A non-smoking room that stunk of cigarettes, the roaches in the bathroom, the carpet that, for some reason, stayed wet from the moment I walked into the moment I left... this place was generally everything you'd expect from an extraordinarily low-budget motel. Nothing redeemable here. Serves me right for trying to save some money.

Owners/ management were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were mostly clean and beds were comfortable. It was a last minute stay as our other reservation fell through. Lodge was affordable and convenient distance from our day trip at Kalahari. Their best selling point is definitely their 5☆ service!! Would stay again!

Worst motel ever. Do not go here. Crazy guy was outside yelling at himself and yelling at my family. Staff did not care and shooed my family away. Room was dirty and the bathroom was in terrible condition. My family felt very unsafe at the properly and left within 10 minutes. I want a full refund

I believe the good ratings and reviews for this property is by family and friends. I have never been to a hotel as bad as this one. Around the building looks like a 1970 motel. The inside of the room was absolutely the worst! It reeks of cigarette smoke, the pillows had stains on them. The toilet was dirty, as if son one came to clean it. The rug was completely dirty and the walls were filthy. I left after 5 mins of being there because of all the reasons above and more, not to mention that due to health reasons, i cannot be in a room that reeks of cigarettes and the front desk oerson told me that I cannot be refunded my money. I would be cautious of paying to stay at this property until you actually see it, because they know what it looks like and you WONT be refunded.

We liked that it was clean. We didn’t like that it was very cold in the room when we got there and also there wasn’t a Bible anywhere in the room.

This motel is old. Evethting besides the tv reminds you of a horror movie. Found roaches in the bathroom. Bathroom towels was dirty and the bathroom still had hair all over the sink. Tub has dirt all over the shower curtains. Lights did not work. And staff was unwilling to do anything about it.

One of the room smelled like mold. Heavy musty mildew mold smell. The bathroom was even worse , the rooms were suposed to be non-smoking, but smelled like cigarette smoke anyways. The pillows smelled like they were cleaned with some sort of air freshener spray, but still had a sweaty smoke smell.

This property was very very nasty , had roches smelled like cigarettes while it said no smoking, the bed sheets had burnt holes on them and yellow stains so gross . NEVER coming back this made us rethink about going back home or getting a different hotel. The main office guy gave us new rooms since there was so refund i had paid 2 nights that where closer to the office i guess those where newer didn’t see roches first night but the next morning it had little baby roches creeping in. I definitely do not recommend

Took a chance. Rate was high for a motel but saw it included breakfast. Room was...ok. Aging but clean. Unable to use wifi. Cable TV limited to a few channels. Then there was that breakfast. It consisted of a banana and a super sweet roll..oh and coffee. Tasted bad. When I spilled it out into the sink was full of black bits. Not sure if it was the coffee grinds or something. If the rate was lower might be a good deal

Check in was quick and staff were friendly. They are under new ownership and doing updates presently. Got to our room and room appeared clean but very musty odor. We asked for another room and got a similar room with new flooring. Smelled better so we took it. Room hardly had any outlets for devices and no hangers to hang clothing, no samples of shampoo and no extra toilet paper. We only stayed 2 nights but don’t think we will return til updating is completed.

How there is A empty room above 110 and in that same bathroom there is a non working vent that you see a blue light blink randomly and the door doesn't even lock and have a inch gap so you just see someone passing all night while your trying to sleep

Aside from the amount of negative reviews that i read prior to booking this trip I still booked it anyway because the price was decent enough for my boyfriend and I to have our own little couples getaway. We got there and were instantly greeted by the owner who was very kind and helpful. When we got to our room it was very clean and had a very homey and cozy feeling to it which was a definite plus in our book, we had a little trouble getting the tv to work so my boyfriend had to call the front desk, within a few minutes the owner was at the door and helped get the issue resloved and gave us very informative insights to what was around since it was our first time in the area. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here and we enjoyed our time away and i would definitely book here again if we are ever in the area again. Thank you so much to night lodge for the excellent service, clean environment and the friendly experience.

When i reached there for checkin at 8 Pm, the manager said, they were overbooked and dont have any room for me even i have confirmed reservation with them. I had to struggle finding the room that night which costed me allot more.

The staff was very friendly. What I didn’t like was that I told the lady in the front desk that I took the garbage out and put it outside of my room and it was not picked up at all. It stood there outside for two days
