Access to Hotel is very difficult. Access to front door is from 0700 to 1100 hours Monday - Friday. There are posts in the street preventing access. Hotel needs to provide access instructions. Parking is several hundred meters away and not easily found. Hotel is not well marked and can be easily missed. Room was large and very nice! Shower had lots of hot water. Shower was poorly designed and kept spraying water outside the tub. Hotel is well located, within walking distance of the old part of Salzburg. Very good breakfast. Staff generally speak English well.

The staff is above and beyond our expectations. Great breakfast to start your day. All the gym and spa facilities you could ever ask for, even a steam bath room. Easy 2 minute walk to popular tourist area. Clean and organized room. Absolutely no disappointments. Thank you!

Parking is difficult and there is no instruction ahead of time to figure out access to the hotel. Hotel is in 2 separate buildings across the street. Second building has only rooms so if you need front desk or breakfast you have to go across the street…. Not very convenient when is raining or cold.

Chose this specific hotel because of location and most importantly to me that they had a gym. Unfortunately when we arrived they informed me the gym hours were 8am-10pm. May work for some people but most workput early in the morning like myself so for our entire stay (4 days) I had to exercise outside which was fine but I wouldn't have chosen this particular hotel for our stay if I knew this in advance. Front desk staff was not very friendly unlike the wait staff for breakfast or bar who were splendid.

Zentral gelegen, man ist sofort bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Toller Service, sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Der Spabereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, auch der Fitnessraum lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Wenn man gegenüber in der Residenz untergebracht ist, muss man allerdings in Kauf nehmen, einmal über die Straße zu gehen.

Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer im Nebengebäude in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber. Es war leider bei Buchung nicht ersichtlich, dass man ein Zimmer auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite gebucht hat. Zum Frühstück, Wellness, Sauna, Schwimmbad und Bar mussten wir immer die Straße überqueren.

This hotel has huge potential to be excellent. The man at the front desk is very nice and helpful! We stayed in rooms across the street from the main hotel. The rooms are large and well appointed. The bed is firm, and I prefer a firm bed. The room was not as clean as it should be with huge smudges on every glass and some dust. But the bedding and towels were fresh. The location of the hotel is excellent!! It’s in a very nice neighborhood just a short walk across the bridge. There are two issues the hotel needs to fix. First, the rooms we stayed in, 101 and 102, were very, very warm. We stayed in December and had to sleep with the windows wide open. The hotel is on a very busy street and it was rather loud with the windows open. Also, the Internet was so slow it was almost non-existent. We couldn’t even use Wi-Fi to book train tickets because the site wouldn’t load. We were there two nights and informed the front desk of our concerns after the first night, so they had all day to try and make corrections. Unfortunately, they didn’t. I asked for money off the rooms because of the heat and lack of Wi-Fi, which they agreed to. However I would have preferred them to work properly rather than have to ask for a discount. If they fix these issues, it would be a very good hotel.

For a hotel that is upwards of $350/night, it didn’t meet expectations. Our room- AC is subpar, there’s minima air movement with open windows. The minibar was advertised in the room with prices but was empty. Our hotel shampoo bottles were empty on arrival. Daily room cleaning service didn’t refill coffee/tea or provide clean glasses when used, only dropped off new towels. The hotel bar is not staffed by a bartender (the front desk manager does it all), and while they advertise $11 “mixed cocktails” they are actually pre-prepared packets (Nio?) that they add to ice, not mixed drinks. The pros of this place include: good breakfast, good location to restaurants and shops, lovely breakfast waitstaff. They deserve praise for their kindness and attentiveness.

Like many reviewers before me, I have to take issue with what I agree is a “ bait and switch” The pictures online show a beautiful bathroom. Our bathroom had only a shower and it is the smallest shower I have ever seen. Totally inadequate and to be honest had I been shown this prior to check in, I would have refused the room and gone elsewhere. While everything else was OK , this totally ruined the stay for us. When on vacation a bath or a comfortable shower is the very thing you need to unwind and relax. This was impossible in such a narrow small shower. Think test tube or MRI scanner !

Great: breakfast, staff, location, room was big. Not great: a/c seemed to be set so it couldn't go lower than 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Bad: the bathtub/shower is a 3' high step up with no safety rails. The tub is very slippery. It's an accident waiting to happen. Additionally, bathroom is dated and need a remodel

My niece and I shared a most unusual two-level room at this hotel. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. I'll never forget it. The hotel also offered an e-bike for rent, and I took a wonderful ride around the lovely city of Salzburg.

My husband and I along with our 2 teenagers stayed here for two nights. The staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable with great proximity to the Christmas Market and other places. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room was across the road from the main hotel on the top floor, the family room was huge, 2 bathrooms, really nice. The gym and pool are also very good. The area is good to start a walk down the slight hill towards the river. Lots of shops and places to eat. Good cafes for coffee and of course apple strudel. The castle above Salzburg is worth a visit with a great view of the snowy mountains. The Christmas market was very nice with plenty of stalls.

What a lovely hotel! Everything was very clean and comfortable. In the evenings, we spent much time downstairs near the bar and reception area. Everyone was very pleasant and extremely helpful, especially Daniel, Ossama and Andy. We highly recommend this hotel, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful for our entire stay. Our check-in experience was exceptional with helpful directions and assistance with getting my wife's luggage to the room. At breakfast the staff were extremely attentive and the buffet was great. Room was quite spacious and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They assisted with my wife's gluten free requirements at breakfast, checked on restaurant reservations for us, and even helped us bring bags up a few stairs into the reception area. This hotel has a very convenient location. It is pretty and clean with a gorgeous and comfortable lobby/bar area. The parking garage is only a few blocks away. The staff went above and beyond - thank you to Daniel, Osamma and Andy. The family suites are very spacious - a great value if traveling with kids. We would absolutely stay here again.

The ideal spot to stay in Salzburg! Just around the corner from the lively walking-street, Linzergasse, and within a short walk of the Salzach River and the historic old town. Great location - just about 10 minutes across the river to the old town square, and many restaurants near the hotel. Room rate was good and the room very clean and nice. Lastly the Concierge Helmut was very friendly and helpful and also allowed us an early check-in. All in all, a great experience.

The hotel is excellent in terms of location - conveniently situated in the middle of Salzburg and withing easy walking to most attractions. The rooms are smallish, European size, but comfortable and neat. The front desk and concierge were very helpful. We drove, and found getting there can be a bit of a challenge given the road restrictions. We called the hotel and they were very helpful in guiding us. City parking garage nearby. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. All seemed ok except one, Tokyo Japanese Restaurant (check their Google reviews).

An excellent hotel and worth the price. Staff were very friendly, hotel has a swimming pool and sauna plus a bar. Breakfast was very good, buffet style with cooked and cold food and its served 7am to 11am. The room was large and has an en suite bathroom which includes soap and shampoo. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room with a tv that has English tv channels. The room has a mini bar although this is not free. The location is excellent close to bars, restaurants and the old town of Salzburg. When I return to Salzburg I will definitely stay here again

Check-in was flawless. Lobby is very nice with a well-stocked bar. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. Our housekeeper was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was the best we've had on our trip (7 hotels) - great selection. And the staff in the dining room were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a quiet street (except on trash pickup day). If we ever come back to Salzburg, we will definitely stay here again.

The staff was absolutely amazing.
