At Gold Beach Inn, reviewers highlight easy beach access, scenic ocean views from certain rooms, and pet-friendly stays, while noting a mix of newly renovated interiors and older areas that feel dated, reflecting an ongoing, uneven upgrade across the property.

First of all, I searched hotels with hot tubs and chose this one because it said it had it. It doesn’t. They are in shambles with no clear sign of repair happening. You are paying 130$ a night for a shabby hotel that has been run down and barely taken care of. The towers look dirty. The bed smells like dog. The room smelled so chemical sprayed it hurt my throat. The upstairs renters weee on some kind of stimulants because they walked back and forth all night long creaking the floors back and forth and making loud sounds with doors and their hard pounding steps. Also we have a dog, so they put us in the dog room, it was so stinky and it was at the top of the stairs, where everyone passes by. So the dog barked all night. I did not sleep much, the beds sheets were washed in horrible chemical smelling detergent. Floor was pretty gross. Busted doors and windows, no security. Then when I went to talk to the desk person they just gla

If you do book, call the hotel directly and make sure they book you anywhere other than in the 400 rooms. The room had a dank smell to it, there was a window that led out to an enclosed hallway so you could get no ventilation. No view as pictured in the listing. Incredibly hot and stuffy in the room. The road noise was pretty brutal, too. They’re dog friendly, which is cool until your child gets rushed by an aggressive off leash dog in the parking lot. A cleaning lady stood there and watched the whole thing, didn’t even bother to ask if my kid was ok. We let them know we had family staying in the same hotel and they put us as far away from them as possible. Family had a balcony overlooking the ocean and the concrete was cracked in a way that made it feel unsafe. Stairs up to their room had rotting, spongy spots. Very lackluster experience and we will not be back.

We stayed in one of the dog friendly rooms. Rooms could use a little updating, but overall good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I'll start by saying we stayed in the Lighthouse Condo and it was HUGE. I will add video here or on google. You can fit two families. Three queen beds and two queen sofa couches. The property was a tiny walk to the beach, safe and easy. No elevator, wasn't an issue for us. The actual condo had some things that were newly replaced, like nice counters and shower but it did not seem extra clean. It was totally manageable and worth it for the size and cost, as well as the full kitchen. The only complaint is that I called and asked prior about a coffee maker being full sized and it was a hotel single serve. There were not enough sheets, towels, paper towels or trash bags, but I did not go and ask for any and I'm sure they were available. There were a few window screens missing but it didn't bother us. The staff are all really nice and helpful! They even went and found our expensive missing ear buds and shipped them to us! Beds were clean and comfy, and we had Easter there! Might still be some eggs hidden somewhere in there. We will absolutely be back, and with friends. Great place to stay.
