Pool & pickleball if you should choose. Close to public beaches and attractions. Hop, skip and a jump to Key West. Friendly, helpful staff. We’ll be back!

Clean rooms. Amazing staff. Great amenities such as kayaks, bicycles, boat ramp and dock slips. Pool was clean and inviting. Only small iguanas and curly tailed lizards. No wildlife that was obnoxious. Kitchen was stocked perfect for the two of us

This property was super clean. Very quiet. Has a laundry facilitry. The price was reasonable.

Very clean motel! Rooms were big and the property had a pickleball court, pool, tiki hut by the docks and lots of chairs and umbrellas to relax in the shade by the lagoon. We could use kayaks for free.

We loved it there. Rooms were nice. Had everything we needed. The kids loved using the free bikes, kayaks, and fishing poles. Pool was great. View out back was nice

Boat launch is right there with people idling their trucks for hours at 5am

This little motel is quiet, clean and safe. We stayed in the motel part which had a kitchen area. There are also other accommodation options available like a floating houseboat, cabins and RV spots. There’s a dock to fish from, a pool, pickle ball court, kayaks and bicycles for use. They also have BBQ grills available. There’s about a 5 mile walking path within about a 1/4 of a mile of the property, also state parks, and many activities close by. We loved the chill atmosphere. The Bonefish is highly recommended.

The property is nice, clean and easy to get around. However if you bring a boat with you they charge you to keep it on your trailer, $25 per night, or if you keep it at the dock, $50 per night. This is not listed anywhere on the website that would be clear and obvious. I was only told at check in, even though I called when I booked the stay back in the spring and told them I was bringing a boat with me. The resort is nice and clean and I do recommend staying there for a reasonable priced stay right near the airport and Marathon key

A small but wonderful hotel. Check in was easy. They have a nice pool, pickle ball court and a boat ramp. We would definitely stay here again!

The grounds of the property were pretty nice- an area to sit by the water, a pool that was clean, easy parking. But the motel is old and everything seems kind of run-down and in need of renovation. The sheets were pilled, no hot water in shower, baseboards moldy/warped, bed uncomfortable. Upon arrival, the room had a very strong scent like something perfumy had been sprayed around. After a day, that went away and there was a slight musty smell. One night I used the restroom at 2am and saw roaches scurry under the baseboards. This place is overpriced for what it is. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere better.

The room is infected with bed bugs, im itching very bad with multiple bumps and have to go to the doctor

Room smelled of mold

It’s a cute little place that has everything you need for your stay. Full sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker, comfy bed, free use of bikes and kayaks - with launching area access on property. One of the things that was unbearable was a strong scent of cleaning agents. Smelled like a super strong perfume. We couldn’t air it out and leave the door or windows open while we slept. But what ruined it all, was when I was warming up my tea and baby roaches started to come out of the bottom microwave. At that point, we had repack what we just unpacked and zipped up all of our luggage/bags, put away any snacks- in fear of roach hitchhikers. And slept with the lights on, since we didn’t know where else roaches would come out of. Then while using the restroom, a roach crawls out of the baseboard. In the morning, we notified the lady at the office. She was in disbelief that there are roaches. Because she said the exterminator comes every week for roach maintenance. Then when I mentioned about the overpowering perfume like smell in the room, again she was in disbelief, she spoke over me and said they don’t use anything. No apologies or acknowledgment or our concerns. I don’t like to complain about unnecessary stuff but being a business owner, I think about the business’ owner as well. It’s good to have feedback and know what improvements can be made -so clients have a great experience and refer more business. In this case, feedbacks were not welcomed.

We had a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The room was very clean and comfortable. The a/c had a remote control and was very easy to use.

Everything was great. We stayed for one night! The check in process couldn’t be easier… they had the key ready for me to pick up! The room was very clean, the towels and sheets smelled amazing. Great place! Would stay again.

The place is always impeccably clean. And its super cute as well!

The hotel room was full of mold. I almost threw up upon entering the room. I got a new room but it was alittle better

This place was very nice and clean. Very safe and perfect little paradise!

I could walk our doggies right from our room to the waterfront. We watched the sunrise each morning from our balcony.

We liked the access to the canal and the dock in the morning for sunrise. The photos do not display the full RV park, with very large RV's that fills the parking lot. It took us back when we arrived. To get to the dock, and canal, we walked by at least 10 RV's. The room was comfortable, a fan would be a lovely addition, as the AC is loud.

We booked last minute for two nights. The room was large, very spacious. Bed was super comfy. Large fridge, microwave, Keurig. Lady in reception was very informative. Nice pool, there's bike riding, tennis and a few other things I've forgotten. BBQ's are available for use. Public grocery store a couple of miles away. A nice mid-way point in the Keys.

Room was very clean and spacious. Couple restaurant/bars are walking distance. Pool is a bit dated and water pressure was not great but the shower was fine. Sombrero beach is a 5-10 minute drive away. I would definitely stay here again if/when we go back to the FL Keys!

The stay was great! The area was amazing, the price point was very good, and the facilities were good. The property manager was excellent, helpful and extremely nice. They have free paddle boards and kayaks which you can use the canal to paddle up to the Curry Hammock Park. The room was a little out dated and the WiFi was spotty or it would have been all 5’s.

Nice property by the water. Outside of building is pleasant, onsite property management is nice. Pool super clean. When I booked, I was on the second floor but was put in lower floor. Family above let their kids start running at 6 am, probably the same family whose kids were cooking in the room and set off all the fire alarms. Beds are really soft, so if you have back issues. Insect repellent plugin had two cockroach babies keeping themselves warm behind it.

It was clean and lovely, but the pillows were like boulders and the mattress was like a cinderblock. It was very uncomfortable for both of us.

Double charged me and were very unresponsive when I reached out to resolve this issue.

I go to this hotel every year and never had a problem till this year. I booked a 2 bedroom. But when I arrive they tell me they don’t have my 2 bedroom available. And paid the same price for a one bed. And had 2 grown men bunking in that room for 3 days. Hopefully next year I do not have same problem. If so I will be taking my buisness somewhere else

The check in/checkout out was easy and the staff was very helpful and cordial.

Nice cute place. Water heater wasn’t working at first but they came and fixed super fast. Bed is a little stiffer mattress.

Booked 3 rooms 2 beds in February. To arrive in June and told they didn’t have a 2 bed available. They booked it to someone else. Then charged me same price for 1 bed. Been going to the same hotel for 5 years and if this happens again I will not go back!

The staff was very friendly and check in/out was quick. The room was spacious and clean. The property is on the water and we enjoyed taking in the views from the dock chairs

We had a nice stay. We were looking for a clean, conveniently located place to sleep while touring the Keys, and this fit the bill. Friendly and attentive staff, and very clean. It is easy to drive past it, be careful to go slow when you get close.

Don’t let the word “motel” scare you off from this property. Bonefish Bay was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Very convenient location with a great view of the water.

What a great place to stay in Marathon! The room was perfect and so was the location. It was peaceful and quiet and a great property to walk around. I highly recommend it.

Bonefish is in a great location for exploring the Keys. Our room was very clean and the staff was super friendly. We enjoyed walks down to the water and even kayaked from there one day. We enjoyed our stay!

Clean, comfortable, well maintained. No breakfast, no bar which was fine for us. Pool is nice. We will stay again on our next trip to Key West. Great value.

The property is clean. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is clean. It quiet, safe, and affordable. There is Krueger coffee in the room which is nice. Bring some shrimp to fish around there. Checking in late was good too.

Staff welcoming. Everything excellent except additional charge for resort fee especially when it was raining. Recommend nearby seafood restaurant in Marathon, Florida Keys Steak and Lobster House.
