Good: -Front desk staff was very nice and helpful -Beautiful lobby. -Small gym, but good equipment and well maintained. -Same with pool... small, but serviceable for the kiddos. -Easy, plentiful parking. -Spacious, comfortable room with nice furnishings, comfy bed, and two USB ports for charging. -In terms of food quality, breakfast was really solid Needs Improvement: -If a hotel switches to soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower, they MUST make sure they are working at ALL times. Out soap dispenser was broken. -They need to replace the woman they have doing breakfast and change their hours so they open at 6:AM instead of 7:AM. They literally keep it roped off until 7:AM, and on Saturday, the woman wasn't even ready at 7:AM. But I had to get my kids to their sports tournament. She would not let me grab some stuff to go at 6:55 AM, and then barked at me when I crossed the rope to grab some cinnamon buns to go at precisely 7:AM. When we got back at 12:30 PM, she was there cleaning up and I asked if I could have three little milk containers for the kids because the fridge was still locked at 7:AM, and she said "No. Closed." We went down the next day at 7:15 AM, and it was open but she was still not finished and setting up. Not the kind of person you want running the breakfast operation.

Great stay and will be staying again. Near Infinity nightclub for a night out. 15 min from downtown and 18 min from airport. Room was cleaned daily. Hot breakfast including omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits n gravy and more. Pool was wonderful! CLEAN! My kids enjoyed it. Highly recommend

The front to desk staff was very courteous, and breakfast was plentiful. The room was clean and cool, the only downside they cleaned the pool at 530 we had to wait to go into once we did the water was almost to cold to go in.

We came for a weekend with our six-year-old grandson primarily so he could enjoy the indoor pool. The property is immaculate and extremely comfortable! The pool was a good size for a small group of people and great for a six-year-old to paddle around in. Breakfast options were vast and the staff kept the breakfast area stocked and tidy. This was a great value, and we would definitely consider returning in the future.

The stay here was good. The place was clean, but there were a few things I saw like the bathroom shower had a few spots of stained caulk probably from mold that needs replacing. The shower head was not great especially for washing long thick hair it would make it harder to rinse out. I did like that they use dispenser pumps for body wash and shampoo and conditioner and hand soap and lotion. The bed and pillows were excellent and breakfast was very good. Many choices to choose from fruit, cereals, hot items and bread and pastries. The coffee is great and grinds beans fresh on the spot! Not a bad place to stay for overnight convenience.

We have stayed at many, many of these hotels and this one was disgusting! Everything in the room was filthy. The bedding, the walls, the floors! Also the fridge didn’t work so the front desk solution was to give us a key card for the empty room next door so we could just use the mini fridge. Dirty handprints everywhere, even in the shower! There was black mold/filth and a horrible smell! There was nobody at the front desk when we went to check out ir we would of complained and asked for a refund!

The hotel was conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Crystal. She provided great information about the area. The breakfast was good. There was a roach in my room. I was changed to another room. The second room had an issue with the heater (blowing cold air). I ended up covering the vent with a towel and weighted it down with an iron.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. But, the noises from doors slamming all night we didn't get much needed rest after driving for 14 hours. Very unhappy about that. Also, the lady at the check-in desk would not accommodate us as we are AARP members and said she couldn't sign us up for the reward program until after our stay, which I found ridiculous. She told us to go online to make our reservation and then it will give us the option to add the AARP discount, which it did not. When I told her that didn't work, she did not accommodate us what so ever. Because were so tired from traveling all day we didn't want to go looking for another hotel in an area we weren't formulary will location. Not to mention we were hungry. The reason we choose Holiday Inn Express is because we've stayed at them in different areas in the past and found them very enjoyable and clean. We'll stay again but not at the one in Charlotte.

The stay here was amazing. Staff were friendly. The room was spacious and just right for my family of 6. The breakfast was good. The indoor pool was nice. The hotel was very clean. The hotel is surrounded by a host of restaurants and other shopping. Highway is not to far.

Was told it was due to the fact that we used a third party for our reservation. The food was ok. Minimum options available. Would have liked more. The kitchen staff spoke little English, so there were times they seemed harsh and annoyed in their interactions. No comment on housekeeping since we kept or DND sign up but received extra towels when requested. Did not use hotel transportation. No issues with internet connection. Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious and relatively clean. Lobby was always clean and quiet even during the weekend breakfast which included a large crowd.

The hotel was clean and well kept. We were able to check in and out with ease. The best part of our stay was Crystal at the front desk. She was SO helpful and kind with anything we needed and she was very personable. She was amazing!

Our stay was perfect! We were greeted promptly and professionally when we arrived. Check in was quick. The hotel smells wonderful which is always a plus when entering any establishment. Our room was clean and stocked with all the essentials - I love that they use Dove products. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. I have nothing negative to say - highly recommend!

We didn’t stay here. We were coming in for a concert and the artist rescheduled the night before we were supposed to arrive. Hotels.com contacted the hotel to see if it was possible to reschedule the date or avoid the penalty. The hotel staff said no. I understand the rules, but I also believe in good customer service. I always read reviews before choosing my hotel always the bad ones. The room seemed to be very clean, and check in was fine. Well front my third party booker charged 200 more on my credit card. And I had to pay the hotel another $50 for their damage hold. I wish these fees are upfront for everyone to know. Luckily I was fine but others may not be and that’s not okay. Breakfast was stated in a review and not hot breakfast was available since the oven hasn’t been fixed. My overall rating would be between 7-8.
