Electric charging was easy and a great bonus as some in the area were not working. The view from the suite was great, especially as the storm raged able to watch the massive waves crashing.

I have honestly never stayed in such a shabby hotel. The standards were way below average. Dirty, old, smelly and so outdated I doubt it's been decorated since the mid 80s. The only saving grace was the livelychap from Hungary on reception who did his best to help. I cant say the same for the receptionist who couldnt care less when I checked out and proceeeded to go for a smoke right outside the door! Portpatrick is a lovely place but unfortunately the windows in this hotel were so filthy I couldn't take in the view. Avoid this place! I wish I had...

The staff is very polite and respectful. The entire building has been recently renovated; the rooms are comfortable and cosy, and the view is simply amazing

The room was large, clean and comfy with a nice view of the harbour and sea. The staff were very courteous, hard working and helpful. Sadly the food left alot to be desired.
