Very friendly staff and doggie friendly! Our boy loved the friendly pups on site too <3 the breakfast was lavish and delicious five stars! The property was out of a postcard <3 would definitely recommend, cheers!

The property itself is stunning—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by incredible mountain views that make it easy to truly unwind. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail that really elevated the experience. Every morning, we looked forward to the homemade breakfast, which was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care—it was easily one of the highlights of our stay. What really sets Elk Trace apart, though, is the hospitality. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable and taken care of, offering great local recommendations and creating an atmosphere that feels both relaxing and personal. If you’re visiting Pagosa Springs and want a quiet, scenic, and welcoming place to stay, Elk Trace B&B is an absolute gem. We’ll definitely be coming back.
