Cool boutique hotel in a walkable neighborhood. Wonderful staff and easy onsite parking. Great cocktail bar across the street. One brewery literally a few hundred feet away with another a few walkable blocks further. Cool food hall right up the street. Room is nicely appointed and a good size. Great shower.

Everything top to bottom was wonderful at The Casso. The room was on the 7th floor worh a great view, especially at sunrise and sunset. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The standouts were Chros and Kayley the bartenders. They are truly outstanding people. We wouod definitely stay again and look forward to doing so soon.

Food and drinks were great. Hotel aesthetics is cute and modern. You have to $18 for parking overnight. Bed was too firm to my liking. It gets loud and noisy at night til 3 am. It could be because it is in downtown Raleigh or just no soundproofing. You can hear loud music, loud possibly drunk people at 3am.

I absolutely love this hotel. It is very chic and well appointed the only drawback is the parking is in a garage that does not have lobby entrance so you have to go outside to the sidewalk to come inside to the lobby of the hotel.

Restaurant and bar on the property were enjoyable. I definitely look forward to staying here again. Downtown being so close and being able to walk to bars or enjoy nearby restaurants is a huge plus.

Shabbier than I expected for $400/night. Back of the alarm clock was dented. Bottom of the lamp was peeling. Blackout curtains were broken on the top edge and didn’t fully close, in a part of downtown where there are lights on 24/7. Rug had a tear that had been mended and was under the bed but still easily visible. Toilet was finicky, generally needed two flushes to work. Shower had a slight mildew smell. Garbage had not been emptied - there was a nearly full soda bottle and luggage tags left in the bin and also and empty water bottle under the bed when we arrived (at 8:30PM, so we were not an early check-in that would have rushed housekeeping). WiFi is included, but parking and breakfast are an additional cost. The beds were comfortable for sleep, and the hotel served my needs for this one-night stay, but it did not seem at all a good value for the money. Perhaps that’s just the Raleigh market, but I’d stay somewhere different next time I’m in the area.

The room on the 2nd floor was quite loud with near street level motorcycles. I played my white noise app through the tv to help sleep. Otherwise a charming, lovely place, including friendly staff.

Disappointed to have to pay for parking. Very clean and fun hotel atmosphere. The shower head did not have strong pressure and some of the nozzles in the shower head were clogged so water spray wasn’t greatest. Bed and pillow quality were excellent but not thick sheets nor was there comforter. The walls in the room seemed thin because we were able to hear neighbors talking next door (or close to our room). Nice TV and Internet speed. Room seemed slightly smaller than expected from online pictures but well furnished and felt like quality. Located in downtown so good location to depart from when exploring the city.

Room service was quick but food was disappointing. Half the rooms back up to a railroad that is quite active. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Gave me wrong directions to my exam. They have a little convenience store that’s open 24/7 but was not stocked with any basics. They were out of most toiletries including toothbrush/toothpaste and when I realized that at 10pm, they had no suggestions on where to go to buy one.

The Casso was a lovely place to stay for our quick visit. We were pleased upon arrival with the staff at the front desk who assisted us. We were also very pleased by the bar staff.. Demetric and Ryan provided exceptional service by engaging in conversations and kept us entertained while we sat at the bar. They showed outstanding hospitality. The staff at the front desk were amazing, my view was awesome, my specific perfect bed is very very soft and this was medium, to each their own, but over all I slept well. My fan in the bathroom did not work so the front desk brought me one, I would suggest some white noise machine or a fan to turn on in the room for sleeping.

Very helpful staff, comfortable bed and modern design. Convenient to the Amtrak station and St Mary’s. Surprisingly, The room did not have an iron, just a steamer. I needed to iron my clothes for a formal event but made do with the steam thing.

Excellent hotel. Front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. The restaurant was fantastic. Taylor, our waiter both days, was the best. She made a special kids drink "The Taylor Special" that our daughter loved. She made it fun to dine. The food was phenomenal and well prepared. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will stay here again.

This is currently my new favorite hotel in NC. The design is fresh, clean, smart with no signs of aging or wear. The food is so good if you want to stay in for a staycation (what my husband and I did for our anniversary- from Durham) you could do that and not have to leave. We had no plans to eat there all weekend, and yet we only ate somewhere else for 1 of 5 meals because frankly the restaurant and beverage service lacked nothing. Christopher is an AMAZING human. My husband and I hung out and read and worked from the bar all morning yesterday just enjoying time with him. The kindness and sincerity of every staff member truly made Casso stand out as a reason to revive the hotel industry. The bedding was soft and clean and the right weight and the pillows were perfect. The housekeeping staff were friendly and kind as well. If you pass this spot over for food or lodging it will be your loss.
