The hotel and our room were very charming, comfortable and clean. It had a lovely Italian feel. A great place convenient to local shops, restaurants and the square just steps outside your door. The room was however very quiet. As in many older buildings, there is a flight of stairs to climb to the hotel entrance. A very nice stay.

We only stayed one night but were very happy with our room. The location was good. You will need to take a taxi if you arrive by train. Lucca is a very walkable city. We were able to relax in the lobby the day we left before going to the train station

Location was great. Quaint rooms with much character. The manager is a great communicator (she may also be the owner) who takes great pride in this property.
