Stayed 2 nights

Liked the quirkiness of the cottage. Like the art work around the rooms, liked they left us milk on arrival. Good instructions on how to get there. The road surface was pretty rough and you had to be very careful when parking. Didnt like the lack of lights at night We arrived when it was dark and the outside light wasnt working made it difficult to see the path had to use torch on my phone. The cottage was small but nice, it was clean and linens smelled freshly washed. It was very quiet. The kitchen had everthing you needed and everyhting was clean. however a few handles off the cupboard and drawers , drawers really stiff, shower didnt stay up , so you had to hold it to wash yourself. Found the spring mattress uncomfortable.

Good communication from host. Outside space disappointing with whole area in the shade throughout the day and evening due to tree shade. Fabulous unique art in the property.

Beautiful property, lovely views from the windows and at night all the lights from the other side of the water is so nice. There is a woodland walk just at the top of the road, most places are dog friendly, and to see the deer in the garden from the window was so nice.

Lovely little cottage. Cosy and quiet, yet less than five minutes from ferry. Ideally located for exploring the local area and taking in the stunning landscape.
