, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Decent shower/bathroom. All the usual amenities are provided. There is an AC system, which is somewhat rare for hotels in this part of the world, that worked well and got the room down to a sleep-able temperature (we stayed in three hotels during our short trip to Bergen/Flam and the others were like saunas at night). Good, thick curtains (also rare). Very much appreciated as it doesn't really get dark during midsummer. Excellent location. A very short walk to the terminal and tram station. Breakfast is amazing. We had an early flight and the full spread wasn't out, but there was still so much choice and it was really lovely stuff. They were also fine with us making a sandwich to go as we didn't have much time in the morning, which is rare for a hotel chain and was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend. Would happily stay again.

The location near the airport and transport to the city centre using the light rail tram/bus was important to us with a few days stay. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were comfortable with fluffy pillows (flat pillows would help) the bathroom with bathtub made it more relaxing. The soundproof of the rooms was excellent. The breakfast was first class.

Experience both meh and great service at Clarion BGO. The guy checked us in was not very friendly. The shower in the room we were given didn’t drain(the guy checked us in said that was the only room they had) but Sylvie(not sure we spelled it correctly )went extra mile in late night to find us another room with working drains and at a quiet location! Distance to airport is convenient and the train is going to downtown was easy too! Was interesting to see a breakfast staff started to cut in the line of guests to fill up several to-go boxes of food when there was still 30 minutes away from the end of the breakfast hour.

Sov her fordi vi hadde et tidlig fly. Supert med frokost fra 04.00. To hyggelige resepsjonister. Servicen i baren ved spisesalen var heller dårlig. Følte at vi var i veien/ ikke ønsket der. Ikke et lite smil engang. Ingen som kom å ryddet på bordene. Synd!

I arrived before my checkin at 11. The woman stated that no rooms were available until 3. I can leave my suitcase with her and that was it. I feel that she was lacking customer service. Didnt give anymore info. I waited until 2:50 and then approached the counter and asked the new guy if my room was ready , which it was. No one came to check on me or offer me something to drink or maybe try and get me a room. Nothing

This hotel pre-delivered before I checked in: I messed up my reservation and they went above and beyond to accommodate it to me and my kids. I was not sure what to expect from the airport hotel but this one was surprisingly quiet and super nice. Very clean, modern, and great amenities. I have never seen my kids eat so much for breakfast: they had amazing selection of delicious healthy food. Check in and check out was flawless. I'd definitely stay in Clarion again

Easy walk from the airport terminal. Had a 5AM check in the next day, so the location was convenient. Staff was very good at front desk and restaurant. Clean and comfortable. Would stay again for same convenience.

Liked: beautiful, comfortable, clean hotel that offers early cold breakfast for people with early flights. Disliked: on hot, cold or rainy days a hotel shuttle would be appreciated. It is a bit of a hike to the terminal.

Although billed as adjacent to the airport it was actually a long walk away. We were already tired when we arrived and the walk felt almost impossible. Could really use a golf cart service. Although the hotel tried to appear upper class, the paint in our room and hallway needed a refresh. The bedding and towels though were clean and friendly. There was only an inch of space between our twin beds. More would have been appreciated. Very nice breakfast.

Very convenient for the airport, 5 to 10 mins walk. Breakfast was very good. No tea or coffee in room but free tea and coffee in the lobby that you can take to the room. Would book again.

Walking distance to Airport. Less than 10 minutes from lobby to airport departure counters. Staff set aside an airport luggage cart for us since we had a 6:00 am flight. Staff provided very clear walking instructions to the airport departures and the availability of "take-out" breakfast boxes for our early departure. Walkway is about 80% covered and we did have light rain in the morning (remember this is Bergen)!

The walk from the airport terminal is only like 10 minutes but you have to find the way through some random spaces and then through a parking garage then outside again (it rains constantly in Bergen) then up an inconvenient ramp. Once you’re there it is wonderful! The bathroom doors are glass and not completely frosted - you can see in to the toilet which could be awkward for some. But super efficient rooms, and an AWESOME breakfast buffet!

The breakfast had an amazing choice of healthy food in addition to the normal standard of choice. We had a large choice of breakfast. The ease of choosing your sitting without being questioned about which room number ect. The staff was amazing as we were placed at a better room without being asked for extra fees. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable. Overall a great choice.

Superb location for the airport. Just a 5 minute walk and mostly undercover which is great when its pouring with rain. Staff are all very friendly and attentive. Room was a good size, clean and with a large bed. There are free coffee points on the ground floor, but it would be nice to have tea and coffee in the room. My TV had a fault, but it was still watchable, just. Spent the afternoon and early evening in Bergen. The tram can be taken from the airport all the way to the centre of Bergen and is very cheap. It takes about an hour so a 90 minute ticket covers it. I had dinner in the hotel which was pretty good. The shrimp starter was huge and I barely had room for the main. The breakfast is amazing. There is so much to choose from with cold and hot options, freshly baked bread, cakes, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and an omelette station.

The location near the airport and transport to the city centre using the light rail tram/bus was important to us with a few days stay. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were comfortable with fluffy pillows (flat pillows would help) the bathroom with bathtub made it more relaxing. The soundproof of the rooms was excellent. The breakfast was first class.

I didn’t expect much from an airport hotel and was delighted with the Clarion. We had a great dinner at the casual restaurant, an excellent breakfast, and didn’t have to check out til noon. Great ending to our travels in Norway!
