This place was great. Easy check in. 2 minute walk to the river of lights show. The host was super friendly. You even get a free drink of your choice at the bar and he makes yummy martinis. It was comfortable and perfect for our stay.

We always love staying at this hotel when traveling with our grand kids because they LOVE the bunk beds. The only downfall to our recent visit was that there was absolutely no parking so we had to park at a neighboring hotel. I was told there was a wedding party celebration or something at their lounge so they were taking some of the parking spaces. It would make more sense to ensure that the hotel guests who paid over

We were there for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and this hotel was the perfect location to base out of for the week.Easy in and out access by car to get to Old Town and local restaurants...walking distance to several great breakfast spots. Newly remodeled with a fabulous lobby bar and outside areas. Staff was friendly and fabulous! Smaller hotel so minimal people noise.

Cool and funky-in-a-good-way motel on Rte. 66. Nice lounge for checking in or hanging out. Great service, Jessica was especially lovely and helpful! Pool was a nice feature. Large clean rooms with a wonderful shower although I don’t get not having a door on it, water went all over the bathroom floor… I’d stay here again!

Our room was great. The motel is within walking distance of restaurants and old town. The property has an outdoor lounge area by the on-site cocktail lounge that the motel guests used after hours both nights we stayed. The outdoor parties lasted until 3am. If you stay here, ask for a room in the back by the pool.

This was the most darling little motel. It was so cozy and comfortable and only a short walk to old town. There is laundry available along with a nice pool. We have nothing but nice things to say about the hotel. The neighborhood is a mixed area with nice renovated motels and old town shopping and restaurants but also some run down shady stuff. We walked everywhere and never felt unsafe though.

The staff was very friendly. The major ding for this property is that the room was not cleaned. We found a thong from a previous guest in our bed. the bottom sheet was not tucked in all the way which is why we looked in the first place. We took pictures and brought them to the front desk. They did put us in another room and told us the manager would contact us the next day. The manager never followed up. If the manager would have followed up, I would not have given a bad review.

We stayed here two different nights during our recent vacation. Our first room was absolutely great. On our second stay we had a different room and had more issues with the cleanliness of the room, disrepair of the shower, curtains were not clean, walls had many smudges and a foul order from the sink. We will stay again because the first night was great. They have a small lounge with live music and a bar which we really really enjoyed.

Very nice remodeled / retro motel. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Felt safe in area. Within walking distance to Old Town. All staff was friendly. Bar area on site was fun and friendly as well. Have nice patio areas too. Would recommend staying here!

Upon entering the room was dirty, shower had left over hair in it from previous person staying. No soap in bathroom sink, no shampoo or conditioner. The shower also leaked a good amount onto the floor. The mini fridge leaked all over carpet and some clothes.

The hotel was very nice, and the room was large with a comfortable bed. Initially the Wi-Fi was not working, but the front office reset the router and all was fine afterwards. The main issue is the neighborhood was a little sketchy and I would not walk around there at night. In the daytime it was fine; it is about a 15 minute walk to the Old Town Plaza.

Cons: If you're given room 19, find another hotel! It is literally on the street, and between the roaring traffic noise and the music played just across the driveway, it sounds like you're in a nightclub on a traffic median. I can not stress this enough-It. Is. LOUD. There is not enough parking, so if you get there past about 9pm expect to wait for a parking spot. Pros: really cute, updated motel on Route 66 very close to Old Town. GREAT bed!

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was due to the pool and the whole time the pool was closed due to maintenance. This was disappointing since it was beautiful out both days. The rooms were nice and clean. We didn't like the showers. They had no doors and the water would spray all over the floor.

Renovation of a classic rote 66 hotel was great. There were a few things that were problematic. No WiFi. We called the manager who tried to fix the WiFi problem by resetting the router. It didn't work. We were then told it didn't work because too many people were using the system. That was B.S. Prior customer reviews show this is a recurring problem. Update your system! It's not too much to expect WiFi at a motel. The other issue is that no information was provided about the amenities offered, emergency contact or how to check out

We unexpectedly arrived very late on Sunday evening. I messaged ahead to the hotel to alert them, but did not hear back. When we got to the hotel, there was no parking to speak of. The only spot available was the handicapped spot. I had difficulty getting the office to answer and we ended up driving around a couple times before we realized where it was, check in person was very pleasant but when we tried to get back to the office to let them know, the parking dilemma I couldn’t get any answer was very nice otherwise and the housekeeping staffed an outstanding job. Very nice lounge available as well.

This is the only time that a motel did not honor my confirmed booking. I was informed on the day I arrived that I would need to move across town to another motel in the middle of my 4 night stay because the motel had received a big contract to host an event. This did not work for me because I chose the hotel based on location since it was within walking distance of a conference I was attending. I informed the staff that I was not happy and they said Oh well. I would not stay there again. I feel their business practices are unethical.

This could be a really cool hotel, but unfortunately, the service just didn't work out. Front desk was very friendly but not too helpful. Called the manager about lack of internet and NEVER received a return call - over a 3 day period. Anyway - if you don't need TV/internet or good service, it's a cool hotel.

Having stayed at both properties now El Vado and here, the work and pride they have put into Restoring some Rt 66 Americana is evident. Vintage looks,modern fee. Staff was great and welcoming and location was perfect.

Excellent property. Good little pool, very quiet, fair price, good bed and pillows, very clean, friendly staff, and beautifully renovated - attractive - great for a couple. Slept well and great location- few minutes walk away from downtown and restaurants. Very safe. Highly recommended! A 10!

Loved this cute historic route 66 motel.. Renovations are modern, room was spacious with a living area and the most comfortable bed. A couple of observations, the bathroom floor sounding like cracking when walking on it. May be due to water damage under the flooring. Loved the walk in shower but water does get on floor. The area is walkable to Old Town Alburquerque and the River park. The complimentory glass of wine at check in was unexpected, and appreciated. Olivia was very knowledgeable of the area.Wish we had more time to explore Alburquerque. Will stay here again

The room was good with a comfortable bed and plenty of amenities. There was not adequate parking. We had to park on a street behind the motel with no security .The neighborhood itself withinbwalking distance of Old Town seemed to be in decline. It V was nousy after 9 pmbon a weeknight. Central Avenue was used as a racing streetc.

Cute older motel with updated rooms but it's on a very busy street where you can hear the traffic well into the night. Beds are extremely soft along with the pillows so there is no support at all. It would be nice to have 1 firm & 1 soft pillow instead of just sinking into a cloud. Would we stay again? Probably not but for the price it was decent.

This was the most darling little motel. It was so cozy and comfortable and only a short walk to old town. There is laundry available along with a nice pool. We have nothing but nice things to say about the hotel. The neighborhood is a mixed area with nice renovated motels and old town shopping and restaurants but also some run down shady stuff. We walked everywhere and never felt unsafe though.

This place was great. Easy check in. 2 minute walk to the river of lights show. The host was super friendly. You even get a free drink of your choice at the bar and he makes yummy martinis. It was comfortable and perfect for our stay.

We stayed here two different nights during our recent vacation. Our first room was absolutely great. On our second stay we had a different room and had more issues with the cleanliness of the room, disrepair of the shower, curtains were not clean, walls had many smudges and a foul order from the sink. We will stay again because the first night was great. They have a small lounge with live music and a bar which we really really enjoyed.

Love to stay at this Motel, the cleanliness is fantastic, but the staff is a little like talking to a cold fish. The individual that checked us in was great , everyone after that was just cold and blatantly rude. pool was clean, room was clean, parking lot was clean.
