Lovely hotel, nice breakfast. Small but comfortable rooms. Disappointed that they don’t have the parking that they advertise at least not for us. We had to pay to park down the street. There was a wine festival in town that was recommended by Toby at the front desk which was a great recommendation. He was especially helpful and considerate in answering our questions. The hotel is close to the old town just a short walk.

L'hôtel est proche du centre-ville (quelques minutes à pieds) en très bon état, l'accueil y est bien, mais.. si vous venez en voiture vous devrez libérer la place de parking pour 12:00, je n'avais pas compris ceci (l'allemand n'est pas ma langue maternelle) et je disposais d'un late check out à 15:00... bref j'ai dû payer 10 euros de plus pour 1h45.. c'est le premier hôtel ou je dois libérer une place de parking avant de rendre ma chambre... et cela n'est pas indiqué lors de la réservation sur hotels.com. dommage

This hotel was great! We could not park in their garage but there was a fantastic garage just around the corner. The room was very nice and comfortable and the whole hotel feels new. The location is also great, just a very short walk to the center.

Really nice hotel. Great location next to train station and buses, easy walking distance to city centre. Staff were lovely and allowed me to work from the lounge the following day aftee I checked out with no fuss. Breakfast is served but as far as I could tell, not lunch or dinner. I don't think there is room service either. But there are restaurants and takeaways close by.

Die Zimmer sind eigentlich für zwei Personen viel zu klein. Es ist nicht möglich zwei Bordcase öffnen und geöfnet lassen. Wenn Sie mit dem Wagen anreisen wollen, überlegen Sie es gut!! Es gibt keine Parkmöglichkeit, nur 4 Plätze, aber sie sind irgendwie immer ausgebucht. . Parken rundum das Hotel niergends, nur gegen Gerbühr, 3,50E/Std., möglich. Dafür kann das Hotel aber nicht..Freiburg ist die AUTOFEINDLICHSTE Stadt, was ich bisher erlebt habe. (40 Jahre im Außendienst.)

Very clean, beautiful and quiet boutique hotel! Rooms are nicely designed, a good size. Bathrooms are clean, the showers are a bit tricky b/c the glass wall is not wide so you have to watch how much you splash outside the area but it is tiled very well. There are mini bottles of personal items and a hair dryer. The staff are beautiful people and friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast once, very good. I wish there was an option to get a quick complimentary coffee when someone isn't in the mood or has no time for breakfast, like most hotels. But a 5 minute walk will take you to cafe options nearby. It is about a 7 minute walk to the Altstadt, which is fine. If you want to be directly in the Altstadt, I recommend looking for another hotel but we like being away from noisy streets, although the Altstadt doesn't seem too noisy late at night. There is a quick elevator in this hotel and great curtains and automatic metal shutters for good room darkening. Beds are comfortable. Our only complaint is the wifi.... it is TERRIBLE. If you need good wifi for work purposes or other, don't book here. We had to often try different times of day to get anything to load (travel ideas, social media, etc)

Used this hotel as a stop over on our way to Switzerland. Hotel is near the town centre which you need to get an evening meal. Breakfast was !2 Euros each extra and was very fresh but not a huge choice. Very clean, friendly staff. Room was quite small but bathroom was lovely.

Quiet boutique hotel in Freiburg, close to the old city centre, which is easily accessible on foot. We adjusted our booking so only got to experience a twin room (we had a double room previously). The room was very small, but clean. The single bed was comfortable, but the pillow was not. We had breakfast included; they don't have a good selection but then it is a small hotel. The property itself is great, with a cosy study where we had hot chocolate and relaxed after a day of exploration.

Modernes Hotel, Altstadt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klein, aber fein. Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht, bekommen haben wir ein 140cm Bett. Die Matratze war nicht ausgelegt für 2 Personen, da waren Rückenschmerzen vorprogrammiert. Leider haben wir das Hotel bzw. Zimmer als sehr hellhörig empfunden. Wir haben jeden Gast das Treppenhaus hoch und runter laufen hören, ebenso wie jeden Schritt über unserem Stockwerk - vor allem nachts. Das hat dazu geführt, dass wir wenig bis kaum Schlaf hatten. An erholsamen Schlaf war also nicht zu denken.

Schön renoviertes Hotel, stadtnah, Fenster lässt sich öffnen, Verdunkelungsvorhang, Safe. Bett war 1.40, eher klein. Kissen konnten gewechselt/dazubestellt werden. Dusche hatte nur eine Glasscheibe (kein Vorhang o Schiebetüre)…nach dem Duschen war der ganze Boden nass. Das müsste man unbedingt ändern.
