The room was nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Hotel is in a good area and was within walking distance to a lot of where we wanted to go. We were able to check in a lot earlier at no extra cost which was appreciated. All the staff we interacted with were lovely and helpful. Only negative was it was a cold evening and we wanted to grab a drink in the hotel bar before heading out to dinner but the bar was booked for a private party so there was no alternative options for hotel guests

Lovely small-feel property. The people behind the desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the best gyms I've ever experienced at a hotel that had everything I wanted for a short workout. Easy walk to St Stephen's Green and Trinity College and everything in those vicinities. Excellent breakfast and very quiet. Would love to return someday.

What a fantastic hotel! This was our family's favorite hotel during a two week tour of Ireland. They also had our favorite breakfast! Great staff, wonderful modern and quiet rooms, incredible gym and a perfect location. Five stars!

We had a wonderful stay. The front desk manager was very accommodating. The rooms are very nice. It’s in a quiet part of town yet a ten minute walk away is all of the action in Dublin. One complaint is in the listing on Expedia it mentions on site parking. There is no on site parking. To get yo the off site parking is confusing. I’ll try and upload a picture of the listing.

They don’t have a pool and parking in the property. The paid parking is 3 minute drive. The restaurant closes at 9 for food and have very very limited vegetarian option. Restaurants keeping beyond burger as a vegetarian choice need to understand that vegetarians don’t enjoy the smell and taste of meat so beyond is not an option. The hospitality of breakfast staff(Olga, Adrian, Aileen etc.), front desk, night shift, bar staff is off the charts. Most amazing people.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Mont. Room and overall hotel grounds were clean and quiet. Convenient location, close proximity to Trinity College and few minutes walking to many pubs and eateries. The only tip that I would give the hotel is to use glass enclosures for the room showers opposed to cloth shower curtains. From a disinfectant standpoint, I'm not sure how staff are able to properly disinfect shower curtains after guests' use opposed to being able to spray, disinfect and clean a glass shower enclosure.

My room was not vacuumed daily. I was there for 3 nights. I found things I hadn’t even known I had dropped on the floor. Staff friendliness was hit and miss. Great location for walking to Grafton Street.

We arrived really late at this hotel due to a flight delay, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The area was also convenient for us to take a quick walk around Merrion Square Park and St. Stephen's Green the following morning. Our couple of complaints, however, were that our room was very damp feeling and had a bit of a mildew smell, so we slept with the windows open. Our towels were also almost all stained (looked like blood, to be honest), which was a bit off-putting. The location is great, though, and the staff were wonderful. It's possible we just got the wrong room.

I have nothing bad to say about our stay what so ever. It was one of the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in. Every day it was nicely cleaned, filled with more coffee, tea and biscuits. Lovely bathroom with at bath tub, always a bonus. Location is excellent as well, in walking distance to so many things. We stayed in room 404 and had perfect view to the Park and the statue of Oscar Wilde.

We had a wonderful stay at The Mont. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Our room spotlessly clean, well equipment and nicely designed. Breakfast was great. I am gluten intolerant and I was offered pastries and muffins as well as gluten free bread!

Other than the decor, our room looked nothing like the ones on the website. It had very low ceilings and one small window in the sitting area that overlooked an alley. This made it very dark and nothing pleasant to see outside. I regret that I did not say something immediately but it’s not my nature to complain. I chose the Mont over many other options because of the high ratings and tastefully hip decor. I was disappointed.

Loved this hotel! Great location near Trinity College but not a busy street or filled with too many pedestrians. Rooms were on smaller side but beds were really comfy, bathroom had fantastic water pressure and lotions. Would stay again!

Overall a good stay and our checkout person was amazing - quick to check us out, get a cab, and help us out with our luggage in mere minutes. We’re used to smaller hotel rooms in Europe, but the queen room we had was very, very tiny for the big city price.

The waitress in the hotel bar which was called The Sin Bin was extremely rude to us. As a result ruined the end of our night and we avoided a visit to the bar the following night as a direct result of her. We did mention to this to a member of staff on reception.

My reservation June 3 was made in error. I immediately tried to reverse the booking and it was nonrefundable..the hotel would not consider a refund or credit to me for this costly mistake. Check-in marked me as a no-show, which of course I will have been because I live in Canada and will not be visiting Dublin and staying at The Mont until September 2025….extremely disappointing that they could not have some compassion or compensation for my error

Great location for visiting like me. Close to Trinity College, Train station, and across the street from Hop-On/Off and transit buses. The staff were the standout here. Front desk were without exception friendly and charming and helpful. Stephanie was fantastic in the Sin Bar as well!

We stayed at The Mont twice during our trip to Ireland and both times were exceptional. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist you with anything. The rooms themselves were very clean and had all needed amenities for your stay and a few extras as well. If I’m ever back in Ireland I will definitely stay again!

The Mont is an excellent hotel for your stay in Dublin. They helped us with an early check-in, advice on nearby activities and walks in the vicinity, and booking transport. The train to Howth is super close and I recommend a day trip. The room was well appointed, super clean, and I appreciated the eco-friendly products. Neville and Ivan at the front desk were especially helpful and even called us to make sure the room was to our liking. The attached pub, The Sin Bin, is also a highlight with great service and good drinks.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city. Very close proximity to Trinity College. Walking distance from lots of major attractions. Safe area. The only drawback - to enter the lobby, you have to carry your luggage the rough 5-6 steps. Not an issue for me, but keep this in mind if you need assistance. Very friendly staff, clean and practical room. Very quiet too!

We love the breakfast staff. They are friendly and thoughtful. We have a tour and we were packing some pastry in a napkin. One lady came to our table and asked if we'd like some boxes and bags to make sandwiches. They can also packed breakfast bags for you if you call ahead at night to be picked up in the morning. We also like the coffee maker, the water and cookies they supply in the room everyday. We recommend The Mont Hotel.
