Great hotel with perfect location in Bern. Spacious rooms and rooftop with amazing views of city and Alps. Close to grocery, Coop food hall, and tons of restaurants. Common area with kitchen and complementary espresso machine. Host downstairs if needed.

Les espaces communs sont spacieux propres et très agréables. La terrasse offre un joli panorama sur la ville. L'espace cuisine avec le café offert est très appréciable, tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner est là si vous le souhaitez. La chambre est très propre, hélas que la canapé lit qui servait pour les enfants grince énormément. Petit bémol, pour l'ouverture de la chambre via une clef sur le téléphone, car ça marchait qu'au bout de 15 tentatives !!!

Funky hotel, but very nice with large common areas. Totally contact-less (keys are on a phone app), about 10 minute walk from train station. Most tourist sites are close. Our room was a little odd (upper floor with sloped ceilinds, bed in middle of room). The bed was comfortable, and it's one of the few places we found with air-conditioning (slow, but it eventually made the foom nice on a hot day. But there is a kitchen area and refrigerator available for guests, as well as a free washer and dryer! The breakfast was very good with a nice variety.

Great self service city centre hotel with self check in via digital RFID keys to your phone. Room was spacious, well ventilated and came with all necessary essentials. Yea, coffee and entertainment areas within the common zones (no TV or kettle in your room) Room was exceptionally clean and towels and linen smelt fresh. Room was quirky and even came supplied with its own crossbow (maybe a Bern thing?) Shower was powerful and enclosed inside a very unique mirrored shower unit. Toilet was separate which would be great for couples or duo-travellers. Common room had freshly ground coffee and you were able to help yourself as required. Didn’t encounter any hotel staff while visiting but the premise is it’s all self service and experienced no problems checking in, finding my room or checking out. Would highly recommend as a great hotel for a solo traveller wanting to take in Bern or as a stop gap between other areas of Suisse.

Amazing location. Staff were great and friendly. Coffee machine downstairs was a good touch. Rooms were cleaned everyday and had all basic amenities. Rooftop terrace was awesome! Would've been nice if the rooms also had their own kettle/coffee machine area.

everything is smart in this hotel. after online check in, I could use my phone as a key to open the gate and the door of my room. the public area is beautiful with a huge kitchen. the rooftop is nice and I could enjoy myself with a drink. it is at the centre of the city so it is convenient but a bit noisy at night at there are some restaurants and bars down below.

The perfect hotel on a budget! This place has hostel vibes in the best possible way. The rooms are small but incredibly clean, modern, and pretty. The bedding was fluffy and so comfortable, and the shower was hands down my favorite of our entire Europe trip. While there isn’t a fridge in the room, there’s a great common area with a kitchen and coffee/tea machines where you can prepare food. There are also lots of cozy sitting areas that make it easy to enjoy takeout or grocery store meals. The location is fantastic—just an easy 8–10 minute walk from the train station, right in the beautiful old city of Bern. We were able to walk to all the major old city sights within 3–4 hours. On top of that, the shopping options in this area are endless—the best we experienced anywhere in Switzerland. There are also countless restaurants nearby and an immense selection of grocery stores, making it incredibly convenient for any type of traveler. Our particular room was one of the few that looked directly out onto a cement wall. We mentioned this to the host, who kindly invited us to meet in the common area (likely to try to switch our room), but since we were only there briefly and had already gone out exploring, we didn’t follow up. Even so, we really appreciated that the host was open to feedback. And in the end, that room did have the upside of extra privacy and quiet compared to others. Clean room

New hotel in Bern, 5 minutes walk to the train station. No actual keys and no TV, but everything was beyind our expectations. Rooms are spacious, very clean and new. Common public area is large and offers all you need for a coffee break and have a meal. Don’t miss the view from the rooftop!

Very nice location and cleanliness

Compact, but lots of charm! Great shower, separate toilet, with sink in the bedroom area. Also desk and seating area. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - slept brilliantly well. Key on app or phone, but you can also get a key card if you prefer.

Everything was nice and clean. The community area and kitchen was perfect for us. Was also really close by to the train station which was convenient for us. I would definitely stay again if I ever came back to visit .

Adoramos esse hotel, diferente de todos os outros que pegamos durante a viagem. Processo de check in e check out todo virtual, bastante eficiente. Rooftop com uma vista incrível para a cidade. Área comum muito legal, com uma decoração de super bom gosto e máquina de café e água a vontade. O quarto também era super espaçoso, novamente, muito bem decorado. Localização excelente. Pontos negativos: o sofá cama para o terceiro hóspede. Muito, muito desconfortável, fazia uma vala no meio, além de extremamente barulhenta, qualquer mínimo movimento era capaz de acordar o quarto inteiro. O quarto era muito bom, merecia uma cama ou sofá cama melhor. O box do chuveiro permite que quem está no quarto veja a pessoa lá dentro se a luz tiver acessa. O ar condicionado apesar de ter controle no quarto, não funcionava, só ligou durante a noite.

Great location, rooms aren’t super big but very practical. There’s hooks all Around the room where you can hang a lot of stuff so even the room is fairly small, it wasn’t hard to store stuff.

Hard time with this review, hate to say anything negative as overall it was 7/10. The hotel was very clean, staff friendly, onsite "Host" very oleasant (small amount of staff as it is a self-serve hotel), location excellent! Can be a noisy spot, popular restaurant/bar below so if you like windows open, it will be loud on weekends. Room was a bit stuffy, A/C didn't seem to work well, so it was hot with window closed. Might return, but would need assurance A/C is working well. Parking is easy with the neighboring parkade, however, £40 /night. Rooftop terrace gorgeous spot to drink wine as the sunsets, and coffee in the morning.

NO A/C! Despite Google and the hotels.com saying it has A/C, this is untrue. We were in Bern while daytime temps were in the 80sF. Our room was always at least 75° or more even though we had windows, blinds, and thermostat at lowest setting. We messaged the hotel and they said they don't have A/C, but do have a fan coil that keeps it at or below 19°C. This was absolutely not true since we were sweating day and night. The window also only opens a crack from the top. It is locked from opening all the way. The hotel is great if you are not there when the outside temps are high and you need A/C or at least a fully opening window..

Bella struttura in pieno centro che ti permette di girare Berna senza necessariamente prendere i mezzi. A 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e a pochi metri dalla torre della guardia e dal suo mercato rionale. Al primo piano, tutti i clienti, possono usufruire di una cucina con te e caffè/ latte etc gratuito. L' unica pecca, a mio avviso, la scomodità dell'arredamento. Lavandino in mezzo alla stanza che sporca facilmente e soprattutto angolo doccia semi trasparente sempre sulla stanza. Insomma, poca privacy intima!

Very tiny room. There was no bathroom: the water closet had the toilet, a sink was in the main room, and shower was accessed from the desk area, hence when exiting the shower you stood next to the desk. The only chair in the room was the desk chair, and there is no tv in the room.There is barely enough room to get around the bed. Finding space for the suitcases was challenging. The room is best suited for a single person. The check in process is on-line, so if your phone doesn’t work, it’s challenging.

The online check in and keys worked perfectly. Anika offered some of her mulled wine and was perfect for a chilly evening. The room is compact but has everything and we were very comfortable. Perfect place to stay!

The online check-in was fine, but accessing the doors using the online page was not the best option. You have to connect to the free Wifi first, otherwise you might need to pay for internet connection (Switzerland doesn't adhere to the EU roaming as other countries in Europe). Opening the external doors with the phone was not an issue, but the room wasn't as smooth, it always took us few tries before it worked. A bit annoying, but not a deal breaker. The room is really small, so everything is tight, but it has everything you need and it's well kept and very clean. The common area has free tea and coffee. The wifi works well. The location is fantastic, in the heart of the town, walkable distance from the train station.

I had the most wonderful experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how cozy and inviting the space was, it truly embodies the essence of "hygge." Located in the city center, it was incredibly convenient to explore everything with ease. The highlight of my stay, though, was meeting Annika, the host. She is warm, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. During a snowstorm, she went above and beyond by offering me a piece of cake, a small gesture that left a big impression. It was the perfect touch of comfort on a cold day. The commun space is spacious, beautifully designed, and made for relaxation. This hotel is a haven for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you, Annika, for making my stay so memorable. I’ll definitely be back!

Le check in et la clef électronique telle que proposée (avec de nombreux PDF à lire) n’est pas très confortable. Une longue queue à la porte de l’hôtel témoigne du fait que je n’étais pas la seule à ne pas comprendre ou avoir compris le système.

Quirky hotel right by the old town. Easily accessible from the train station (about a 10 minute walk) and plenty of facilities around. Room had basic amenities (no TV, fridge) but served the purpose of a stay well. Loved the electronic access. Would recommend.

The room is cozy but small, very convenient location with shops, grocery stores, transportation and main attractions. Guest cards are excellent so you can save some money moving around town. Anicca is such an amazing host. There is a kitchen that can be used in the main lobby with coffee machine, tea, and microwave. Terrace has an amazing view from the city. Online check-in was easy and convenient and hotel keys were on the app for easy access to the facility. I would recommend this hotel.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The room itself was the perfect size for one, exceptionally clean and bright. The common area had lots of space, and the 24hr free lattes, tea and water were a welcome surprise. The kitchen area also looked well equipped. Additionally they allow you to access the amenities until 6pm on the day of checkout, which immensely streamlined the process. Rooftop patio also a bonus. I will look for a stay kooook in my future travels and if ever in Bern again will choose to stay here.

The room was alright. There was not a kettle in the room so it would be nice if the kitchen had a kettle for guests to use. Check-in and check out was pretty straight forward and location was close to the train station. There are several supermarkets nearby.

Great central location, easy to find and nice to have coffee and tea provided. The shared common room is a good idea but in reality, it was crowded and hectic. A breakfast buffet would be better.

Achei muito interessante a forma de hospedagem do hotel! Meu quarto era pequeno mas confortável e tinha tudo o que eu precisava para uma estadia agradável e muito prática em Berna. A sala de convivência a que temos acesso nos fornece tudo o que precisamos para fazer não apenas o café da manhã mas também refeições completas. Gostei muito e recomendo sem hesitações!

This is a quirky and surprising hotel, with an original approach to breakfast by providing a home-like kitchen space in which you can prepare your own breakfast, with hot drinks provided free of charge. The public lounges spaces are very cosy and well suited to reading and getting a bit of work done. A simple but spectacular roof terrace, beautiful traditional circular stair well and great central location in old Berne are additional positive features. The room was small and eccentric, but impeccably fitted out and spotless, wsith a very comfortable bed.

All staff members are great people and do their job in an amazing way. They even helped me to redeem my mistakes! :) Just one thing when booking at this beautiful place: there is no breakfast option (when I booked, I did it because of the option Free breakfast included, when there is not). There is a huge and cozy kitchen where you can cook your meals, and some suoermarkets and shops around the hotel to do your groceries.
