Montclair at Zion

Pros: they clearly just remodeled everything. Rooms were clean overall. Cons: There is no front desk and horrible communication. We were not told that they were remodeling when we booked. The night before we were messaged that the pool and hot tub were not going to be available for our entire stay. This was one of the things that caused us to book here because my daughter loves to swim outside after hiking. The only thing they offered was that we could cancel our reservation. With less than a day's notice, there was no way to do this. Everything was booked or crazy expensive. We were given a room that had no parking anywhere near it, and my husband was on crutches. We had to drag our bags and my husband a long distance to get to the room. Again, with no front desk, I had no way to deal with this in a timely manner. When I would text, I'd get an auto response that was wrong half the time, then an hour later I'd get a real response. The morning we went to check out, I followed the instructions to get ice and water for our water bottles and cooler, but the room was locked and the construction workers said the machine wasn't plugged in yet. I texted for help. It said to go to another building. I did. Walked all the way around the building. Couldn't get in. We were late to our destination because I spent 20 minutes trying to get ice. Finally, an hour later, after we left and had to buy ice and water elsewhere, I got a text saying they could bring some ice to me on 20 minutes.

This place was amazing, cleanest place I have stayed at in, in years. Great parking, the Zion bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. They have a large pool, as well as a few washer dryers if needed. The staff was great to deal with and very helpful.

This place is a gem. Loved the easy access with door code, beautiful pool and hot tub.

The room was really comfortable. The bed was super soft and we slept great. We loved having the couch, microwave, and refrigerator for the extra days because we ate breakfast in the room. We also used the pool after spending time in Zion which was relaxing. Compared to other rooms in the area this was cheaper and just as good quality in my opinion.

Pool & hot tub are great! Super close to the Zion National park entrance. Also, there is a shuttle stop right in front of this property that you can take into the park. The only thing that was wrong was we couldn’t find the remote to turn the volume down on the tv! Other than that bed comfortable & clean room. Restaurants within walking distance.i would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay at this hotel was perfect . We had jam packed days of hiking and biking so it was nice to come back to a place with a pool and spa to relax under the stars after a long day . The staff was super friendly . The hotel has digital access to all its amenities so make sure you read all of the information in your emails so your trip starts off easy . If you have trouble the staff was super quick to get to you . You might have to wait a few minutes but the views are amazing from this hotel . This hotel has a laundry room available for a very reasonable price and for the price of the stay of 3 days it was a great price . Our family loves Zion and will be back .

There was nothing unique about the property. It was 1/2 under remodeling construction, the pool or hot tub were not open. It is stated that the pool and hot tub do not open until May 1. Small issue with the TV, but that was resolved. It was a little strange having to communicate with the management via text message. This causes delays in response to problems and makes it feel like a self-service motel.

Our room was clean, newly refurbished, and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay. Check in was simple and seamless. The parking was so nice to have before and after we checked out. It meant we got an extra day in the park. We will Absolutely come back.

The property is outdated . The towels were clean but very worn out. it was a weird smell in the room although it was clean.

Super clean, lovely exterior (gardens, nice lighting etc), the room was packed with nice touches (extra pillows and blankets, bottles of water, nice coffee machine, sofa), the bed was extremely comfy and all round it was a thoroughly lovely stay.

For a price of 250 per night, i would have expected more. The room had a smell, the bed sheets smelled like Vicks caper rum, maybe it was not properly washed from the prior customer. There is no customer service on site. Overall just not worth the price. Oh and the towels were very old. Just not a clean feeling.

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms. It was super clean and very well maintained. Easy access to get in and out and check in and check out were a breeze. Will definitely be staying here again!

Very clean, comfortable room and right at Shuttle Stop #7 which made it very easy to get to Zion NP without having to drive.

I really liked the room. It was modern and spacious. There was extra room and extra floor space if you came with extra hiking gear and luggage. I also liked the sofa facing the TV complete with ottomans. There was no desk chair and no closet but rather a coatrack. It was attuned to a casual vacationer rather than a business traveler. I could open the window to ventilate the room with the mild fresh air. The bathroom was modern and elegant. The bed was luxurious. I suspect the mattress is pretty new.

Loved the spacious room, decor and cleanliness. Would definitely stay here again!

No dresser or closet hanging

Our room at the Montclair at Zion was very clean, modern, and had nice bright room lighting if we wanted it. Liked the sofa and the Roku TV. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. We only used the little kitchenette to make coffee in the morning with the Nespresso machine. Yumm. I didn’t know they had contactless check-in before I booked the room, and later read a couple reviews about guests having some issues with it. We had no trouble. The management sent detailed texts and emails about the protocols and the entry code. While traveling in the area, cell service wasn’t good enough to access email, but I got all the texts. Whew! They kindly told us we could park there before we checked in, and that we could park there until 4:00 pm the day we checked out. A Springdale shuttle stop was right across the street so there was easy access to restaurants and to the Visitor Center at Zion National Park. Very helpful and convenient for our visit to the Park!

The room was spacious and clean, however, we were there for a wedding and there was no place to hang any of clothes or an iron. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was exceptional, recently renovated, clean, beautifully designed, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook a proper meal. All the appliances were new. We especially appreciated the in-suite washer and dryer. Laundry detergent was complimentary! There were two annoyances I’d like to share. First, lighting outside the buildings was dim. We used our phones for extra lighting when we were climbing the stairs and unlocking the door’s key pad at night. To be fair, outdoor lighting was strictly regulated by the town in an effort to reduce light pollution. The facility couldn’t do much about that. Second, noise from the HVAC system was quite noticeable. If you were a light sleeper, you may be bothered by it. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay at Montclair.

Stayed 2 nights in a Villa and we will be back. Beautiful place. Fully stocked kitchen. Good wifi. Washer/Dryer in the villa. Right next to the Zion Park shuttle stop. All around it is a great place to stay.

Beautiful new property as of 2025 of 6 two-story buildings, each with what appears to be 4-8 units each. They surround a common area that has a salt water pool, large jacuzzi, laundry room with complimentary detergent & water bottle filler. The rooms are well done with higher end finishes & style like 3cm quartz counters, glass shower surround, smooth walls, dual roller shades for privacy or blackout. The room includes a small refer, microwave, and Nespresso machine. The Springdale shuttle stop #7 of 9 stops right out front and connects to the Zion park shuttle. The complex was quiet and clean. If they keep up with the maintenance, this place will remain a gem and a nice change from the more crowded lodges around. The only thing that would make this place better is EV charging and recycling. We recommend MeMe’s & Oscars for meals (Oscars has huge portions so beware). Zion Adventure outfitters were super friendly and knowledgeable. We did rock climbing (lead rope), canyoneering, and e-bike rental through them.

Beautiful property! Only stayed over night but it was a great room! Very clean and quiet. Only complaint was volume on the TV didn’t go past 50. Every commercial was super loud and when the movie started playing again you could barely hear what was being said. It was awesome to wake up and have a nice cup of Nespresso coffee Will stay here again!

Very clean and convenient! Cost was reasonable. Location was great with Shuttle bus stop across street. However, the TV and internet were on and off all evening the second night. The room was rather warm even with air conditioning on.

Check in and check out was easy and smooth! The rooms are sparkling clean. Communication through txt was super fast. I really enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone.

This place was very clean, and grounds and pool well maintained. There is a "faceless check in process". All done electronically. I never saw a staff person (except for housekeeping). But!! I chose to communicate with the "desk" via text message, and they were extremely responsive. I asked questions for directions, restaurant recommendations, and some other thing. The through response came within minutes if not seconds. Great idea!! I would defiantly stay there again. It is conveniently located at the last shuttle (to Zion) stop, right outside the door.

While service was great, it was a tad frustrating to only get the information for one room while I booked two. Had to call and they sent me information to the first room, and had to wait for information for the second. I know I added two numbers, and there being very to little WiFi in Zion made accessing my reservation stressful. Stay was beautiful, and staff answered right away. But it wasn’t entirely smooth.

We loved staying at Montclair during our trip to Zion. It was immaculate, and the contactless check-in process was a breeze. Also, connecting with staff when we needed something was easy, and they were always immediately responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.

The room was big and very nice. I am not a big fan of contactless check in, but it worked out fine. They allowed us to leave our car there earlier during the day we checked in so we could get to Zion without dealing with finding parking, which was a huge plus. The Springdale shuttle was very close to the hotel, but we just walked to the park.

The property is away from the core of downtown but a very short 5 minute walk to get to the hub. There are city shuttles that could be taken from right in front of the facility. Rooms were clean and nice. Not having on site staff was strange at first but the checkin and checkout process was easy.

Amazing spot in Springdale, quiet and close to the free shuttle buses which made access to the national park so much easier.

The location was fabulous - easy walk to all the Springdale restaurants and shops. The free shuttle was also super convenient, with stop #7 right in front of the property. The pool was refreshing after a long day of hiking, and the beds were very comfy. I would definitely stay here again when coming back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Montclair Inn and Suites at Zion. Perfect location inside the park. Shopping and dining convience. Beds were comfortable, room was dpacious and clean. Woll definitely book here again.

Great location for the shuttle bus. They have two types. Some are remodeled. The review says there has a continental complimentary breakfast but they don't have it I was confused.

I've stayed here twice. The rooms have been updated and the room was very nice. Things have changed since my first stay in 2021. There is no on-site staff but they are very responsive if you have a question or situation. They no longer have breakfast, so you'll want to consider this. We knew it going in, but didn't realize it would be so hard to find breakfast in town. Plan ahead and purchase breakfast items/bananas, etc. at Walmart in Hurricane. Only issue we had was that the toilet chain was too long and we had to remove the cover each time to manually flush the toilet. Not a big deal. We'll stay here again.

The beds and the bathroom are really nice. There is also a nice Nespresso machine and coffee in the room. There is no staff or food place because the hotel is run through chatting with staff. But the pool is really nice. Very good price for the quality of the place!
