The Flamingo - South Padre Island

Lovely stay! Affordable and convenient. AC unit was a bit loud though trying to sleep.

Facilities are very old, no rod for the toilet paper, tv wasn’t working, mold on the bath floor, peeling couch, and worse one of the bed you can feel the springs. I understand it was pricy because the season (7/4) but never again at their hotel

Booked hotel, added $30 worth of fee’s per night once I got to the property. Bathroom had black mold EVERYWHERE.

Bed sheets were dirty, like the bed was just done with out placing new sheets or cleaning it. Found hair in both beds.

I love the flamingo! The room with this spa tub is my favorite favorite. It’s so nice to come back to my room and enjoy relaxing any big bubble bath! The only reason I did not give this property five stars across the board was because they are in the process of cleaning things up and remodeling. I’m sure it’s gonna be beautiful! It’s one of the older places in South Padre, and being a native Texan and Spending a lot of time in the valley with my grandparents who are winter Texans this place always brings me back to the best childhood memories!
