Used hotels tonight to book ended up paying through Expedia at the hotel.? Come to find out there was no resort fee if booked directly with the hotel. We needed an extra night our 3rd party,Hotel Tonight tried to charge me double the nightly rate, Do not use Hotels Tonight go directly to 42 Hotel, way better rates and no charge for the amenities. Plus incentives and discounts for future stays!

When we checked into our room we noticed the air conditioner wasn't working right. We notified the front desk and they sent a maintenance person right away. After he determined it wasn't working right he checked other rooms and found us one with an excellent working air conditioner. We exchanged rooms and had no other issues. We've stayed here once before. The hotel is in a nice location, it's quiet, and most of all the staff are pleasant and helpful. That includes the front desk, restaurant and bar, and the maintenance guy. We'll be visiting New York again and this will be at the top of list for our next visit.
