WorldMark Clear Lake

We were amazed by our accommodation at WorldMark Nice. We had a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. The bedroom had a huge king size bed and lots of storage space. The living room had a queen size murphy bed which our grandson slept on and said was comfortable. There was a nice patio with chairs and a table. The amenities here were fabulous. There was a heated pool and a large hot tub, even a small kids' pool. There was a game room, fitness room, ping pong table, pool table, horseshoe pits, basketball court, volleyball net etc There is a private pier for fishing and just sitting as there are benches on it. We had a great relaxing time. The staff were all very friendly. We will return for sure.

Room was great but they did not vacuum. There were old sunflower seeds all over the floor. Pool was closed due to an issue which was a bummer. Great staff though.

Great family stay, pool and hot tub is very large (holds 24) and clean! Kitchen was very well equipped and the gas grills at each room was great for meals. Service desk was responsive to a DVD problem as well as efficient checkin and out. Would highly recommend. We definitely will stay again next year!

The rooms here are apartment style. Our apartment was very spacious. Our grandchildren had their own bedroom and bathroom. We had a lovely king bedroom with bathroom. There was a full kitchen. It was very clean and everything in the kitchen was provided. There was a big balcony with a gas bbq. Each bedroom and the living room had a tv. The pool area is wonderful. A nicely heated pool right by the lake and a big hot tub. There are many things to do here like horseshoes, basketball etc. There is even a fishing pier. Its a lovely hotel. This was our second visit to it. We will definitely return. Our teenage grandchildren really enjoyed the stay too.

The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub while there. Both the hot tub and pool were heated just right, and it did not smell like a lot of chemicals.

Staff was very nice and welcoming. Room feels like an actual home with access to separate rooms and kitchen. There is also access to many facilities that are just nice to have around like the gym and lobby having arcade/media. The access to the lake is honestly the best, as its right there next to where you're staying.

We booked for a weekend to chill. We knew there were not many businesses, restaurants nearby. Our intention was just relaxing on site at a pool, hot tub, and playing volleyball/basketball. It was a perfect place for us to chill. A hotel staff also put us on a quiet corner unit as there was a large group on site that weekend. It was perfectly quiet at our unit. Also, the unit had a good range of cookware, plates and silverware. If you are not seeking for an action, this is a good place. Also, this is a good place if you like fishing.

I love coming up to Worldmark. The property is immaculate, and the staff is excellent. Cypress is always very helpful and very professional. Also, thank you for the birthday gift bag.

The condo unit we stayed in was huge and very comfortable. One of the toilets wasn’t totally clean when we got there but other than that very nice unit. There was some minor disrepair with one of the bathrooms exhaust fans hanging down. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful And the amenities were great including the heated pool. Definitely a diamond in the rough and unexpectedly nice for the area. One area of improvement could be more lighting outside at night.

Walls were a bit thin, we heard neighbor preparing for an outing & slamming doors from 6-6:30am. Bathroom had shampoo / conditioner / body wash containers and 2 were empty on check in.

My family and I have been coming here for over a decade, never have we had any issues, this time we came there was almost nothing in the room… barely any toilet paper on the roll, towels for 1 person, they no longer leave pool towels in the room, the place was dirty, our bathroom has a line inside the bowl that’s how long it hasn’t been cleaned, in front of the fireplace you can see dust from just sitting on the couch, the staff was nice to begin with, we came with our parents and asked to be next door to each other, it was poring raining outside, we were promised the rooms next to each other, (my parents came a few hours later than we did) I asked Lila twice to make sure parents will be next to us and she yea they will be, until we saw some other people moved in there, I called the office right away, she’s like well yea they’re on the other side of you, I was like I asked you twice to make sure we’re next to each other, anyways I requested to switch rooms to be next to them and first she said no and than called back and said she could move us, I thought she’d move us next to parents which wasn’t far for us to move all out stuff, instead she moved us an entire building away.. We came here with 4 little kids, I wasn’t about to drag all our stuff with a newborn in the rain across town! That was not how I imagined our vacation at all, you take time off from work and school to come and enjoy and instead you get to this, not sure I ever want to come back here.

Amazing very clean place

The overall stay was okay. We found our door open 2x. Nothing was taken from our room, but housekeeping came in unannounced and didn’t properly close yhe door. They should familarize themselves with lists of departed guests. Rug needs deep cleaning, leaving white socks black. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit delapitated. It feels like we stepped outside of modern America and dove into the 70s. This was our first and last time we’ll visit the area.

The room was almost like an apartment. It was very roomy well equipped kitchen. Everything I needed toiletry wise for a shower very clean. The pillows were wonderful. I ordered a set on Amazon so when I get home from my trip, I will have a set. I slept like a log all three nights I was there. The location is wonderful such a neat little town on clearlake unfortunately it was the last hurrah of the Midge flies..

Front desk worker nice but not customer oriented. Indifferent would be the best way to describe service.

Another great stay at the World Mark. The room was clean and comfortable. Hot tub, large and wonderful. We had a problem with a slat falling off of our curtain in front of the sliding glass door but it was fixed quickly by a very capable maintenance man named Dan. He was in and out quickly and we had no further problems. My only disappointment was I had put in a special request for Bldg F and did not get placed in a room there. There appeared to be some empty rooms in that building but I was content with where we stayed, even though we didn't have as spectacular a view of the lake from Building H. Still, it was quiet and peaceful and we will be back again!

The building and grounds are pretty and well maintained. The rooms were clean. There are lots of family-friendly amenities. There is no elevator and there are lots of stairs, which is not advertised on the website, and is problematic for guests with disabilities. Most frustrating was that when this issue was raised, the staff were not helpful in resolving it. They kept blaming the 3rd party agency through which we booked, saying “don’t shoot the messenger,” and they made no attempt to fix the problem, resulting in a disabled woman having to battle with several flights of stairs repeatedly.

We booked the wrong room, too small. However, they gave us free upgrades without any hesitation. Highly Recommended!

I was called 4 hours away from arriving while driving to be told my confirmed room (2 bedrooms) was not available and I was being given a 1 bedroom and a studio to which I agreed. An hour later global operations calls to tell me I'm getting the one bedroom no studio.

Whst a lovely resort! The one bedroom condo was roomy and very clean and comfy. The desk took quick notice that the room we'd been assigned was not ready for us and very graciously upgraded us to a beautiful room with a lake view! Also provided a complimentary bottle of wine, chocolate truffles and a nice souvenir mug. VIP treatment all the way! We will definitely be returning.

What a delightful, friendly, professional, welcoming staff. Because of severe weather and flight delays we were 9 hours late and checked in at 3:00 AM. We were warmly welcomed by Guest Services. The remainder of the stay was just as pleasant.

Gorgeous place to stay in nice. The area is not so great but this is the best place by far on the lake. I even caught a couple fish from the pier.

Booked a weekend trip as a couple. First time in Clear Lake. Location is very nice, very calm and really close to the lake. We had a free upgrade on our check -in to a 2 bedroom. The unit was very clean from the bathroom to the kitchen. Master bedroom was very spacious. Bed was OK, a little hard to my taste, linens and towels were clean. Staff was friendly. We never used the amenities(pool,jacuzzi). There's a private dock mainly for Guest on the lake. I think its newly remodeled, very nice setting during sunset. we will definitely bookmark this Hotel on our future stay. Thanks WorldMark

The property itself is incredible. The restaurants around town the hours of operation are a little hard to figure out but other than that everything was great.

The property was excellent except for outside areas. The Lake water is dirty and smells. Overall the property is clean , safe and excellent

The room was large and kitchen fully stocked. There was a huge spiderweb in the kitchen and no blanket for the bed. The grounds itself were maintained well and we had an enjoyable time on the pier and watching the sunset. There isn’t much to do nearby but if you want a relaxing stay this can be it.

The WorldMark Clearlake Resort is an absolute gem. I'm so happy I found this great, well maintained and managed resort. It was worth the 30 minute drive to the other side of the lake while visiting folks in Clearlake. The spacious apartment has everything needed for a long stay, including a washer-dryer and furnished kitchen. Since it's a time-share type of resort, be prepared to bring your coffee, etc. There is one issue the manager should address. I happen to be staying the morning of 'trash day!' It seems reasonably unacceptable for the county to empty the many large metal hotel trash containers at 5:20 a.m. It was a brutal awakening outside my window, but certainly loud enough to wake even hearty sleepers...like the loudest truck and then cannons! I was up and on the road back home earlier than planned.
