The property was comfortable and clean. The pool and casual areas are really good and it is a very inviting location, close to all the Fremantle sites and venues. We could walk everywhere, so a car isn't required for local travels. Rottnest Ferry is nearby and again an easy walk to board. Lets also be very clear here, there is no off street parking, all local parking is metered/monitored, also noting the signs include "Road and Verge" parking, so the verge is not a safe haven. This doesn't take away from the property or location, rather clearly defines the parking arrangements set by the Freo Council. There is plenty of local/walkable day parking if a car is a must, but at a cost ($15.00 per day we found at the end of Arundle Street).

Was self check in so hassle free. Room was very clean & comfortable. Lovely big bathroom. Parking is on the street & is only free from 4:00pm-10am & apparently for 2 hours during the day. This wasn’t an issue for us as we were out with the car during the day but something to take into account. Also street was pretty busy for parking in the evening. You may not get a park directly outside accommodation.

We had a wonderful time at Maand Up. Our room was very well designed. The staff were very lovely. It was nice to be able to cool off in the pool. For the price, we would have liked complimentary breakfast or access to kitchen facilities either in our room or a shared one.

Great location, comfy bed, great shower and cute infinity pool. If you’re driving you’ll need to snag a spot on the nature strip at 2pm or park in the street after 6 and move it again before 8am.

Room was great and just a few blocks walk to all downtown restaurants and shopping. One thing to note is that the free parking is street parking, and it’s free after 4 pm but not during the day. I had no trouble finding parking on the street.

Lovely clean room, spacious. If out of hours and no swim towel ring number on the reception door . Easy access with combination number to get into room. Nice pool/ table/chairs. Careful with pool ladder as slippy Great location and value

Nice little hotel, pool area very relaxing and clean. Would perfect for a small group to have two rooms and enjoy the pool environment with food and drinks. Kit-Kats in the rooms are a nice touch.

Nice clean wasy access The aircon was leaking water on the carpet so we placed a bucket to stop water damage I hope the owners can correct this to minimise damages Overall was a nice venue thanks

I’ve stayed at this place a few times now. It’s in a great location, only a 5 minute walk to the main area of Fremantle. Theres a boutique bottle shop across the road and the plunge pool is beautiful after a hot day. Sadly though, the accommodation is looking a little run down and there’s an issue in room 2 with wall paint peeling and possible mould problem which isn’t good for someone with a compromised immune system.

Very nice accommodation. The only problem was the shower head would not stay up. It kept falling down and I couldn’t tighten it to stay in place. And then in the morning we had no hot water so had to have freezing cold showers!

Positives: Very good location within walking distance from Freo centre, quiet neighbourhood; free parking if scarce; spacious room, clean towels daily, good shower, quite well equipped kitchenette, excellent coffee amenities; good bed and decent linen and duvet Not so positive: Room worn, could do with updating; cleaning mediocre, floors filthy underneath the bed and sofa; air conditioner (heat pump) broke after first week - extra heater was provided next day; refrigerator overloaded circuit - icebox melted with water all over floor; soundproofing between rooms not great

The room itself was great. Nice bed, reasonable amount of room. However, we had no hot water. I contacted the mobile number on the door of reception via text to let them know, and also via Expedia. There is nobody on site to talk to about these issues. I have had no reply. (I sent the messages over 48 hours ago). Even just a “sorry about that” would be nice. So, it’s a nice place for a reasonable price, but there’s nobody to help you if something immediate needs to be done.

this place was absolutely lovely! close to everything in beautiful freo. however, the toilet was filthy and the other guests hogged the pool the whole time and were extremely loud. :( we stayed 2 nights and were not expecting our room to be cleaned. while we were during the day the cleaners threw out what they assumed was rubbish, but items we wanted to keep :(

This place was a real find. Walking distance from the centre now and bathers Beach now. Need the bed was incredibly comfortable and the real surprise was the big bathroom, double basins no, stand up shower and separate change area. I appreciated the tea and milk in the mini fridge the pool is great too, mindful, though I needed earplugs at night being a light sleeper. There is the constant hum of the pool filter white noise. Not this place is a fantastic alternative to a five star hotel now. Overall a perfect room for me.

The self check in was very easy and the property is well located. We parked on the street with no issues in the afternoon and walked around from there. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom was very big. The pool looked wonderful, we unfortunately forgot bathers so couldn’t enjoy it.

Stayed for one night after arriving from Perth airport on way to Margaret River in hire car. Found place easily and managed to park car ok (we were on Saturday night and Sunday when parking is free so not an issue - if at other times then may need to try and park on verge outside venue which is no guarantee. No check in per se - you get a message with code to enter your room which means it is very accessible if you are arriving at odd hours from the airport. Had everything we needed and was a short walk from the harbour and town centre. Would stay there again.

Great location within easy walking distance of Fremantle CBD, restaurants and the beach. Room was very comfortable. Door code provided by SMS so contactless. The only thing that would have been nice would be to have the coffee replensihed.

The apartment was well located to explore Fremantle Bay on foot, the room and especially bathroom were a good size. There was a minor issue at check in as we arrived later in the day and needed to call someone, but as international travellers did not have Australian phones. However, the hotels.com staff were incredible and quickly sorted the issue for us

Check in wasn’t open when we arrived at 14:30, there’s only a phone number on door, not good as an international traveler with only data access on phone. Parking ok, on the street but limited and time controlled. Room was good, clean tidy, with tea/coffee facilities. Bed was comfortable & shower room was clean & shower was excellent. Well lit pathways. We didn’t use the pool.
