Elea Resort - Adults Only

Really lovely place to stay. We had a great holiday. We had the superior executive suite and it had a really nice view of the amazing sunset from the terrace which also had a hot tub. Despite reading other reviews where people had said the hot tubs weren’t hot enough, ours really was. The staff are lovely and there’s always someone in reception to help or there to answer the phone to bring you anything you need. The included breakfast is brought to your room each morning and is really nice. There’s food and drinks to buy by the pool too and the food is really good. The main pool and infinity pool were really cold. The hotel is just 9 mins walk into the centre of Oia so located well. However I will say walking up and down the hill each day is not for the faint hearted but there is a car rental place at the top of the hill and I’d advise renting one if you can just for the hill. Definitely got our steps in this holiday. I brought sandals with me but had to wear trainers every day. I would recommend this place to others as we were very satisfied with everything.

A truly wonderful stay for our family group of 12. We travel often, and this is easily one of the most beautiful properties we’ve experienced. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, our room was spotless and ready, with thoughtful touches like complimentary tea, coffee, towels, and even wine and fruit waiting for us after an evening out. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, offering great restaurant recommendations and even providing directions with a map, which made exploring so easy. The hot tub and pool were a real bonus and added to the overall relaxation. Breakfast was a highlight too, a generous spread of fresh fruit, pastries, cheese, tea, coffee, juices… the list goes on! The only small thing to note is to watch your head on the curved ceiling, but it certainly didn’t take away from an otherwise perfect stay. We’d happily return and highly recommend it.

Hotel arranged airport pick up and driver was so welcoming. Thank you. We arrived early and it was explained our room wouldn’t be available for a while. Shown to an area to get fresh clothing out of case and then left luggage at reception. Some really good “must visit” advice from Magherita in reception as well as the transfer at the end of stay booked to airport. Also breakfast booked for delivery to suite each morning. I am Gluten Free and this wouldn’t be an issue. Headed into Fira, the capital city, by bus and then returned to our room later in afternoon, which was ready. We had an early start so stayed in hotel for dinner and met the star of the resort - George. Such a busy yet courteous guy. Always friendly and welcoming. As mentioned I am gluten free so always a concern when ordering dinner. We managed our way through this and I had the beef, prawn and chicken skewers. Suite was really nice, well finished with a TV, minibar and safe. Also a good sized shower room as well as a bright sleeping / living area. We also had our own hot tub in our patio area and outside loungers with table, and dining table and chairs. Breakfast was delivered by George to our room. Wow - such a spread and so tasty. The hotel had only “opened” a couple of days previously, and whilst there was still some snagging ongoing, it didn’t take away from the quiet atmosphere that surrounded it. There are 2 pool areas, one larger one and one infinity pool. Plenty of beds. Staff superb.

Staff are polite and respectful. The location of this resort is beautiful. Mesmerizing sunset! Calm and peaceful environment. Really enjoyed it.

Friendly staff. Short walk to shops and food. Beautiful view.
