Great hotel option in the Fayette city limits. Prices are reasonable and the hotel is kept very well. The free breakfast is really good. Love the indoor pool and hot tub and it is very convenient next to the convenience station where you can get different food and drink options as well as gasoline. I did not see an electric car charger just as an FYI so if you are traveling in an electric car, you may want to find a charging station ahead of your travels.

This place was beautiful with a really nice lobby area to visit and a big pool and hot tub! The staff was amazing and super helpful. My only recommendations for upgrades would be an elevator and vent fans in the showers but otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Great local option for the Fayette area. The hotel staff is so friendly and very helpful. Loved taking advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub and it was very nice to have the bar/ lunge off the lobby.

Lobby, dining and lounge were all new ce. The staff was friendly. The room not so much. The toilet had urine and hair on the seat, the towels were wet, the room smelled musty. Luckily we were only there for one night.

The check in was great as the gentleman at desk was very professional and friendly. I travel weekly for my job and first thing I do is look at the sheets. One of the beds had a dirty sheet with a spot. When I called the front desk someone came and changed them.

Since this was the only motel in the area, we had little choice. Image my surprise when we found it comfortable, clean and the help great. I used the hot tub - great. Pool looked wonderful and really big. Games were provided around the pool, puzzles and library books in the lobby. Beds were comfortable. The ONLY thing I would comment on was the shower curtain needed to be replaced. Would I stay there again if I ever am in the area - sure would.

It was a good stay. The breakfast had a lot to be desired for. When I got into my room i pulled back the blanket to find a pillow with brown droplets on the pillow case and my only conclusion is it was blood.

We were staying there for a friend’s wedding and it did the job. It’s the nicest hotel in that area. Everything was great the only two things I would’ve changed is that the beds were very bouncy and the curtain for the window was too short so it didn’t do a great job at blocking out the light.

Beautiful hotel, quiet location, and wonderful staff. However, the air conditioner in our room could not keep up (yes, it was in the 90's outside during our stay but our room was probably in the low to mid-80's, even overnight when it cooled outside) and the bed was extremely soft. Some travelers may enjoy that, but it was definitely not comfortable for me.

My granddaughter and I stayed at Boarders for a week. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we had nothing but positive experiences. It has a country atmosphere, it's cozy, and everyone was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Boarders as a place to stay while visiting Iowa. A big shout out to Daryll who was at the front desk when we checked in and for several of the evenings when we came back to our room in the evening. Daryll was always helpful and pleasant.

The manager was amazing! He opened the bar for us and waited on us promptly! When guests came in the front door he helped them immediately! He is very good at his job and went above snd beyond to make sure we had a great stay!

Upset that we paid to stay, not because of the hotel but we went for a College Visit and the town has nothing and knew our son would not attend that University.
