Transit strikers are lined up along the sidewalk and there was no airport shuttle as a result of the strike. Otherwise everything was great.

We selected this hotel because they advertised that they had free shuttle to the airport. Upon arriving we discovered that the hotel employees were on strike. Because they were experiencing a strike they were temporarily canceling the shuttle service. We then had to arrange for an Uber which cost us an additional $68.00. I feel ripped off by the hotel. If I had known I would have stayed at another location.

There was a stike at the hotel so we were woken up to protesters/workers with loud horns. This also meant no shuttle service to airport. While they paid for a cab, we needed to wait in a long line for a cab at the airport that we were not planning on.

The pool was empty. The hot tub was not functioning and they had a note in the elevator explaining it was closed for annual maintenance. It really didn’t make sense because it’s July and being in Canada you would think they would do the annual maintenance in the winter, it was really disappointing not to have a swimming pool on hot days outside we stayed four nights and I didn’t want to see anyone doing any maintenance on the pool so it’s some excuse for not having the pool functioning.

Convenient and close to Richmond Center Mall and the Richmond LRT station. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. However, the swimming and hot tub area could do with some improvement to make it more pleasing and enjoyable. Nice gym with machines for a good workout.

I’ve been staying here for about 25 years and it’s kept the same high quality for the price I look forward to. Comfortable, clean, quiet room in the heart of Richmond. Great bar and restaurant. Very convenient for the airport.

Our room was not cleaned well. There was toothpaste still on the counter in the bathroom and there were cup rings on the desk area. SO you can tell they didn't wipe everywhere.

Overall good. Like that the room was kind of lately refurbished. The balcony and the city view were nice! However the sofa bed in the suite we booked was very dirty: the sheet was unchanged since at least last guest as there was hair and stain on the bed sheet! The bathroom is just too tiny comparing to the room size. Also the fridge placed by the sofa bed was really noisy at sleep time as it constantly turns on and off. I had to switch it to off at 5AM after waken by it.

Overall, this hotel was fantastic. We were there for an event at the Richmond Olympic Oval, so this was super close and convenient. We had a suite, which allowed us to comfortably fit 4 kids and 2 adults. The hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed (we loved the shampoo/conditioner!), the restaurant was good, we loved the outdoor pool, and parking was safe and easy. The only negative part of our experience was that we were on the 18th floor, right by the elevator. We are not particularly sensitive to elevators (we're not guests who usually request to be distanced from an elevator when staying at hotels) but the noise and rumbling from the elevator in our room was very disturbing. It continued all night and the room actually physically shook whenever the elevator moved. We think it might have been because we were on the top floor and the elevator mechanics/winch was right above us, making it particularly loud as a result? I am a pretty sound sleeper and sleep with earplugs in, but the noise was still audible. My husband (who could sleep beside a moving train) was also kept up all night by the sound and vibrations. Even our kids (who were exhausted from a sports competition and who will sleep through anything) complained that the had been woken in the night by the sound. So, overall, a great hotel, but just be careful on the top floor by the elevator!

Decent hotel, but very disappointed I found out after booking their shuttle service to the airport isn't available because the neighboring hotel was having a strike which ended up costing an additional $100 from the airport and back. Room was modern in an old building so quite loud with traffic. Staff where friendly though and the room was nice.

I stayed at this hotel as an Expedia Gold member and a Marriott Silver Elite member. I booked a VIP Access room, which included late check-out as one of the listed benefits (subject to availability). During my stay, I requested late check-out but was informed that it wasn’t possible due to internal policies. This was disappointing, as I’ve consistently booked through Expedia and have had positive experiences with the VIP Access benefits in the past. The room and stay were otherwise pleasant. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it helps improve communication around how VIP benefits are honored.

Location was very central. Only issue is it is very popular so sometimes the two elevators they have can get slow and backed up. Staff is very nice and hours for the bar are very good.

Easy ahort ride by taxi to this hotel. Close (1 block) from shopping mall & fast food. Nice dinner at restaurant in hotel. Quiet room and floor by pass card only for each floor - so felt very safe. Great for one night stay.

Stayed at the Marriott for our last night in Vancouver so we could pay for late check out & get an aiport shuttle. Staff stored our bags when we arrived eearly from prior accommodation & also stored them an additional hour after check out while we grabbed some tea. We were able to use rhe pool while waiting for our room to be ready buffet breakfast was great. Cant fault the stay

The entire stay was excellent. We arrived early, but the front desk allowed us to check outrageous amounts of luggage, and gave us recommendations about how to spend our day in Vancouver. We elected to eat at the hotel restaurant, and our server, Lisa, was wonderful! She was one of the high points of our entire trip!
