The Veranda Historic Inn is an incredibly charming place. It's historic and that means you do not have some of the modern luxuries you might see in chain hotels or big brand lodging options, but that is the very reason we chose Veranda and they did not disappoint. While they are working on updates to the property, that I'm sure will enhance the experience, it was and excellent spot for us. Very warm, friendly and inviting place with all that we needed. Parking was easily accessible, safe and spacious. And the staff was very warm and welcoming. We highly recommend The Veranda!

This is the first time I have ever stayed in a B&B and it was beyond amazing! Robin and Paige made me feel right at home and were the friendliest people I have ever met. The breakfast was excellent and filling. I never wanted to leave. My room was roomy and comfortable and so beautiful. Sitting out of the front porch after a long day of touring the town and shopping was the best thing ever. I can not wait to stay here again. I can see this becoming a yearly tradition.

Parking is slightly hectic but that’s not entirely the case establishment, but I would recommend some sort of outline of parking. The only other thing is that a large trash can or medium sized trash can should be provided that can be opened or closed to help possible smells from the trash leaking out. Those are the only things that I believe are very minimal issues but can fixed generally easy and would make the residents stay slightly more pleasing and relaxing. BUT with those minor things out of the way I would like to say that this was the BEST trip of my entire life and these people were absolutely incredible, I felt like I was at home and the staff couldn’t be any better, I can’t wait to come back because I loved each and every person that I met and would genuinely like to see them again!❤️

Unique and beautiful. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Loved the porch swing, the library, and the authentic southern breakfast. Go on a weekend for the full breakfast experience.

Vi tok turen til Senoia bare for å oppleve en natt på dette historiske hotellet. Det svarte til forventningene, så langt fra de strømlinjede og upersonlige kjedehotellene som mulig. Arrived with no clue on how to get in the property. Other guest helped with getting access to building and room. Room was unclean. Bathroom door would not close and air vents made noises all night and above or heads when sleeping, not knowing of the dusts we inhaled. Creaking noises heard all night, which made sleeping difficult. In addition, we had to find supplies for the room. Breakfast was terrible, biscuits were hard and eggs was watery. The rooms needs to be gutted and remodeled.

We have stayed number of times and always had a great experience. Staff were extremely helpful but for the price, and it being advertised as a Bed and breakfast, was extremely disappointed to have a piece of fruit or a piece of croissant (that had been out from the day before) with no butter etc, was extremely disappointing. This should be made clear in the advertisement for the accommodation. Had always had a cooked breakfast before. Mattress was extremely hard and pillows left a lot to be desired. Really disappointed this time

Liked accessibility to downtown restaurants. Friendly staff. The building needs lots of refreshing and all the furnishings are old and uncomfortable to sit on. The antiques have not been refurbished.

Beautiful historic inn. Right near Main St where season 3 of the Walking Dead was filmed. I loved the Walking Dead themed little touches in the room as well. Also got to walk to Nick and Norman’s restaurant. (Daryl Dixon) The food was AMAZING! You must visit.

Beautiful historic inn that had so much charm!! Very friendly staff and right next to the town of Woodbury from The Walking Dead! If you’re a fan of the show, I highly recommend staying at the Veranda. It’s right there in the heart of Senoia!

The Inn is beautiful and the staff was very helpful! They made the best chocolate chip cookies for us and left them in our room! Would definitely return to stay here again! We stayed in the Margaret Mitchell room!

This being our first experience at a Bed & Breakfast, was truly a wonderful one. Our house person Robin was sweet,friendly, helpful, and great to talk to. We had great talks. The warmth of being at home , but not really. Breakfast was an awesome home cooked one. Truly a nice place to stay.

Beautiful historic inn. Right near Main St where season 3 of the Walking Dead was filmed. I loved the Walking Dead themed little touches in the room as well. Also got to walk to Nick and Norman’s restaurant. (Daryl Dixon) The food was AMAZING! You must visit.

This was a lovely stay, we would've stayed another night if we could. Not only is the inn super cute, the town itself is gorgeous and very easy for walking and shopping. Our host was very nice and even baked us cookies. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful historic inn that had so much charm!! Very friendly staff and right next to the town of Woodbury from The Walking Dead! If you’re a fan of the show, I highly recommend staying at the Veranda. It’s right there in the heart of Senoia!

This place is always awesome. I have stayed at it multiple times, and it is literally 90 yards from Main Street Senoia. It is very homey and beautiful.

About only place to stay in Senoia but great experience. Lots of history and well maintained with nice amenities but showing its age with sketchy electrical access. Worth the inconvenience for the experience. HUGE veranda for rocking and short block from the fun on Main Street. Full breakfast on weekends, which is excellent, but don’t plan on sleeping past 6:30 if your room is near the kitchen. Again, worth it.

I stayed here with my 3 kids. We stayed in room 9 called TWD as we were going on the walking dead tour the next day. I was sad we only booked for 1 night as the whole inn had so much character and the staff was wonderful. They were so sweet and helpful. I've already told my bf I want to go back and stay with him for a weekend. Highly recommend staying here. Oh and the breakfast they served was perfect. A nice light breakfast of bagels and fruit and juice and some other things. A must stay for sure!

We have stayed number of times and always had a great experience. Staff were extremely helpful but for the price, and it being advertised as a Bed and breakfast, was extremely disappointed to have a piece of fruit or a piece of croissant (that had been out from the day before) with no butter etc, was extremely disappointing. This should be made clear in the advertisement for the accommodation. Had always had a cooked breakfast before. Mattress was extremely hard and pillows left a lot to be desired. Really disappointed this time

The Verandah is a very special hotel in a perfect little town. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and wished that we could have stayed longer. It reminded us a little of the hotel in Groundhog day but rather smarter and more historic - staying here forever would certainly be more dream than nightmare. We met three members of staff and they could not have been more charming. We reserve our special thanks for Robyn who was so very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was very good, particularly the zucchini bread.

This is the first time I have ever stayed in a B&B and it was beyond amazing! Robin and Paige made me feel right at home and were the friendliest people I have ever met. The breakfast was excellent and filling. I never wanted to leave. My room was roomy and comfortable and so beautiful. Sitting out of the front porch after a long day of touring the town and shopping was the best thing ever. I can not wait to stay here again. I can see this becoming a yearly tradition.

Arrived with no clue on how to get in the property. Other guest helped with getting access to building and room. Room was unclean. Bathroom door would not close and air vents made noises all night and above or heads when sleeping, not knowing of the dusts we inhaled. Creaking noises heard all night, which made sleeping difficult. In addition, we had to find supplies for the room. Breakfast was terrible, biscuits were hard and eggs was watery. The rooms needs to be gutted and remodeled.

This being our first experience at a Bed & Breakfast, was truly a wonderful one. Our house person Robin was sweet,friendly, helpful, and great to talk to. We had great talks. The warmth of being at home , but not really. Breakfast was an awesome home cooked one. Truly a nice place to stay.

No amenities at all. It is not a bed and breakfast as advertised. Not even a cup of coffee. Toilets clog every time you use them. The beds are horrible uncomfortable. I picked the area rug up in the room and a hole in the floor. The whole place has just got lipstick put on it. The property could be be awesome if someone injected some CASH in it ! Way overpriced for what you get !

This is an old and large house - so it's not like a "hotel" but it's very charming. The amenities are what you would expect for a historic B&B. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Inn is located in walking distance from everything in downtown Senoia. We rented a golf cart but really didn't need it (although it was fun to drive it). I would recommend booking this place directly so that you can get more detailed information on the themed rooms (for example, they have a "Walking Dead" themed room, which was cool for my 15-year old who has just begun watching the series). We had a great time!
