Wir haben 10 Tage Aufenthalt im Hotel im Januar genossen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem freundlichen Service unter Berücksichtigung, dass aufgrund der Jahreszeit der Service leicht eingeschränkt war, worüber wir aber informiert wurden. Es ist ein sehr romantisches Hotel in einer wundervollen Umgebung und einer Zufahrt meiner Träume. Es gibt ebenfalls genügend Parkplätze und eine funktionierende Ladestation für Elektroautos (3 phasig AC, mind. 11kW). Einziger Verbesserungspunkt in unserem Zimmer ist die Dusche, welche viel zu klein geraten ist. Man kann sich darin kaum drehen. Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

What a charming place. I just loved it! It is a dream! Lots of green areas, parking is a plus, the place is ancient, but is very well kept! The outside is so charming. The room was like... going back in time! So charming! The room had air conditioning, and the bathroom is great, quite new. Staff is extremely friendly. We had dinner there one night and food is fantastic. Their Chianti wine is so good! And the best was when I was leaving and Signore Antonio spend some precious minutes chatting with me about the history of this place, which was just incredible to hear. The place has 800+ years, but it is very well maintained. This is a beautiful hotel! I could not enjoy the beautiful swiming pool because it is November and it is chilly, and so the pool was closed. But it is a beautiful swiming pool. This place is only 10 minutes from Lucca and around 20 minutes from Pisa.

Schöne alte Villa, geschmackvolle Zimmer. Zwei kleine Monita: Die Zimmer haben etwas wenig Schränke, also muss man aus dem Koffer leben. Der Kaffeautomat beim Frühstück macht keinen guten Kaffee. Dafür ist die Lage sehr gut, 5min nach Lucca, 15 min nach Pisa. Das a la carte Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet, das Personal sehr freundlich. Der Pool ist ein Traum, mit ca 15m kann man da richtig schwimmen und es gibt für jeden ein Liege und einen Schirm. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

This was a beautiful property situated between Pisa and Lucca. It’s an older hotel but all of the amenities including air conditioning were good. Amazing pool area and loungers and you can run down to the lobby to get drinks and other snacks. We had a family room which had an upstairs with a king bed and downstairs there were two twin beds for the kids. Lots of good food options near by. Only negative was that the breakfast provided by the hotel wasn’t great in terms of quality or quantity of options available. They seemed to run out of things regularly and not be replaced.

Oerhört trevlig vinherrgård med 300 m till bussen till Pisa/Lucca så man kunde låta bilen stå. Buss är billigare än att parkera dessutom. En av de bästa restaurangerna under resan fanns på boendet och inom 10 min körning finns ytterligare trevliga restauranger. Ett stort plus för konstgräs runt poolen. Det blir fräschare. Vid busshållplatsen finns ett fantastiskt konditori med galateria. Rummen oerhört fräscha i gammal rustik stil. Stor frukostbuffe som även passar nordbor. Väldigt trevlig personal.

Villa Cheli was beautiful, we were sorry when we had to leave. We stayed 4 nights as part of a larger holiday and wish we'd had longer. The pool is a great size and there was never more than a few people around it. There was a good mix of people, adults and kids and lots of nationalities. The food in the restaurant was very high quality and buffet breakfast had loads of choices. The room was immaculate. It wasn't fancy, but that's not what we were expecting anyway. Nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were friendly and helped with booking taxis when we needed. There is a bus stop right at the end of the drive which is great - only 1.50 for a ticket into Lucca! And you have to visit Lucca - one of the best towns in Italy we've been to. We will definitely go back here.

Fantastiskt ställe!! Härliga rum och pool område. Bra avstånd til Lucca, med vil. Ca 10 minuter. Vi valde att äta utanför hotellet men menyn såg trevlig ut, Trevlig personal , men tyvärr en del kryp i filtarna på rummet.

Stayed in the the Junior suit with a balcony and beautiful view. The staff is so friendly and helpful like a big family! Typical Italian rustic style but very charming hotel. Lucca only about 8 minutes away by car. Will come back again! Breakfasts are the same every day which is a bit boring . We would like to have more options like a fruit salad / soft fruit and tomatoes and eggs to choose from. Other than that - lovely place to stay. Thank you all for looking after us . Barbara and Mark

There are much better hotels in this price class. Restaurant was not particularly good. Send back a couple of meals. The restaurant food didn’t seem very fresh which is highly unusual I this part of the world. The rooms were ok but dated, like I say better places to stay on this price class

Pretty place, Stefania went above and beyond to help us. Showers were too too small not even to move around and use hand held shower. Potentially this is a lovely hotel in a great position between Lucca and Pisa. However, several things spoil the overall charm. The lack of staff is apparent with the reception staff doing most jobs. Wir haben 10 Tage Aufenthalt im Hotel im Januar genossen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem freundlichen Service unter Berücksichtigung, dass aufgrund der Jahreszeit der Service leicht eingeschränkt war, worüber wir aber informiert wurden. During a 3 week road trip from London to Italy (& back) we’ve taken in quite a few hotels at various price brackets. For value & friendly service this hotel ranks highly. The pool is big enough so that even if there are families with young children in it, other adults can still enjoy a dip. All members of staff were very helpful & friendly. A beautiful spot for dinner at the top of the tree lined drive.

What a charming place. I just loved it! It is a dream! Lots of green areas, parking is a plus, the place is ancient, but is very well kept! The outside is so charming. The room was like... going back in time! So charming! The room had air conditioning, and the bathroom is great, quite new. Staff is extremely friendly. We had dinner there one night and food is fantastic. Their Chianti wine is so good! And the best was when I was leaving and Signore Antonio spend some precious minutes chatting with me about the history of this place, which was just incredible to hear. The place has 800+ years, but it is very well maintained. This is a beautiful hotel! I could not enjoy the beautiful swiming pool because it is November and it is chilly, and so the pool was closed. But it is a beautiful swiming pool. This place is only 10 minutes from Lucca and around 20 minutes from Pisa.

Este hotel es muy típico Toscana, es muy rústico lo cual en mi opinión lo hace único y precioso y es muy cerca de Luca ideal para ir en coche ya q tiene un parqueadero grande.

This was a beautiful property situated between Pisa and Lucca. It’s an older hotel but all of the amenities including air conditioning were good. Amazing pool area and loungers and you can run down to the lobby to get drinks and other snacks. Villa Cheli was beautiful, we were sorry when we had to leave. We stayed 4 nights as part of a larger holiday and wish we'd had longer. The pool is a great size and there was never more than a few people around it. There was a good mix of people, adults and kids and lots of nationalities. The food in the restaurant was very high quality and buffet breakfast had loads of choices. The room was immaculate. It wasn't fancy, but that's not what we were expecting anyway. Nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were friendly and helped with booking taxis when we needed. There is a bus stop right at the end of the drive which is great - only 1.50 for a ticket into Lucca! And you have to visit Lucca - one of the best towns in Italy we've been to. We will definitely go back here.

We had a very relaxing 1 night stay at this pretty spa-style hotel in the Tuscan hills. Disappointingly, the restaurant was closed forcing us to travel to a nearby town, but we had a great experience and excellent meal. Overall it was very pleasant, but quite expensive.

There are much better hotels in this price class. Restaurant was not particularly good. Send back a couple of meals. The restaurant food didn’t seem very fresh which is highly unusual I this part of the world. The rooms were ok but dated, like I say better places to stay on this price class

Pool was amazing. Dinner prepared by the chef was the best in Italy. The staff are so nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and contained a wide assortment of foods.

Schöne alte Villa, geschmackvolle Zimmer. Zwei kleine Monita: Die Zimmer haben etwas wenig Schränke, also muss man aus dem Koffer leben. Der Kaffeautomat beim Frühstück macht keinen guten Kaffee. Dafür ist die Lage sehr gut, 5min nach Lucca, 15 min nach Pisa. Das a la carte Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet, das Personal sehr freundlich. Der Pool ist ein Traum, mit ca 15m kann man da richtig schwimmen und es gibt für jeden ein Liege und einen Schirm. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Oerhört trevlig vinherrgård med 300 m till bussen till Pisa/Lucca så man kunde låta bilen stå. Buss är billigare än att parkera dessutom. En av de bästa restaurangerna under resan fanns på boendet och inom 10 min körning finns ytterligare trevliga restauranger. Ett stort plus för konstgräs runt poolen. Det blir fräschare. Vid busshållplatsen finns ett fantastiskt konditori med galateria. Rummen oerhört fräscha i gammal rustik stil. Stor frukostbuffe som även passar nordbor. Väldigt trevlig personal.

A fabulous property in beautiful peaceful location. It was the perfect start to our Italian holiday. A good base if arriving from Pisa and visiting Lucca before travelling to Tuscany. The pool was chilled and the outdoor restaurant in the evening was perfect. Lovely and extremely helpful staff. Highly recommended if you have a car.

The hotel is in a great spot, far enough away from Lucca to feel you're in the countryside, but still easy to get into town. There's a lovely Bar-Pasticceria a short walk away, and you can go for quite long walk in the grounds then up into the hills. Breakfast was very good. And the staff were helpful. They do have events at the hotel, but the rooms have good sound insulation, so I still slept very well.
