Clean maintained building on busy road, room on opposite from road quiet. 100$ extra charged for any damage fees, but returned at midnight checkout day. Could hear voices between rooms, but not disturbing. Dogs welcome. Breakfast setup, fruit and coffee all day, usual packaged pastries, yogurt/cereals, offered breakfast sandwiches. Parking well lit all night. Gateway Diner nearby recommended, large menu, good food, big breakfasts. Walk across the Hudson bridge nearby, easy access to Poughkeepsie across Mid Hudson Bridge.

This hotel is a hidden gem and pet friendly. The staff was great and had coffee or tea available at all times and comfortable seating area to eat or just relax. No microwaves in rooms but available in lobby. Will go back soon. Convenient to highways.

The Check-in process was quick and efficient with great customer service at the Front Desk. The room was fairly spacious and the queen-sized beds were soft and comfortable, however there was an area on my mattress that was sunken a bit. The room amenities were as expected and we had no issues with noise during our stay. We were able to adjust our room temperature with the AC whenever it got too cold or too warm which aided in a comfortable stay. The bathroom had sufficient space and storage area, and we were able to get new, clean towels and tissues upon request. We felt at home. The hotel is small yet charming; It has a lovely lobby, lounge and dining area that can be utilized 24/7. We were satisfied with the free breakfast options provided (apples & peaches, cereals and milk, orange & apple juices, yogurts, oatmeal, granola bars, muffins, boiled eggs, bacon cheese egg on a bagel, and bagels that can be paired with butter, peanut butter, and jelly). The breakfast area has a microwave, toaster, hot water dispenser, and an iced water dispenser. The coffee and tea area was excellent as we could indulge in our coffee and tea 24/7. The laundry area is accessible 24/7 with 1 washer & 1 dryer machine. The Front Desk staff was always helpful or happy to assist. The hotel has a lot of free parking space and the area felt comfortable and safe. Overall, given the location, quality of service and amenities provided, it was a good value, a comfortable stay and I'd happily stay here agai

The bed linens were dirty and stained. The tub completely clogged and you had to stand in a foot of water when showering. Water didn’t drain at all. No elevator at all so a real pain with luggage transport.

The room we were given had hair all over the place. The bed was dusty and dirty. We asked for a different room and we were given one with slightly less hair and dust. Really unfortunate experience. Uncomfortable and a waste of time+money.

The Room was filthy.Left over food in the fridge who knows for how long .They don’t answer the phone when you called them ,Short staffed after we make them aware of the situation they did not offer any assistance , even after the manager went to to verify we were telling the true. Fast forward I called Expedia to report them Yet they still denying our claim. What a place of business!

I liked that there was no carpet in room. However, it turns out that it makes it very noisy when people above you are walking around. The people above me did not return to the room until almost 11 o’clock. The noise of them working walking around persisted until after midnight. The free breakfast had very little selection. Least number of options I have ever had at a hotel. Everything else was great.

Convenient for visiting family. Room was clean. However, due to staff shortage, we had to obtain our own fresh towels each evening upon returning to our room. Breakfast was very poorly done. Most of our 3 days there was very little available for breakfast. Ended up just having a bowl of cereal one morning. Upon check in, was told there would be an extra $100 added for incidentals that would be removed at check out. But at checkout, there was a charge of $183. It took 2 days for that charge to be refunded to my bank account. There was a very nice lady at checkout that was very helpful in getting this matter resolved. Overall I would stay here again, despite what sounds like a bad review. If breakfast was better and room service was better, this would be just right for our trips to the area to visit family.
