Very clean, great staff. The location is perfect is the old quarter near everything. The only thing is that there is not much space for breakfast. Small room and when everyone goes at same time, there is no table left. Some platters are empty sometimes so I think there should maybe be one more person to take care of the food

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable à l'hôtel Royal Palace ! L'hôtel est situé en plein cœur du quartier ancien, ce qui signifie que tout ce dont nous avions besoin était à quelques pas seulement. We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is just amazing and so personable. The rooms are generous in size with a very comfortable bed. We stayed one night at this hotel while touring Hanoi and then used this hotel as our base as we traveled to back and forth to Sapa and Halong Bay. Because would miss breakfast since took a night train, the hotel staff provided us with boxed meal for the train. Such a nice welcome back both times and rooms were ready with our stored luggage already in room. The manager and other staff greeted us by name the entire time which is quite impressive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of offerings and additionally could special order from menu. Everything was delicious. Personal service with coffee as well was a very nice touch as used to self serve. Highly recommend the Royal Palace Hotel. Conveniently located in old quarter for walking to shopping and dining.

to be honest, not the best room… kind of funny bedding without a top sheet, just an ill fitting duvet.. but very large bed for those who would like a large bed. No bedside table and hard to reach an outlet to charge my phone. No bedside table either, which is odd for a hotel. On the positive side it was a good location and the room was quiet on away from the street, but with no view obviously. The service and staff was top-notch. small but very good bathroom with very hot water, which was fantastic.

I only stayed here for 1 night as a solo traveller but it was genuinely an extremely pleasant experience. All the staff were accommodating and friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I got caught in the rain after checking out and the staff gave me a towel, shower and even a hot tea whilst I dried off. They also helped me with getting my clothes cleaned whilst I waited for my bus to ha giang. The location is absolutely perfect. Would highly recommend staying here.

The customer service here at this hotel was exceptional! The staff is the most friendly and helpful you can find anywhere in the world. From breakfast with Anna looking after us, to Angela and Jimmi at reception, who were so helpful, it was such a pleasant stay. Will be back!

Great hotel, best location, super helpful staff. Special mention for Celina (customer care), Jimmi & Mimi all other staff were also very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Stones throw away from Hoan Kiem lake. Jennie helped us book the Halong bay cruise and also helped us even before we took our flight from India.

Plus important encore, je ne peux pas assez louer le personnel : Mme Jenney a géré toutes mes dispositions complexes rapidement et efficacement, avec ses collègues charmants Linh, Celena, Jimmy et le reste de l'équipe. Ensemble, ils ont fait de ma première visite à Hanoï un véritable plaisir.

The location is right where you want to be, fringe of old quarter onto the lake just round the corner. No need taxi, everything locally is walkable. Secondly, the staff are fantastic, just so friendly and enthusiastic, nothing seemed too much trouble.

The hotel was right in the heart of old town quarters so lots and lots of local food, coffee and shops right outside the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and polite every time you saw them. Beds were comfortable and clean. The hotel had am interesting decor to it which made it feel unique and cosy.

The place is perfect because it's near night market but the only downside is that when the night market starts, the roads are closed and you cannot grab car from the hotel and have to walk a really short distance to the main road, but it's not a deal breaker.

Very clean, great staff. The location is perfect is the old quarter near everything. The only thing is that there is not much space for breakfast. Small room and when everyone goes at same time, there is no table left. Some platters are empty sometimes so I think there should maybe be one more person to take care of the food

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of most major attractions. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices, including delicious local foods.

The room was very comfortable, the staff were very polite and the breakfast was nice with a good variety. The location is great for taking a short walk to a few touristy areas / shops. The Banh Mi shop just on the corner of the street was very good.

I would like to start by saying that the staff were nice and helpful. But that is also the most positive thing I have to say about this hotel. We had booked our hotel room from January 10, 2026. I had contacted the hotel in advance that we would not arrive until early in the morning on January 11. But they had rented our room to someone else. We were assigned a family room without any windows. We could not get the room we had booked until after 12:00. We had booked a room with a "city view". But the only thing we had a view of was a wall. Maybe they should have just written that the room has a window. The breakfast buffet has a limited selection and twice during our stay we could not get a table and had to go out to eat.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is just amazing and so personable. The rooms are generous in size with a very comfortable bed. We stayed one night at this hotel while touring Hanoi and then used this hotel as our base as we traveled to back and forth to Sapa and Halong Bay. Because would miss breakfast since took a night train, the hotel staff provided us with boxed meal for the train. Such a nice welcome back both times and rooms were ready with our stored luggage already in room. The manager and other staff greeted us by name the entire time which is quite impressive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of offerings and additionally could special order from menu. Everything was delicious. Personal service with coffee as well was a very nice touch as used to self serve. Highly recommend the Royal Palace Hotel. Conveniently located in old quarter for walking to shopping and dining.
