Daddy O Hotel

Rooms are a little small. For the price we paid for 2 nights I was expecting a bit more. I did like the short walk to the beach and the front desk hands out chairs, umbrellas, towels and badges for their guests. Bikes are available as well to get around the island. Roof top bar was closed on a Sunday at 8pm which was a bummer but the outdoor level 1 bar was open until 10pm.

The roof top bar was awesome. The outside showers were great , even supplied soap. All the staff were helpful and nice .

Fun vibe. Great bars. Amazing espresso machine. Rooms and corridors are a bit tired. The elevator wasn’t working well (door closing sensor malfunctioned). My mini fridge froze everything I put in there.

Staff is very accommodating and looks to do everything to keep guests happy. Daddy O offers nice perks of free continental breakfast with muffins , coffee, yogurt. They provide all beach necessities chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and beach passes. Nice rooftop bar and back bar area. The rooms/ showers are a little small and could use updating as could the interior carpeting.

Nice room. Long walk with stairs and no baggage carts available because of broken elevator. Not sure why they did not leave one cart on second floor? Otherwise nice room and excellent service at restaurant.

Great location on beach block. Having 3 bars/restaurants was really convenient. Free continental breakfast was a nice plus, as well as free parking right across the street. Bathroom was fully updated and modern. They also give you beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and badges so you don't have to haul your own. Rachel at front desk was very accommodating and would get hot tea for me every morning since only coffee available at breakfast bar. Thanks Rachel!! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is a lot better than what i thought. They have chairs,towells and umbrellas for you to hit the beach. I wish they had late check out. I wanted to stay a little longer on the check out day.

Nice concept. The rooms need updating, very small. Elevator didn’t work for the first two days.

It looked so good on the app. The reviews were pretty good, but it was overall disappointing. The food was good in the restaurant but the water was a d*@^*&@d. Will not stay there again. The room wasnt very clean, and they didnt clean it during our stay or even take out the trash

Was our 2 nd time staying here - we loved it so much! Very clean. Easy check in & out. Comfortable beds & pillows! Close & easy walk to beach. Friendly bartenders who make excellent, delicious drinks!

Filthy carpet throughout!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is terrible. The elevator is a death trap. The hallway is hot and smelly There was a hairball in my shower the size of a golf ball. The bathroom smelled like urine. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Staff was very kind and courteous . Nice availability to beach and beach chairs available. Room was small but fine , carpeting outside halls could use a good cleaning . while we were there they did have a carpet cleaner and looked like they did the stairs which was needed . The only weird thing was , we checked out and were still local and my husband realized he forgot some shirts in a drawer . He called and then drove there . The front desk girl said that the housekeeper manager said it was cleaned and nothing was in there . My husband proceed to say that I remember him putting them in the drawer . The girl went up and looked and lo and behold , my husbands shirts were in the drawer. What was that all about with housekeeping? Front desk personal was lovely . Just thought that was weird .

Check in was quick and easy, staff was great, bed was comfy and room was clean.

We were here for a wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and overall comfortable. We love the little retro fridge.

Rooms were very small, $600 for a full size bed. Found hairs in the room amd out by the "breakfast" area. Would not stay again.

The xs room was very tight ….. the door for the bathroom was a sliding pocket door & was very hard to close n lock

Room is small and faces street where there are lots of noisy cars. We did not have a sound sleep during nights.

I was disappointed there was no desk in the room. I needed to be able to work for a few hours and have never seen a hotel room without a desk! The room was tiny. It’s fine if you’re one person and just sleeping there.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our king suite was very spacious. The only problem was all of the doors in the room stuck and the door going into the room only opened halfway. Other than that everything was great.

Booked a last-minute two night stay here. First the good: the location is great, with ample parking and a two minute walk to a fantastic beach. We really appreciated the complimentary beach passes, chairs, umbrellas, and towels. Almost every staff member we interacted with was super friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. Bartenders downstairs were also great. The room was very clean and the bath products are a nice touch. The a/c in our room worked well during a heat wave. The less good: the website advertises all the rooms as having a mini-fridge. Ours did not, so we kept our drinks cold in a wastebasket filled with ice. The bed is not the most comfortable, and the pillows are particularly bad: stiff and overstuffed. There are three bars/restaurants but the happy hours is only at the one inside, which is dark and kind of depressing. We were told the rooftop bar is open till 10:00 but when we went at 9:15 we were told (by the only rude worker we encountered the whole time) that they had already "last called" because it was a slow night. There might be some issue with the kitchen ventilation because there was a strong smell of onion rings throughout the hotel when we arrived. I love onion rings, but it was a little gross. And the hotel is advertised as adult only, but the policy is actually 12 years old and up. On our second night, the people in the room above was were stomping around at 2:30 in the morning. Other than that the room was quiet.

Outside of the room window is a big fan and it’s very noisy, I can’t sleep all night.

Great location and easy walk to beach. Quick drive to other shops and restaurants. Refrigerator not plugged in upon arrival and didn’t work after we plugged in which was slightly inconvenient. Staff is excellent-everyone helpful and accommodating. Hotel was fully booked so we couldn’t enjoy the rooftop deck or the outdoor bar on first floor on Sat night for a pre-dinner drink since we didn’t have dinner reservations. Otherwise good stay.

There was an issue at the hotel and they had to clear it out as we were about to check in. The manager couldn’t have been more helpful in allowing us someplace to change so we didn’t miss a dinner reservation. That’s customer service

We had an amazing stay at Daddy-O! It was impeccably decorated on point as the kitschy retro beach theme. It was clean and staff were awesome. The beach was a short stroll!

Check in was quick and easy, staff was great, bed was comfy and room was clean.

We had a wonderful stay @ Daddy O’s. Front desk staff so nice & professional. Bartenders also friendly & provided good service. We ate at the restaurant which had delicious food & outstanding service. Housekeeping also very efficient.

The staff was wonderful! We realized my wife left her phone at the hotel after coming home. Valerie P., the manager, worked with us to mail it back. Valerie was great and never made us feel like a nuisance, even though it was extra work for her. Thank you!

Room was warm, the AC was not working and staff did not come to look at it. Was informed that the three adjoining rooms were all connected and if one had setting on warm the other room would not blow cold air.

Upon checking in, which took way TOO LONG, we were assigned a room that was already occupied. The woman currently occupying the room was a bit unsettled when we walked into her room at 10:15pm as she was getting ready for bed. Won't be returning.

Very comfortable and reasonable. Great beach access and close to other attractions. The restaurant is a standout. Everyone is so friendly.

LBI is a beautiful spot on the Jersey shore & DaddyO is in a perfect location! 1/2 block to beach. Drive a few minutes either way will get you anything you need! Hotel is so adorable & beachy. I didn’t get her name but check in host was super nice & helpful! Restaurant was wonderful-food & cocktails were delicious & service spot on! Coffee & water all day, yummy homemade cookies are the icing on the cake.

LBI is a beautiful spot on the Jersey shore & DaddyO is in a perfect location! 1/2 block to beach. Drive a few minutes either way will get you anything you need! Hotel is so adorable & beachy. I didn’t get her name but check in host was super nice & helpful! Restaurant was wonderful-food & cocktails were delicious & service spot on! Coffee & water all day, yummy homemade cookies are the icing on the cake.

This is a great hotel with a really good restaurant and super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend to anyone. Plan to eat at the restaurant if you stay here.

One of our favorite spots to stay on or off season in LBI! Food, cocktails, staff...all wonderful...had a great time!

The hotel is overpriced for the class and quality of service it provides. The amenities and overall experience did not justify the high cost. Definitely expected more for the rate charged.

The hotel is lovely, clean and updated. All the public spaces are pretty and inviting. Nice menu in the restaurant. Great coffee/espresso machine available all day. Breakfast was very basic, but fine. We had a junior room, which was quite small but adequate. Location was close to the beach and they provided towels, badges, chairs, etc. There are not many attractions nearby, but we biked to Beach Haven and drove to Harvey Cedars for some meals/activities. Staff was amazing.

Very clean and well appointed room. Small but efficient. No refrigerator in the room. Nice bathroom and closet with enough clothes hangers for a change. Pillows were many but a bit too thick for my neck. Box of chocolates on the bed was a nice touch but the box was impossible to open! Great restaurant and bars - good sushi too! NY prices for cocktails and food but I guess that is the going rate for LBI. Very friendly staff and helpful. Beach is one block away- so convenient.

Great hotel, nice rooms, great location. The bar/restaurant is fantastic no need to go elsewhere. Bartenders are wonderful and the hotel staff is friendly and helpful.
