I was skeptical when I arrived about 10:30pm and not 1 car in the parking lot. The banner said new rooms remodeled and the light was on in the office. Ladies of the evening were sitting along the curb although none approached. Night clerk was not overly friendly but not mean. I got my card and went up to my room. Initially I thought it looked OK but then I started looking and walls with no coverings and large holes in them. Whoever was doing the remodeling was not doing a very good job. The painting was horrible. Not consistent not covering and certainly not a clean edge. Bed looked clean and it was ok comfortable. Hard time figuring out the light switches. Totally exhausted after driving from Florida 10 hours so I was not going to change hotels. As I got out of the shower, I said to myself at least there are no roaches and open the bathroom door and 2 eyes were looking up at me from the floor. I quickly grab the few things i brought up and checked out. The rate was not much lower than the other hotels in the area. I will be a lot more picky next time I go through Charlotte.

There were hookers and people smoking crap pipes outside the hotel. The power also went out the last few hours of our stay. If you are a solo woman DO NOT STAY HERE. Once you get into the motel it’s fine, but there’s only one door and the check in area is secluded. It was clean and the bed were fine otherwise.

Property had people hanging outside at night one had a a pick or a srewdriver in her hand. Felt unsafe, garbage all over the ground. Stink bugs in the room and some other bug crawling on the floor, toilet seat was not bolted down, heater did not work, tub backed up and stuff came floating out of the drain.
