Decent hotel in a decent area. Parking is in a lot across the street, not covered. Hotel could be a little cleaner but acceptable. Bed was comfortable. Free breakfast was great with fluffy, perfectly cooked eggs and any breakfast item you could possibly wish for. Staff was friendly. Would stay again.

Looks like this property is either new or newly renovated. Modern furniture. I love it! Well worth the price . Convenient parking across the street. Not a long walk. Downtown location.

Property was perfect for our 1 night stay. The area was in the older part of Evansville by the river. Historical homes and churches were all around. Close enough to Ford Center to be able to walk there. Hotel parking was convenient. It would have been nice to know there was $10 charge prior to checking out.

Booked a king suite and was given a room with 2 queens. They told me someone changed it in the system and refused to change rooms or refund any money. Phone in the room doesn’t work. Alarm clock doesn’t work. Bathroom is dirty. All elevators but one out of order. Common restrooms out of order. Understaffed. Just an awful experience.

At first it was a little confusing on parking and the entrance to the hotel was difficult to drive up to because it was small and I drive a full size pickup. However, once the front desk agent explained everything, it was easy to park. The hotel over all is nice, Modern and comfortable.

The location was good. Limited amenities. Older building but clean. I paid $425 for a river view but what I got was a full view of the parking lot and if you were standing at the window looking to the far right then you could see a tiny bit of the river. I felt it misleading and disappointing. I paid too much for the room for that pathetic view. I would return if the price was less than half and for the location.

The property is very unclean. Floors were dirty in the entry, check in and elevators. They gave me a room key that someone had already checked into and was laying in bed. The room I finally got was a nice room, but the floors, toilet, comforter, or soiled.

I was extremely disappointed with this particular hotel. (Not sure how it garnered so many positive reviews) I've stayed in dozens of Holiday Inn Express' and never had an issue. Property is extremely dated, there were sticky spots on the floor outside the bathroom floor, indicating that the floor was not clean. The shower and bathroom were so/so. Additionally, this place has a lot of nerve calling my room a suite. The cost was $268/night for a river view "suite". There was a wrap-around hallway that led to a bed and a bathroom. There was nothing at all special about this room (the view was ok I guess). It was almost as if they decided to take part of the room and turn it into a utility room. (It's a little hard to explain). Imagine a huge room with about 50% of it walled in, right in the center. There are pics on IHG's website of the suites at this hotel, mine looked NOTHING like it. Needless to say, I won't every stay at another Holiday Inn Express again, and will think twice before I book an IHG property.

Staff took forever to clean room, done around 6pm. Male staff at desk was rude. Told staff about black cockroach in room on floor, I was told there in all the rooms. Gross and over priced.

The walls are paper thin. The people in the room next door sounded like they were in our room. No noise enforcement of quiet hours. Breakfast attendant, Mia, was delightful though.

Good location to downtown. Very strange floor plan of the hotel and our room. We booked a river view suite and the room we got was bad!! Don't stay in 508. It is nothing like what is shown in picture of a river view suite. Once you entered the room, there were 2 hallways you had to walk down to get to the small bed area and bathroom. There was a TV mounted on the wall of the hallway and a work desk at the end of the hall. Windows of the first hallway faced the river. Another hallway has windows that face the building next door that goes to the bed area. This room was built around the hotel's mechanical room. Not an open floor plan like what was shown in pictures.

Away trip with the wife. I have a new favorite hotel in Evansville. If possible get a corner room 209! The room was very large. You could actually put 2 more beds inside that room. Great friendly staff and good breakfast. I would pick this over any hotel in Evansville.

The room was very spacious! Everything was very clean! Breakfast was delicious, lots of options. The staff were extremely helpful. There is a $10 parking fee if you book with a third party. We had a top corner river view which was just gorgeous to see! Would definitely recommend staying to anyone. Plenty of things to do within walking distance as well!

The door to the room would not security lock. When we informed the desk clerk, they seemed unconcerned. Keep in mind the hotel was far from full and they could have/should have moved us.

The surrounding area was wonderful, nice walk along the river. Beautiful homes and building within walking distance. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was delicious with multiple choices. The negative, the staff, they were inattentive to our presence. Food would run out and when asked they responded with be out there soon. Worse, they may have had earbuds in, and at times they would just ignore our request and walk away. The person at the desk during check out was unfamiliar with their computer system and our reservation needs. I would say some training is needed.

i was "greeted" upon check in. after a long delayed flight the person at the front desk decided to tell me "finally, you are the last one to check in so now I dont have to do anything the rest of the night". A little unprofessional.
