Apollo Inn - Cocoa

This is an old motel that has had some renovations to the room. Owner was super nice and friendly. Basic motel. Nothing extra, but I had a bathroom and a bed. Very clean and basic. Good room if you just need a place to shower and rest your head.

Some thought went into making sure that everything was provided. Large room with enough space for the two twin beds and a sofa. Convenient place to stay away from the more expensive beach area of Cocoa Beach. Staff was super friendly and called to make sure we would be welcomed on arrival.

It was no frills clean and reasonable

Hotel was very clean. Service was OK. If you need a quick affordable night with no amenities, this place works. Perfect for quick access to port Canaveral.

We needed a place to stay for one night before our cruise. We didn’t need anything fancy, but also can’t put up with the mildew/cleaner smells associated with “cheaper” places. After reading the reviews here we decided to give it a shot. It was really neat staying in a motel-style place. Haven’t done that in years!!! The property is very well-kept. The room was very clean. It’s quaint, but did what we needed for a night. The highlight was the owners. Talk about sweet people who really want your stay to be great. She even calls you on your phone after you’re in your room to make sure everything is good. We will definitely stay here again for our next cruise. It was only 10 mins or less from the park and cruise facility.

Very clean, attractive, classic Florida, updated, nice shower, comfortable bed. 10 minutes to cruise ship parking.

This is an “old school” style motel and was PERFECT for our “pre-cruise” stay. No steps or elevators….just pull up to your front door. The room was VERY clean with a nicely updated bathroom. It had a little refrigerator and microwave and nice TV, but we didn’t have time to watch. We watched a shuttle liftoff from the front lawn! The beds were very comfy too. The hosts/owners/managers were FABULOUS! We will stay there again.

The owner was very helpful when I wanted to upgrade to the larger room. She even stopped by to make sure I liked it and if I needed anything else. It’s a single layer so it’s great for elderly people too. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed.

Quick check in. Overnight stay before boarding cruise. Exactly what we needed. No frills but clean and quiet. Great Bbq just up the road which was a plus!

My wife and I were so pleased with our stay at the Apollo Inn. The room was clean and the property was quiet. We were in town to watch a couple of rocket launches and the Apollo Inn was a very convenient location to the viewing spots. We will definitely be back.

House keeping really keeps this hotel clean and fresh. The grounds are very clean and manicured. The text from the front office after we left thanking us for staying with them was a very nice touch as well.

Receptionist and probably owner was extremely helpful in adding an additional night to our stay with a 5am check in. Rooms have no carpet which is a thumbs up for me and the floor was very clean.

Room was squeaky clean. Very little road noise. Our only complaint was that the heatAC fan ran only on high speed which was a bit annoying during the night, but at least it cycled on and off. I would highly recommend this motel.

Don't let looks deceive you!!! This room was absolutely lovely!! The room was so nice for the price! The bed was comfortable, the shower and bathroom were completely spotless. The sheets smelled like fresh linen. What can I say I really appreciated all the work they put into the motel!!

This is a nice remodel of an old motel. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom was very small and confined. But it and the room were very clean. Easy check in and out.

Room suited my needs. Would prefer sink and counter outside of bathroom. Quieter than other last hotel where I stayed

Very nice old Florida style motel renovation. The air conditioner unit is very loud on or off style. There was a $20 charge added on top of the Expedia price.

This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. Updated rooms and very clean. The staff was very accommodating. The satellite for our tv wasn’t working so they responded right away and when they couldn’t get it to work they switched our rooms. Highly recommend.

Our flight was delayed so we were there only about 7 hours but the managers were very friendly and were nice about the 2 am check in.

The sign at the check in window actually ends with “stay somewhere else.” I should have taken their own advice. Anywhere else it’s a $50 room at best but it was where I had to be that day. Plus, the photos they posted looked nice enough (making me wonder where they were taken!’ I had to go find a housekeeper to check me in because no one ever answered the buzzer. With linens from the Walmart polyester collection and a grand total two, count ‘em, two small towels, it would have been a disappointing college dorm room. However, there was a nice plastic yard chair in the room if you were having company. I was so disgusted, I drove on another hour and didn’t ever sleep there! Of course, they are keeping the $270 (!) so they can buy a second plastic lawn chair when they upgrade the room. Calling this a dump would be an insult to landfills.

I reserved 2 double beds for $207 before arriving. I chose "pay at property" so i could pay w cash. I used a valid credit card to hold the reservation bc if it wasn't valid the reservation wouldn't have been possible. I got on a flight from Utah to Florida with two children at about 1 pm and arrived about 7:30. The hotel texted me and said they canceled my reservation bc my card doesn't work & said tried to contact me but I wouldn't answer my phone. Well #1 why are you charging my card and #2 i was on an airplane. The app, hotels.com, where I booked the room told me to call the motel they still had my room. I did and the woman I spoke to said she didn't have my room but she had a room with 1 King bed for $285. She would hold it for a credit card #. I gave her the same # that she said didn't work originally bc its totally valid. Although I was thoroughly annoyed, I looked for another hotel/motel and every place is totally booked...no vacancy anywhere. Its after dark and im in an unfamiliar place so I didn't have much of a choice. The motel lady called me again while I was on my way to make sure I was still coming...really? You obviously have my credit card # that didn't work, right!?! I arrived and she took my card and came back with a receipt showing $325. So, she cancelled my 2 double bed room for $207 and switched it for 1 King for $325 and never once was she given a different card # than the original one that was always valid.

Check in was easy, as there is a manned desk 24/7. Owner called us directly 30 minutes after we checked in, asking if everything was ok, and it was. We didn't expext this, but our rooms were refreshed daily! Definitely would stay here again!

Very convenient to where I go to watch rocket launches. Needed an overnight stay and this place had a reasonable price, good location, and good previous reviews. This was a great place to stay. Room was very clean and well equipped. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again next time my plans call for it.
