Hot tub is fabulous

Accommodating staff, clean room, wonderful pool and hot tub!

It was an ok stay, place was clean and staff were friendly. There's a pool table in the room off the lobby(which they serve breakfast ON, so the table is a bit messed up & there's the wrong balls, but still playable/ok to teach kids the basics). Hot tub was closed for maintenance it said, and the pool was cloudy and an off color so we skipped using that. Exercise stuff most didn't work at all, so if you're going for those features skip it, we didn't care much about those things, though the pool would've been nice to be usable and not looking in need of some chemicals/a cleaning. There's a small playground with 2 slides and 2 swings, good to keep kids busy for a bit, there's a large park only about 5 mins away though which was great. Location in general was convenient, food, gas, parks etc all close by & it was about 15-20 mins to lake George as well. Biggest downside was that we had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times in our room because there was a sewer smell that lingered, we thought maybe the water just needed to be ran, if the room hadn't been used recently maybe, but that didn't help. The water pressure was eh, water temps were set backwards also in our room which wasn't a big deal. Beds were very uncomfortable but doable.

This is a no-frills motel that was clean and offered a great central location. The front desk staff were all great and friendly, the pool area and hot tub was very clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable.

Clean !!! The room was very clean, the cleaning service even cleans your room daily for no extra charge ! The indoor pool area was very clean and nice. There is a huge yard with a small playground. There is plenty of grills and tables, very nice area. The outdoor pool was closed, but the indoor one was great. The room was a little small, but it was so clean and new looking it made up for it !

Stayed for two nights during a snow and ice storm and had a blast. Pool and jacuzzi room very warm and clean and a room with a billiard table. Staff was always there to help and would def go again.

The property was very nice and clean, the pool was heated and hot tub was great. Wonderful gas station right across the street with everything you could need.

Easy checkin, nice room, beautiful indoor pool (working to raise the water temperature) with very clean changing rooms, nice selection of basic breakfast choices. Staff was pleasant and responsive.

Property charged double, not adhering to price expedia showed. Jacuzzi was out of order for maintenance. Ice machine also out of order. Dilapidated outdoor pool.

Great place to stay! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable with soft blankets, nice sized refrigerator for drinks, and a place to hang my clothes (needed in my case). The curtains were a little hard to close and didn’t block out the excessive light. And there was a mattress pad on the bed that was kind of annoying, but these hardly factor in when seeing that basic amenities were covered.

Room needed a deep clean. Bed linens torn. Bed was very comfortable. Location very convenient. Nice rec room and indoor pool. Continental breakfast was good. (Bathroom exhaust fan cover was filthy)

This motel is disgusting. Stains on the bed sheets. Dank, stale odor. Nasty carpet we didn't want to walk barefoot on. Plumbing fixtures loose and corroded. Light switches with a build up of gunk on them. This place has put little effort into barebones maintenance and it shows blatantly. We understand that this area is littered with low end motels, but even so, this one ripped us off. The price we paid, which was rather low was yet still immensely overpriced for what we received.

The price was very economical, but the room was not clean. There was a wet and oily mess on the counter, the chairs were dirty and dusty. The mattresses were fine. Some towels were blood stained.

Very dirty. Huge disappointment.

Check in was fast and staff was friendly. They do not have electronic key cards, just old fashioned keys but no paddle making it very easy to lose and they charge you $10 if you lose it or don't turn it in. I generally don't care for outside entry motels but this had an automatic locking door knob, a deadbolt, and a chain so I felt perfectly safe. Room was large and clean. I used the TV the refrigerator and a hair dryer it all worked without issue. TV was tiny. The towels were tiny and paper thin. They have something restricting the shower selector from going all the way left toward the hot, so the water only got lukewarm. I hoped I could get through a whole shower with lukewarm water but it turned cold very quickly. Didn't bother showering the second day just waited till I got home. I usually stay in Queensbury when I come to this area. I was in town for a funeral and this was closer to family. However, after the stay here I wish I had stayed in Queensbury. The rooms there are much nicer with interior entry and it would have cost less.

Overall nice for the price. Needs some updating and the wifi needs to be better, as cell services is just terrible. Pretty clean, just a little outdated. I would come back here again. The staff at the front desk was very nice.

Typical landmark stay! In and out. The beds are rock hard but the accessibility to the highway makes it convenient. Noisy due to being right on route 9 highway

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. The property needs updating and some TLC. Pros, our room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. We liked that it was away from the hustle and bustle of city center. However, it was quite expensive for the quality. Towels are tiny tiny, and pillows were horrible - we went to Walmart and bought new ones. We didnt use the pool, but note to others considering booking, you must walk outside to get to the pool since the room are not connected internally.

We were Pleasantly surprise with how spacious and quiet the room was. It could use an update in the style and decoration but for the price it was great.

I like the motels/ hotels older style. You park your vehicle right outside your door. Everything is easy walking and convenient. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and 2 chairs outside the door for outdoor seating- all pluses for us. The only complaint was spotty Wi-Fi. When we are in the area again, we’ll definitely stay at the Landmark.

While the room was adequate, the fact that the doors only had a knob lock and very thin doors on outdoor facing entrances meant that we couldn’t leave any valuables in the room. Floors have no carpeting and the room smelled musty and old when we entered it. TV was tiny and barely functioned properly and the “continental breakfast” was meager and stale. This place could be really great with a major overhaul and refurbishment, but overall we were underwhelmed with both the property and the price.

The GM, Holly, was very accomodating and kind, the property was very quiet, quaint, and clean. Short drive to Lake George. Would stay again!

Great stay, spacious room, very nice staff and amazing value

Staff was friendly on checkin and room was clean. Rooms and common area are in need of updating but were comfortable. Towels were plentiful but worn. Room a/c univents leak condensation outside of rooms, which is an esthetic problem but indicates which rooms are occupied so also a security concern. Dead/cut down plantings outside of some rooms should be removed instead of leaving the stumps. Hot tub was in good repair and the pool water was very clean; however, it appears both could use a good scrubbing. Breakfast was ok, pre-packaged pastries and bagels, coffee was good; bottled apple and orange juice bottles were served on a pool table (a little odd). Fruit or some yogurt would have been a nice addition. Not bad for the price in an expensive area but a few sweat equity things would make it a lot nicer. I left a laptop charger there and called that night to ask if it had been turned in and the person told me I had to call back in the morning. In other cases with other hotels I have been put on hold while the person answering the phone checks. The Landmark's response seems to indicate that there is no plan/practice for handling left items. I did follow up and call back in the am, and was put off again and told they'd call me back. That didn't happen. Leaving belongings behind is on me, but their failure to respond/reply/follow up was disappointing.

We had to leave a day early for medical reasons The owner would not refund the one night even though they were fully booked and could rebooked the room for that one night

The staff was great, attentive and very polite. Because we had a late chech-in, they even called me to make sure we are going to make it. They give real keys and only one, but later have us a second one when we were locked out. Breakfast was not too good. The donuts (the two out of seven days they had them) seemed like yesterday's donuts. I didn't dare try the cereal. No frills (no flavored coffee or creamer, only grape jelly, white or wheat Sara Lee bread). Pool and hot tub looked great, but I didn't try them. I tried to on Christmas day but they didn't open the pool area that day at all. Overall, it was conveniently located, nice staff and pretty clean. It was cheap and a good value even with a few short comings.

Very Friendly The lady in Front Desk..

We tried to check out Monday morning and the doors were locked. We couldn't return the key and we couldn't get the breakfast that we were supposed to be having. Would not recommend this to anyone

Staying at The Landmark was a good experience. We saw only a couple of staff - both were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The facility was a little older but well cared for and clean...easy parking and right near I87. We would return if we were in that area again.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. I traveled alone and felt very safe. I requested a quiet room and was very happy that I did get the best room for my request.

We were going to the racetrack for one day and needed a place to stay overnight. The price was right for the motel. It was easy to find and parking was right in front of our room. We were able to check in a bit earlier which was great. We had an issue with the air conditioner not working and the 2 women at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. They found us a different room which was just a few down from our original room. The rooms were nice. We sat outside at night and noticed that other groups did that as well.

The location is very convenient.

Good inexpensive place about 20 minutes from SPAC.

Easy to get to right off the Route we were traveling. Older motel, park in front of your room was great. Room was very clean, bed was in good shape got a good night's sleep. Shower was just ok but served the purpose. Would consider another stay if traveling to the area. price was very affordable compared to other hotels/motels in the Saratoga area.

Our 3-day stay was excellent! Hollie was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean! The location was nice - 15 minutes to Saratoga Springs and 10 minutes to Lake George. We had never been to the area at all and driving was a cinch! The indoor pool was a huge treat for my 6 year old and the hot tub was a treat for the parents! The motel also has a playground in the back and a billiard table in the main lobby. The price is on point, the location is appreciated, the staff was exceptional, this was a gem of a spot for our family. Thank you for your hospitality, we will absolutely return!

Older property but clean and reasonably priced. Fine if you need to crash for a night. Morning continental breakfast was great

Continental breakfast is very limited. We had an issue with our sink being clogged and the lightbulbs above the vanity weren’t working, but the handyman came in and put bulbs in it.

Overall good ,ceiling had some cobwebs but everything else was clean. great value for the price! Also had continental breakfast available, would stay again.

Continental breakfast was ok. It would have been nice to also offer lactose free milk or alternative. The shower towels are too small to dry the whole body, needed to use two but they only supplied three for two people. The mattress was too soft for us because we are use to very firm so did not get much sleep.

Cool old school place with charming free breakfast.

I'm not a picky hotel person at all, but I have no idea how this place got to 8.6 on Expedia. The beds are very hard, like might as well sleep on the floor, everything is from the 80s era, and the "continental breakfast" was apples, prepackaged muffins, prepackaged bagels, prepackaged donuts and coffee.

It is a pleasant place - clean, cosy, with some history. The only warning (though it is pretty clear from the hotel description) - the breakfast is pretty limited: bagels with butter and cream cheese, cookies, coffee, apples.
