Luminous and spacious room, with a small fridge and a microwave oven. no table or chair to sit, though. Clean and well stocked bathroom, very good hot water. There a nice gym available too. Poor internet connection over WiFi. Noisy street on weekend nights due to drivers honking their horns incessantly on slow traffic.

This property for claiming to be a four star was horrible. No adjustable lights to be able to see, the air conditioning was not working, there was no basic coffee/tea service in the room. You could not even get the front desk to answer when you called down.Terribly disappointed in the price of this hotel and the experience we had.

Stayed for 6 days. Jessy at front desk is fantastic. Easy check in, great location and walking distance to Times Square. Rooms are clean, gym is good and some nice little places close by for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you to Jessy for making our first trip to NYC a great one!

Hotel has a very unappealing and small lobby. It looks like a laundry establishment not a hotel lobby. The room was clean, small and the furniture was so so. Air conditioning was good. The hallway was dark and unappealing.

Ok location. Rooms do not block out outside noise especially if you are street facing I room swapped after first night. Aircon units in the 2 rooms were as well noisy. Staff are friendly no amenities worth mentioning miss some of the simplest things like kettle cofffee and tea making options. As well unfortunately a $2 per bag storage fee for guests is not justified as is the incidental holding deposit as there is literally nothing that can be charged to the room. Otherwise if looking for clean comfortable well priced and larger rooms in NYC THIS IS recommended .

The trust hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything inside is brand new and clean and they cleaned our room every single day and brought us extra towels and everything we needed. We were 5 minutes from the subway, and same distance to Times Square and it seemed all the hotels were close together. The only thing that was a disappointment was that they only have 4 floors of hotel now so all the reviews that mentioned the rooftop and breakfast were completely irrelevant! It’s now a condo. But our stay was perfect and we would stay there again.

Lastly, I was not satisfied with this hotel due to cleanliness (walls dirty), no amenities, no rooftop no lobby area, no bar, an obstructive view. The hotel only goes to the 4th level, no coffee available in the rooms or breakfast available for guest. No working tv channels and the channels that were available you couldn’t see, the resolution was red and blurred and most channels wouldn’t show at all. The bed was very low to the floor, uncomfortable, with very little walking room between beds and because of the spacing, I injured my left leg not once but twice. (Photo attached big green bruise). The shower and bathroom rusted. I booked this room “pay later at the location” and instead the hotel debited my account two days prior without notification. This was not communicated to me at any time and had I not received a fraudulent alert from my bank, I would’ve been stranded with no place to stay in NYC bc the hotel clerk stated they wouldn’t have been able to hold my room without full payment even though it was booked to pay later at the location. Very deceiving and unprofessional. The only staff members that was very nice and I would like to say thank you for your hospitality, is Jess and Shavon. Although this hotel was not what I expected and was recommended, you were amazing. Best of Luck to you both!

This is most definitely not a 4* hotel. Rooms were tired and the bathroom just didn’t look clean with black mould around the shower area zero hot water no hot water at all duvets looked stained.

Rooms were great. Bathrooms were great. Very spacious. Looks a little run down but isn’t. Could use a little updating. The curtains in windows were stained and need to be replaced. Lots of dust in the ceilings and corners. Other than that the room worked out great.

We loved staying here. The room was really clean, and I loved that the floors were not carpeted in the room (no yucky carpet). The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was pretty quiet although it is in the city so you can’t expect silence (I brought a sound machine). I definitely recommend this hotel!

Staff was friendly at check-in, and the property was close to Times Square/other midtown attractions. Negative things: bathroom floor was moldy showing poor upkeep, the drain was clogged when we take showers as well. We alerted the front desk of the clogging issue, and their response was "too bad, so sad, we will call the serviceman the next day" - well, no one came by to fix the issue.

Overall this was a good experience, with helpful staff and no problems during the stay. As expected for New York the room was fairly small ( 2 x double beds ) so didn’t leave loads of room for much else, bathroom was a good size. Had a fridge and shelf style desk. TV was a good size with plenty of channels. Beds were comfortable and no complaints here. Would have benefited from a suitcase stand, but due to space this isn’t possible. Few marks and imperfections as you’d expect from wear and tear. Location was ok, but this certainly isn’t the nicest part of Manhattan, with New York’s homeless problem evident around the property. However we did not have any issues but would describe ourselves as street smart. Those less confident might feel vulnerable late at night, and I wouldn’t let this put you off, just be aware if your planning on walking around a lot, also isn’t the closest to a subway station so again be aware of this.

We had an OK stay at the Truss Hotel but for the money you can find better. Overall the hotel is looking tired and in need of some TLC and whilst in good proximity to Times Square, had a fair amount of homelessness in close proximity. So the positives:The staff on reception were very welcoming, the room was a good size for new york and the bed were pretty comfortable. The negatives: the rooms are in bed of redecorating, the bathrooms are getting mouldy around the shower with tiles missing, there's no light natural or otherwise it's quite dark and as the room overlooked a restaurant there was a fake leaf wall blocking any view/light and we were unable to open the blind. But worse of all is the noise from the aircon it sounds like your powering the entire building. So you won't get a peaceful nights sleep and you can't switch it off and choose to bake instead.

One of the more affordable places I've stayed in NYC recently, and I was pleasantly surprised by the room! It was clean and surprisingly spacious. The walls are a bit thin so there can be a bit of noise bleeding, but overall this wasn't an issue. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helped me arrange transportation to the airport. Walkable to Port Authority Bus Terminal/42 St. station. I would definitely stay here again, and hope to do so!

Room was in rough shape and had a fake window. no fan in the bathroom and hallway smelled terrible. Its a skeleton crew of employee but those working at reception were outstanding. The location is in Hell's Kitchen, despite the name. Not the safest of areas for walking at night.

Was close to Times Square and places to eat, and was a reasonable price. Lights difficult to work - headboard light randomly switched on and off, once at 4 am. Staff forgot to provide enough towels on first 2 days but this was quickly rectified. Could not roll up one of the window blinds despite trying extensively. Good amount of storage space in wardrobe and bathroom.

The location was perfect - close enough to walk to Broadway shows in 15 minutes, yet far enough away that it's out of the craziness. The front desk team was wonderful (thanks again Luz, you're a gem!). I'll definitely be staying here again in the future.

Absolutely loved our stay. We stayed as a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids both the kids had birthdays whilst we stayed here. Upon arrival we was greeted by Jesse who has excellent customer service experience. She wished both girls a happy birthday and gave us an upgrade to suite which was massive when we entered the room it had been decorated with ballooons, banners and bunting which truly added a real touch. Both girls were thrilled as was me and mum. Thank you Jessy !!! Over all the hotel is really clean and rooms were cleaned daily, you don’t wait for lifts and when in the lifts they are really quick to arrive at your floor, hotel is in a great location with just a 10 min walk to time square and all the hussle and bussle. Plenty of stores to eat and drink when you step out the hotel.

I loved staying here. The staff was top notch, genuinely made it feel like you were staying somewhere that they take pride in, made us feel comfortable instantly and continued that for the entire stay. It is a couple blocks from the subway but I never felt unsafe walking there. If you need ice, ask the front desk and they will bring you a bucket of ice, they have bottled water at the front desk at all times. It was never an issue if I needed extras of anything in the room and the housekeeping staff had our room smelling amazing every day. Beds were super comfortable, room was bigger than I anticipated, walls were a little scuffed up but didn’t feel dirty or gross. Fridge and microwave in the room, window view of the street from our room. Could hear street traffic but not enough to disturb us. Hotel overall very quiet, easy to get an elevator and rarely saw other people in the hallway. Would 100% stay here again.

The front desk staff was great! They all greeted us every time we came in or out. They also offered us bottled water. The location was perfect for our first trip to NYC. It put us right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. The room though small, which we expected in NYC, was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was the TV would connect to the internet but they fixed it. The highlight of our stay was Luce at the front desk. She was so kind and gracious. One evening after my families' dinner we talk for quite a while about what my family had done and about her experience as a NY local. She was a gem! Take care of her and don't let her go!

We were really impressed with the room. Clean and felt recently updated. The bathroom was spotless. We used the 24hour deli across the street for food and drinks. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Port Authority Bus Terminal which is a major Subway hub as well.

The mattress was too soft. Pillows too firm. Ninth Ave is a VERY busy road. Expect a lot of street noise- sirens and honking all night long. Bring ear plugs if this bothers you because it will be loud.

Great location. Don’t let the reception area or elevator (all black interior) scare you. Room was spacious and clean. Walkable to time square and many other locations. Across the street are two great breakfast/bagel places. There is a small fee to store your luggage after check out. Free water bottles at front desk.

I travel to NY regularly and this is in a great location because it's a few blocks away from Times Square so you don't get the noise but a short walk. It is more neighborhood than touristy with several stores and restaurants across the street and down the block. Also very safe. Front desk was very helpful. Would definitely return.

A no-nonsense hotel room for a quick sightseeing trip to NYC. Friendly & helpful staff all around. Breakfast & dinner options right across the street. 10min walk to Amtrak, 15min walk to Times Square, 20min walk to Rockefeller Center. Clean, quiet rooms. Daily housekeeping service was a nice surprise.

The neighborhood was perfect for a quick visit to the city to catch a show. Close enough for a quick walk, yet far enough that it was quiet and not so touristy. Be sure to grab an espresso martini and a bite across the street at Nittis.

The place was very convenient. Their bathroom would benefit from an upgrade. The shower was not looking good. Room was ok another chair or bench would be a nice addition. Loved the location and proximity to broadway and time square. Also there’s a deli across the street that had really good food and fresh squeezed juices…

The trust hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything inside is brand new and clean and they cleaned our room every single day and brought us extra towels and everything we needed.
