It was a very modern property. Comfortable and clean. Staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful. The property itself was beautiful and convenient to all of the attractions. It gets extra points for the eco friendliness such as automatic lights in the hallways; options for the guests to opt out of room cleaning to get a glass of Prosecco or a cup of coffee. The only negative was that the gym was a bit small and bare, no yoga mat or free weights, just few cardio machines and a weight machine, but I would absolutely stay there again!!

We had a great stay at Garni - it’s perfect walking distance from everything we wanted to do. Staff were great at helping us get cash after we forgot our physical travel card. Breakfast was really good and varied - great for veggies too. Lovely pottery shop next door! The rooms were simple but had everything you needed and the free water every day was a helpful touch. It could do with a gym but that’s all! Thanks ☺️

We recently stayed at 1891 Garni hotel in Krakow located in an excellent area. The hotel was clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room Comfort: The beds were uncomfortable with noticeable wear and an uneven surface. Although the staff tried to accommodate by offering another room and flipping the mattresses, the issue persisted. They did fulfill my request for orthopedic pillows which improved comfort slightly. Gym Facilities: The gym was underwhelming, contrary to the advertised amenities. It was a small room with limited equipment, and one malfunctioning machine that wasn’t fixed during my stay, which was disappointing. Stayed 4 nights early July, upgraded to superior double with balcony, very pleased with the room. Looks onto internal courtyard very quiet we slept with the balcony door open no noise. Large comfortable bed, clean very quiet room. Didn’t use restaurant so can’t comment on food. Nice bar closes 10pm in the week. Friendly staff. Location is great lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We loved the city and will be back as needed more time to see everything.

The staff warmly greeted us at reception. They answered all my questions about the surrounding area. They even helped us schedule our Warwel Castle trip. Breakfast was very good with a large variety of fresh fruits, breads, meat and cheeses, to go along with the more traditional breakfast foods. Our room was very clean, and housekeeping did a super job. I want to thank all of the staff for a very enjoyable experience.

This hotel was lovely. Nothing really bad to say about it to be honest. Room was spotless and cleaned promptly each day. Staff were all friendly and professional. We didn’t use the restaurant at all but the bar area was nice and reasonably priced. The only issue was the distance to the main square if you’re not fond of walking, we didn’t mind though, got some exercise in to work off all the good food we ate! Would highly recommend.

Cleaning came 8.30 am and we whre still in bed and asked them to come back. Thi resulted in no cleaning at all during our stay... even with discussion in reception. Make sure to be extremely careful and secure it's understood whatever you want.

Check-in was friendly and available services explained. Room was spotless and well set out, good amount of drawers, shelves and hanging space. Room was a nice temperature and very quiet, no disturbance from adjoining rooms either. The carpets throughout rooms and the hallway act as very effective soundproofing. Didn't try the restaurant as I like more vegan choices but food looked very nice. Bar had some lovely wines, price as expected for the hotel so no complaints from us. Great area around the hotel, a good vibe, many bars and restaurants, no noise disturbance, felt very safe. Easy walk to Old Town and close to tram network. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others. Fantastic value for money.

Fijn hotel met nette kamers en een goed uitgebreid ontbijt. Wij verbleven in een superior kamer met balkon. Het enige minpuntje was dat je in bad moest douchen, de douchekop hing voor ons veel te laag dus konden er niet onder staan. Doordat je de douchekop vast moest houden en de badwand niet heel breed was, werd helaas de badkamer wel erg nat.

Sängarna var lite hårda för oss, men vi är vana vid mjuka sängar. Duschen i badkar och med ett litet stänkskydd var lite opraktisk och säkert besvärlig/farlig för äldre personer. Allt annat var mycket bra, nyrenoverat och fint. Trevlig personal och bra frukost. Utmärkt läge för alla Krakows sevärdheter och många restauranger i närheten.

Great hotel with lovely, comfortable rooms and a really welcoming feel. The only downside was that there seemed to be just one front-of-house staff member at a time, which meant longer queues for check-in and check-out. With a bit more support at reception, it would be absolutely perfect.

1891 Garni hotel was excellant.Hotel was clean,lovely decoration.Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.The meals in the bar area were all of high quality and most enjoyable.A lovely garden also to sit out in or enjoy a drink and food.Good value for money and good location.I would highly reccomend and would definately stay there again if i go back to krakow again.

Brilliant property located on the edge of an historical Jewish quarter. Staff members were polite and eager to help. They also booked tours to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Welichia Salt Mine with a company called Krakow Direct. Both tours turned out to be excellent.

I’m delighted Expedia has given me a chance to review Hotel Garni! We are just back from a 3 night stay and I would highly recommend staying here for any Kracow trip Communication from the hotel before we arrived was great / they organised a private transfer from the airport which was seamless . They also let us know that as we were arriving before check in time we could leave our bags and explore or make use of hotel facilities until our room was ready On check in staff on reception were super friendly with lots of advice on the area The hotel itself was spotless , room really big with a nice seating area There was a lovely restaurant and bar - we ended each day with a nightcap in the bar and again the bar staff were super friendly We had breakfast every morning and there was a good selection of hot and cold foods The hotel staff are very knowledgable and will provide naps / suggestions and recommendations on the area They organised a trip to the salt mines for us and also a private transfer from the hotel to the airport for return trip In general the hotel staff are smiley , welcoming and nothing was a problem The location of the hotel is perfect . It is in the heart of the Jewish quarter with the quirkiest bars and restaurants on your doorstep A 10/15 walk from the hotel takes you to main market square

This is a lovely hotel in an historical part of Krakow. Beautifully designed and fantastic staff. Near amenities and local restaurants with it also away from some of the more touristy and expensive locations in the city. Thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to go to Krakow. Breakfast was also great with cleaning and housekeeping also amazing.

Great hotel! It's in an old building but is modern, fresh and light on the inside. Bed was comfortable, good lightning, high ceiling and great sized room. Had to ask the staff about trains, tours etc and each time they were extremely helpful and very kind. Best staff I've ever encountered at a hotel! Breakfast area was nice and had a good choice of dishes.

The hotel room was always cleaned to a high standard. Fresh towels every day. Front desk staff (Natalie) were really great providing local information on tours, transport and arranging a packed lunch for our trips if required. The hotel and staff were very friendly at all times. Hotel Garni would be our 1st choice to stay on our next visit to Krakow.

Location is ideal within easy walking distance of the old town and the Jewish Quarter with an abundance of restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes walk. Staff were very friendly and the room was spotless with excellent decor. Wide selection on offer for breakfast. We did not eat dinner at the hotel , but what we saw looked very good value. Highly recommend a stay there .

The Hotel is in a great vibrant location for evenings and a 15 mins walk from the old town. Clean spacious bedroom, with clean facilities. Breakfast very well presented with many options. The stalk are very courteous and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Krakow

Great breakfast,there's plenty of choice for everyone. Had the set lunch at the restaurant once, and the food was gorgeous and plating was excellent. Short walk to the square and Castle Our room was spacious and clean. As for the staff, they are all courteous, professional, and friendly.

Amazing hotel in the Jewish Quarter. Staff here are friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a lot of options and it stocked well. The room we had was spacious and ideal for us. A top hotel in a fantastic location. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay here again.
