The property is very nice and well maintained. It seems secluded, but it really isn't. It is a quick drive to Annapolis and about an hour to Washington DC. The staff is fantastic and goes out of their way to resolve any issues. The pool is clean. The rooms that we had (102 and 209) are big and comfy. I would stay again.

This on was built in 1820 and because it is on the historic register, an elevator was never added. We had to drag luggage up to the third floor. One if our party uses a walker and getting up the stairs was grueling for him. Hotels that are not handicap accessible should be duly noted!

It was an amazing romantic stay! However, there was a wedding on the property during our stay which we were not informed of in advance. There were reports from staff that we would need to exit the pool and outside amenities before the wedding started at 5 pm. This was disappointing given we were not told this until check-in. Overall, great stay! The Bartenders were wonderful!

I stayed here for a quick overnight and did not utilize many of the amenities however, the staff was incredibly kind overall and with tips on dinner. This place is historic, which is a nice way of saying old but classic. Don’t expect a huge room, the photos portray the room accurately. Some things were a little rickety, but everything was clean. Overall I recommend this if you’re solo or a couple looking for a place as you enjoy the bay.

The staffs are welcoming and friendly. The place is nice and clean. The restaurant serves the best food and drink you could ever find. The room is spacious and clean. I mean the resort is the best place i’ve ever stayed at. I would definitely recommend that anyone should check it out. The restaurant I will recommend any local to stop by and have dinner.

The Resort is old. We were in a third floor room, so the ceiling was slanted, and it was small. It seemed very plain. I expected much more for the price we paid. The room itself was meh. The inn looks so beautiful and quaint from the outside but the room decor looked like a hospital. No color, no art, no coziness whatsoever. For the price, it should have been more welcoming. Public transport to and fro was lacking big time too. 😞 It was very clean and convenient because we attended a wedding there but at the price, we expected much more

The staff and setting was very nice. We stayed on the 1st floor which was a bit noisy due to its proximity to the lobby and you could hear people walking upstairs. Will stay on the 2nd floor if we go back.

The property is very unique because it is a renovated 1820s estate. The renovations are excellent except for sound transmission. They could use some more options to fill air gaps. The ground are delightful. Would consider going back again.

Very attractive building and grounds. Staff was great including front desk people and especially our last server at the restaurant, Chastity; she was great. As far as the hotel, they had 2 weddings each of the two nights we stayed there. Our room faced the reception tent of one of them. The music was so loud we could not get sleep until 11pm when it stopped at which point many of the guests decided to run up and down the short hallway for another 1/2 hour banking on doors and talking loudly. Before the 2nd night, I asked the staff if they could put up a sign reminding guests to be reasonably quiet and the answer was, no, that's not possible. Not a place to go on a weekend if you're looking for quiet and a bedtime before 11:30pm. Food was very good and the bathroom was nice. Bed was comfy.

This is a really special property. A girlfriend and I got away for a night without the kids and found the historic property and the sprawling estate where it sits to be a perfect escape. The service was very friendly and attentive, the rooms lovely, the bar open at 12pm, and dinner delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

After staying many times at a brand motel in the area, I will never again make that mistake and will definitely choose Kent Island resort! The beds are amazingly comfortable and the room and resort were wonderful!!!! The grounds were gorgeous and you feel secluded but in 5 minutes your in the middle of everything you need!! Highly, highly recommend!!

The hotel was beautiful! It is seated back on a quiet piece of land with a neighborhood in front of it so the area is very safe. The hotel charm was obvious the second you pull in. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable and every detail was thought about. I returned for 2 more visits because my work trip kept extending if that says anything about how much I like it there. There is no elevator so if mobility is an issue that would be a concern and I wish there was an in room safety latch for the door just for piece of mind, not because I felt unsafe there. I will 100% be returning anytime I am working on the shore.

It’s called a resort but the restaurant and bar are closed, which wasn’t clear when I booked. So it’s just a motel. Disappointing.

It was an amazing romantic stay! However, there was a wedding on the property during our stay which we were not informed of in advance. There were reports from staff that we would need to exit the pool and outside amenities before the wedding started at 5 pm. This was disappointing given we were not told this until check-in. Overall, great stay! The Bartenders were wonderful!

This is a really special property. A girlfriend and I got away for a night without the kids and found the historic property and the sprawling estate where it sits to be a perfect escape. The service was very friendly and attentive, the rooms lovely, the bar open at 12pm, and dinner delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed during the early week. The staff at Kent Island Resort were welcoming and very helpful. The manor is surrounded by nature and was beautifully renovated and expanded- both the common areas and rooms. The restaurant had great food and a range of options as did the bar. The only missing dining element during the week is breakfast but there are 2 places within a 2 mile drive. Due to weather we did not use the pool or hire a captain to take us on a boat ride. It is peaceful and quiet during the week and not much activity so bring books or games . It is mostly an events/ wedding venue on weekends. It was an enjoyable 3 day stay with lots to do and see within a 30-45 min drive. I would recommend for a relaxed stay.

The building itself is in wonderful condition for its age. It’s a very charming property and the staff is helpful and accommodating. We came to stay in 100+ degree weather and when there was an issue with the AC in our room not being able to keep up (understandable) they moved things around to get us into another room even though it was the busy 4th July weekend. We were super thankful for their willingness to help. The toiletries are great, organic coffe in the rooms, and I really appreciated the in-room clothes steamer. The husband and kids had a tasty meal at the restaurant as well. Peter was super helpful.
