Fantastic stay at L'HÔTEL du LAC, Hanoi I stayed at L'HÔTEL du LAC for a week and a half in October and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter — close to many sights, cafés, and shops, yet quiet enough for a restful stay. My room was spotless, very comfortable, and well maintained throughout my visit. The staff were exceptional — genuinely warm, attentive, and with great attention to detail. Normally I don't give reviews for hotels. I stay at many hotels that I have gold status but this time at this hotel I simply want to tell something . The staffs and I express that all staffs are so nice and helpful as I have not experienced in other hotels. breakfast is varied so you don't get the same kind of breakfast every day. you get autentisk vietnamese breakfast too. The staff at breakfast were also sweet and helpful. The hotel also has a rooftop bar with 360 degree views of the city. The cocktails tasted amazing and again the staff at the rooftop bar were superb We really really enjoyed our stay.

Clean and cute rooms, loved the rooftop bar, the staff was super friendly. For us, the highlight was the breakfast, better than all other places we stayed at. We still talk about it a week later! We enjoyed our stay very much. The one downside was that we could hear a little bit the noise from the hallway, but not too much. I would still say the place was quiet, we slept well.

大きくないホテルですがとてもオススメです。まず立地が良いです、ハノイの市街をいろいろ歩きましたが、ホテル周辺には美味しいフォー、バインミーなどありますし、ちょうどいいお土産屋さんもたくさんあります。湖までは歩いてすぐで、夜９時過ぎでも安心して歩けました。そして、スタッフの方々のおもてなしが素晴らしかったです。チェックイン時のウェルカムドリンクのハーブティとドライフルーツが美味しくて、お土産に購入しました。滞在中はホテルに帰るたび笑顔で迎えてくれて安心です。チェックアウト後も、荷物預かりはもちろん、着替えとシャワーのために部屋を貸していただけましたし、最後にはプチギフトをいただき、至れり尽くせりでした。朝食も充実していて美味しかったです。部屋も清潔で広いです。ルーフトップバーもこじんまりしていますが、生演奏もやっていて雰囲気良かったです。

L'HÔTEL du LAC is absolutely beautiful - would give 100 stars if I could. The artwork and decor inside the hotel are stunning. The hotel is in a great location inside the Old Quarter which has plenty to do. We stayed in the Sunset Terrace Suite which was beautiful beyond words. Communication from staff was great even before we arrived and they were very helpful organising our trip to Hạ Long Bay, as well as airport pick up and drop off. Breakfast was great as were the cocktails in the sky bar which had amazing views of the city. Special shout outs to Lilly who made us feel very welcome, but especially Chloe whose knowledge and passion for Vietnamese culture left a lasting impression on us - we will remember her for a very long time. All staff had immaculate attention to detail and we felt very cared for during our stay. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to go back.

The hotel is in a great part of town—easy to explore, lively, and well located for food, cafes, and walking around. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Old & outdated inside the room even the outside doesn’t look too bad. The images they posted on the media are not accurate. The real property is way smaller. The neighborhood always so busy, very hard to have taxi stops to pic you up.

Great choice for staying in the Old Quarter. Lovely hotel, super attentive staff, well appointed rooms, like the little balconies over the street and, despite being in the middle of the Old Quarter, it wasn't noisy. Nice breakfast and even room service if you like, also they kept our luggage when we left Hanoi and returned a few days later.

とにかくスタッフの皆さんが親切でホスピタリティが素晴らしいホテルでした。朝食付きで宿泊しましたが、帰国日の朝早いチェックアウトの為、朝食サービス時間前でしたが、空港で食べれる様な朝食セットを用意して頂けました。ホテルは賑やかなエリアに有る為静かな環境とは言えませんが、どこへ行くにも便利でした。唯一残念なのは、構造的に部屋に窓が無い為、時間的な感覚が今一わからないです。朝日が差しこむ様な窓が有れば良いですがそこを差し引いても、ホテルの皆さんの温かい対応が勝り満足出来ました。ハノイに行ったらまた宿泊したいホテルでした。ホテルの皆さんありがとうございました。

We loved our stay here. Very walkable and convenient location. Great rooftop bar and breakfast which is included. Most of all the staff were amazing! Very helpful and went out of their way to provide the best experience. We left to the airport at 11 pm after checking out in the morning, and they kindly offered us a shower and chance to freshen up after a long day of sightseeing. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very clean hotel, beautiful design and artwork, the service is beyond amazing and all the staff are so thoughtful! I've stayed at a lot of high end hotels (like recently the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills) and the staff at L'hotel du Lac provide a far greater service! They remember your name and any detail you've told them, open the doors when you approach the entrance at any time if the day, remembered when our departure date is and where we were traveling to next and offered to set up and tours or rides, when we missed breakfast (that's included in our stay) when we slept in, they offered to send up tea, fruits and breads to ensure we've eaten breakfast, and they even provided a really nice departing gift! And the breakfast was astounding!! We got the Vietnamese traditional breakfast items like pho, fried sticky rice and traditional coffees and they were better than most of the popular restaurants we've tried around Ha Noi! I booked this hotel as a last minute hotel change since I wanted to be in the Old Quarter and couldn't be happier with the choice, it's perfectly located, walking distance to the main attractions like train street, the lake, popular shopping streets, the cathedral, and popular restaurants. If I visit Hanoi in the future, I will be coming right back to this hotel.

I've traveled overseas quite a bit, and Hotel du Lac is the absolute best experience I've had. Hotel arranged transport to/from airport. Upon arrival, staff met us on the busy street to help us out of car and take luggage inside. Sit down check-in with hot tea, map, and explanations of hotel amenities and area restaurants and points of interests. After helping us to the rooms with luggage, we were ready to go with the information they already gave us! EVERY time we passed through the hotel, hotel staff greeted us by name and gave us information when applicable, such as ride information to HaLong Bay. This team was absolutely perfect and made the holiday so much more enjoyable. EACH and every one of them. The rooms were good, clean and everything we needed, plus fresh bananas, water, coffee, and tea. We also ate at the hotel one night, and the food was superb....a little more expensive as expected, but worth it for a no-hassle meal. The morning included breakfast was a beautiful buffet, and they also offered to cook western breakfast if wanted. But again, the staff at this location provided the most personal stay ever....words really cannot express our gratitude. Thank you team....you are all so special and will be remembered. Next time in Hanoi, there will be no question on where we'll stay. Praying that this beautiful city retains its culture so we can continue exploring more. Thank you again Hotel du Lac, best holiday ever!!!!!

We had an excellent stay at L’HÔTEL du LAC Hanoi! The staff is what really makes this place special. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they gave great recommendations for nearby sites in the Old Quarter, arranged our transfer, and helped to safely navigate our baggage through the hectic stream of motorbikes. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel, it was tough to get out of bed in the morning - but well worth it considering the delicious breakfast buffet. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re a first time or returning visitor to Hanoi!

My family and I booked two rooms for 5 days and chose it for the great location. The staff went above and beyond during our stay- starting from a late flight check in, to ensuring our rooms were right next to each other, booking amazing day trips to Ninh Binh & Halong Bay, to booking a shuttle to the airport and ensuring we had coffee for our departure. We were already blown away at how attentive the staff was but after our departure to our next city it was the cherry on top. My mother forgot an item in her room. We contacted the Hotel and not only were they able to find the item in a few hours, but they also shipped it to our next hotel! My mother was elated and we are so thankful for the patience and kindness that the staff has for each guest.

ホアンキエム湖、大教会まで徒歩圏内の便利なホテルです。周辺にはお店がいっぱいあり、食事にもショッピングにも困りません。繁華街ではないので、夜は騒がしいということもなく睡眠を邪魔されません。ちなみに、ホテルを右に出て2ブロック先に清潔なコインランドリーがあるので、洗濯はそこで済ませました。ホテルはこじんまりとしており、清潔感があります。フランス様式の建物に中華風の内装でまとめられています。窓なしの部屋もあるようですが、私は窓ありを選択しました。眺望はハノイの街でお世辞にもきれいではないですが、やはり窓があった方が絶対によかったです。食事は地下一階のレストランで、ハーフビュッフェになります。品数は多くはないですが必要十分に足りています。私はオーダーメニューのフォーがお気に入りでした。スタッフの方はとてもフレンドリーで、すぐに顔を覚えて声をかけてくれました。途中体調が悪くなり相談したときも、いろいろ対応していただきました。感謝しかないです。ここより安いホテルはたくさんあると思いますが。この価格で、このレベルはコスパ高いと思います。次回もこちらでお世話になります。

The hotel is located on few block blocks away from Lake, means easy to access middle of Hanoi and not too noisy specially in weekends. Sky bar at roof level have great view and drink, service. Also have super market to buy small staffs to drink and eat. Hanoi church is only 5min away from hotel, means lot of things to do around hotel. Of cause staffs are very friendly and helpful. What a wonderful hotel. I wish I could give the staff here 10 stars. Everyone was so considerate and helpful most spoke English very well and were quick to offer assistance and suggestions. The rooms are on the small side but quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of Vietnamese and western choices. The location is perfect only 2 blocks from the lake with easy access to shopping of all levels. Wonderful stay

朝食の種類も豊富でとてもおいしかったです。ベトナムコーヒーがすごくおいしかったのでおすすめです。スタッフの方の接客もとても丁寧で部屋もきれいだったのでとても快適に過ごせました。またベトナムに来る時は利用したいと思います。

We were happy with the beds and quietness of the hotel at night. We had two rooms in the back of the hotel, very quiet at night despite traffic. The breakfast was incredible. I do suggest getting only one Vietnamese coffee, it was strong, and two made us vibrate. lol, great experience!
