Excellent location just up from the Springdale Shuttle to get to Zion National Park. We were able to walk to dinner. Room was spacious and clean, and had all the amenities. Only spent one night, but would definitely go back. Only complaint is the ice machine is in the laundry room, which is only open 8:30am to 9pm. So we couldn’t get more ice in the morning before we left for the park.

I thought it was great value compared to some other options. No pools or hot tubs (which I was aware of and didn’t care) but room has fridge, micro and coffee maker. Grab and Go brekky was more than enough to get me going. Right across the street from bike rental and main grocery store plus short walk to numerous restaurants. I’d stay there again!

This is a smaller hotel (30ish rooms) with an extremely helpful staff. Rooms were clean and well tended to. What we liked: They don't nickel and dime you... Free coffee in the room and lobby (any time you want). Free juice machine for the kids. Free bag breakfasts on your way into the park. Free parking. Free Wifi. After coming from Vegas (where they charge you for EVERYTHING), this was a welcome change.

This hotel is in need of a remodel. The rooms had peeling pant and old ironing boards attached to the wall in the bathroom. The plugs are inconvenient and we had to unplug the microwave to be able to plug in the coffee pot. The art is hung crooked on the wall. There is a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the views and the location is convenient to Zion National Park. The staff was helpful with listening to our concerns and addressed the plug issue. There is a laundry room but is was very dirty. No pool or jacuzzi. Overall disappointing property for the cost.

Staff at front desk were very nice. The buildings were run down and dirty. Paint peeling off the walls, very dirty corners, and had some ants in our room. I would not stay here again.

The bathroom was not cleaned right. The bottom of the lid had pee stains around the base of the plastic where the screws were. The small decorative pillows that were placed on the pillows were stained and dirty. One of the decorative pillows had lipstick on it.

The reviews I saw for this property had to be highly inflated. Noisy location, extremely over-air freshened (ugh - I am sure I will have a headache tomorrow) and waaaay too expensive for basically a redone budget motor lodge. Also found 3 hairs that don’t belong to us in the bathroom, and a sweet young couple found a bug in their bed. No one available after 9 to help with any of that. Definitely our most disappointing and overpriced stop on a 10 day western trip. Skip this place!

3 cockroaches found in room, A/C made horrible noises, and they have the worst toilet paper ever. The national parks have better toilet paper than them. Would never stay there again and would not recommend.

The property is new and clean however these new building are very poorly built and you literally hear every single noise from the guests on the 2nd floor rooms. Walls and celings are paper thin. Location is convenient, I highly recommend booking a 2nd floor room in this property.

Outstanding location just minutes from Zion! This is a no frills stay, but it's exactly what we wanted. We didn't plan on spending too much time in the hotel room. The to-go breakfast bag is perfect as we were trying to get to the park early on most days. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Lady at the front desk was the warmest and nicest person we’ve ever met at a front desk during out road trip. Family Suite very Spacious and clean (apart from a big stain on the couch). Breakfast is not continental but Grap&Go. Works fine.

Pros: Reasonably priced, bery clean, comfortable bed, quiet at night despite location on the main road through town (we were here in November), very helpful staff, good size fridge. Cons: Bathroom is very sparse with no hooks or shelves in the shower area. Sink is in the main room outside the bathroom, so no privacy. Heat was good but radiator noisy.

The room was fine for what we needed. Everything was clean. Our only real complaint was that the water pressure is terrible. Washing the shampoo out of your hair is impossible due to the almost non-existent water pressure. I did enjoy the grab-and-go breakfast bags they offer.

We were locked out of our room three times. Cards malfunctioned. Some of the staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful. Posted hours were until 9pm for the office. The practice evidently is to close wherever they like . The last night we were locked out when we returned from dinner. Although it was only 8:45, the office was locked. We called the emergency number and it went to voice mail with a full mailbox so we were unable to leave a message. Following multiple failed attempts to reach hotel personnel, we resorted to 911. After all, medications and all of our necessities were in our room which we were unable to access. 911 located the staff and they reissued a new key to our room. There was no apology. In fact, she indicated it was somehow our fault. That we did something to demagnetize the key and when calling the emergency number said that I hung up on them. Not true.

Zion Canyon Lodge provided the perfect stay for our first visit to Zion. We loved its close proximity to the national park. We appreciated the beverage centre and bagged breakfast. Our room was very clean. We loved having the amazing mountains surround us. We enjoyed dinner at Pizza & Noodles, a quick 4-minute walk as well as being across Sol Foods. Shannon is a gem! She was very friendly and helpful. We are from Canada and hope to be able to visit sometime soon again!!

Check in was a hassle, no staff at front desk, taped my room key to the front door which doesn’t seem very safe, and it was dark with no lights, took me a lot of time to find the room. Also strangely little soap and the like and I had to ask for more a few times. Good location though

Very helpful and friendly lady at the frontdesk. We had really nice conversation. She gave us poles for hiking the Narrows for free. In the park you have to rent them for 9 Dollars for each. The view from the hotel ist spectacular.

Check-in went very quickly. The front desk employees were very upbeat and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had lots of restaurant choices in walking distance because this property is right in the middle of town. We used the Springdale shuttle to get into Zion NP and that was a very quick way to bypass the long line of cars at the entrance.

Very convenient to Zion, whether using shuttle, driving or biking. Nice to have grocery store across the street, e-bike rental also across the street and good dining options within quick walking distance. Family suite worked out well for our family of 4 with 2 young children who were on sofa bed.

Convenient to dining options in the entrance to Zion. However the fact that the lobby doesn't open till 730 to get coffee is not a great thing. The in room coffee is terrible, so we ended up getting coffee before the lobby closed and then just heating it in the microwave the next morning. Not ideal but better than going without when you wanna get a head start to get into the park. Also the breakfast is kind of a joke. You need to up your game on that one.

A comfortable room. Maintenance needs to fix the small things like a broken toilet paper holder and vanity faucet. The bag breakfast was boring and always the same. A cold bagel without a toaster leaves a lot to be desired. Very close to the entrance to Zion and good restaurants. The local supermarket is overpriced.

The hotel was quiet and clean. The only problem for us was not having a protein breakfast in the morning before we needed to get to the transport to the park. Restaurants didn’t open until 8 am, tram was at 7 am. They offered a bag breakfast the night before; an apple, muffin, bagel, cream cheese and yogurt. Some boiled eggs would have been terrific. Super friendly owners.

Clean and modern room. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking even one for electric car. Breakfast was below average. It was in a brown bag with one red apple, one muffin, one yogurt and a small bagel with one cream cheese. However no toaster to heat up the refrigerated cold bagel.

Nice front desk staff. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was for the continental breakfast, however that area was closed (I missed why), so we got bags in the am w/a packaged bagel, cream cheese, packaged small muffin, yogurt and an apple. I suppose they had to go with non perishables, but a banana would have been nice.
