This was one of the most unacceptable hotel experiences my family and I have ever had. The hotel’s water was turned off, and we were given **absolutely no notification or warning**. No one contacted us beforehand, no adequate explanation was provided, and we were simply left to deal with the consequences after arriving. Because there was no water, my family literally had to leave the hotel and go to a fitness gym just to take showers. **We paid to stay at a hotel, yet we were forced to find somewhere else to shower.** That is completely unacceptable. Water is not a luxury or an optional amenity—it is a basic necessity. If a hotel knows that the water will be shut off, guests should be notified immediately so they can make informed decisions about their stay. Instead, we were blindsided and left extremely inconvenienced. What is especially frustrating is the lack of communication and consideration for paying guests. Had we known ahead of time, we could have made different arrangements. Instead, the hotel allowed us to arrive and discover the problem ourselves. Unexpected maintenance issues can happen, but how a hotel handles those problems says everything about its customer service. In this case, the communication and handling of the situation were completely unacceptable. I would strongly reconsider staying at this hotel. Paying for a hotel room should come with the expectation of basic necessities like running water!!!

Breakfast included was a few hostess items, coffee, and cereal. The door did not bolt, the hair dryer was melted, the towels had brown stains on them, the comforter had burn holes on it, and there was a roach crawling on the wall in the shower.

My stay here could have definitely been better! There was no breakfast other than cereal, oatmeal and yogurt. Also, the water pressure for the shower was terrible! There were some lights in the room that didn't work, and the ice machine was not working! I think my next stay in Galveston will be at a different hotel. Thanks, but no thanks.
