Hotel is in a nice part of Brooklyn with lots of food options. Unfortunately on Friday and Saturday night there is a music venue next door that goes until 3:00-4:00 am so sleep was difficult those nights

The hotel is nice but the rooms are terrible. The rooms are too small, no closet, bathroom is in two sections with no place to hang a towel, etc.

The room is incredibly poorly designed. There are only four hooks and three hangers to store things on – that includes clothes, jackets, and towels. The only surface in the room besides two tiny bedside tables is the sink. The shower smells strongly of sewage, and the odor spreads into the room. We asked for an extra duvet for the room, and it took several days to resolve despite speaking with the reception multiple times. When we finally received something, it was a large bag with several duvets but no linens. We then had to keep asking for that for several more days. Our room was not cleaned during the first two days, and we had to actively go down to the reception at 5 pm every day to ask for it to be cleaned. Eventually, a manager explained that they have 300 rooms and only manage to clean them “every so often.” The rest of the staff gave contradictory information about policies and spoke poorly about the cleaning staff. With a few exceptions, the service was at best inconsistent and poor, and at worst the staff were quite rude. The only positive aspect is the hotel’s location, which is within walking distance of two good subway lines.
