This is an OLD property with a facelift. No elevator. It was very clean,water hot with good pressure.breakfast sparce. People very nice and accommodating. BUT….. NO elevator.

The lobby was ok with signs of roof leaks, damaged ceiling tile, and could use a good coat of paint. the room was not much different, floors in the bathroom needed to be swept and hair from previous guest still in the floor. Bed was clean but the room needs repairs and updating. Breakfast was less than expected, no coffee, very little to eat.

The breakfast was a continental breakfast with grits, selection of bagels, coffee and juices. The parking lot was safe with lots of security cameras, however a gas station was adjacent to the hotel.

The Lobby of the hotel is kept in very good condition. Continental Breakfast not much to talk about. Room had broken ac/heat unit. Felt like it wasn't taking out the humidity. It was very damp in the room and shabby. We had to park around the building to access the room. We wouldn't stay there again

The outside of the property could use a refurbishing, but the inside was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for the price. The only thing is it is by a gas station and it was noisy at some times of the night.

The minute you walked through the lobby to the reception desk, we noticed some renovations were taking place. The young lady who checked us in was as friendly and courteous as you could ask for. Then, we made our way to the second floor where our "newly renovated" room awaited. The walkway, stairs and walls were filthy. As we entered our room, first glance was ok. Then we noticed no safety latch was mounted on the inside of the door, bedskirt was filthy, arms to the sofa were filthy, furniture was beat up and scarred, only one nightstand, mold and mildew in the shower/tub combination, had to call for a remote control, 1 unopened and partially used roll of toiletpaper, the drain plug in the shower/tub was broken and would come completely out. We rested the best we could and left quickly the next morning. The next night, our accommodations were in Anderson, SC. We paid $21 more through hotel.com and the accommodations were like night and day compared to this hotel in Madison.

The room was disgusting. The bathtub had hair all in it. The stopper was out. The chrome was all rusted. Baseboards were filthy. I did not notice this intil the morning since I came in at midnight and went straight to sleep.

It was pretty bad. The front desk woman was nice and the sheets seemed to be clean but it's hard to be confident in that when everything else was so bad. A literal hole in the wall as well as dirt/liquid on the walls throughout, missing paint in places. Broken toilet paper holder. Filthy exhaust fan cover. Black mold in the corner of the bath tub / shower and missing battery / power supply to fire alarm so that wasn't even operational.

This hotel was really dirty. The room was not effectively cleaned. Dirt left in the corners, and even the tray, that goes under the ice. TV didn't work. Had to run down the person working to get it rectified. Trash stacked in walkways. Very uncomfortable stay.

After Che k in. We went to our room and found hair in the shower and underneath the sheets. So we went back to desk. She showed us 3 more rooms all with hair in the shower finally the desk clerk got the housekeeping staff to clean bathroom. The beds were ugh. The plastic cover under sheets were ripped and the bottom sheet wouldn’t stay on. Terrible experience

The room needs an upgrade. The refrigerator would come out when trying to open it. The mirror was cracked. The sofa was torn up and sitting on a piece of wood that wasn’t nailed together. Bugs were in the room. Bathroom was hard to close. The price was outrageous over $200 for these conditions.

1st room given we couldn’t figure out how to get into it because it was so dark because the light wasn’t working on the outside. Once inside the room, the air conditioner was filthy, there was a hole in the wall where the smoke detector should be and there was no shower curtain. We were given another room then. In the second room, we could not get the tv to work and the front desk clerk had to come and swap out the remote and box. Killed some mystery bug on the curtain and then we noticed the room also was missing a smoke detector (and had a hole there). My daughter walked twice across the room in white socks and they were no longer close to white on the bottom. We checked out and canceled our second planned night. Had to cough up the price of the first night and only spent 1 1/2 hrs on property. Let’s hope I see a refund of the second night on my card. 0 stars. Do not recommend at all!!

When I got into the room, it was so outdated. The furniture looked like it came from a thrift store there were so many scuffs. The hardware to the fixtures were unattached (shower head, 2 lamps) and looked like one of the legs to the chair was unattached. The TV was so small, looked like a computer monitor. The truck that was parked literally 5 feet from my window started at 4:45 am and the headlamps shown through the skimpy curtains will truck was warming up for 45 minutes. All this for almost the price of a nicer motel.

Room only had a bolt lock on the door. There was no additional way to secure it once inside. Plastic sheets where torn and very crinkly while the actual sheets didnt seem to fit correctly. And popped off. Pillows were either lumpy or flat. Bedding was just not good. It was clean, and generally quiet. Air conditioner made a horrible rattling ice sound all night but it was cool. I mean in a pinch it worked but would expect to pay half that for this calliber hotel. It was giving Rosebud motel

Air conditioning made a door squeaking sound when it would shut off. Had to ask for bulbs for lamps and some plugs didn’t work. Service was friendly and check was great. I didn’t get photos I have already left

Awful! The person checking me in only communicated when necessary. No chit chat, long periods of complete silence. Barkin German Shepherd next door, waking me several times in the night. I require electricity at the bedside each night. The plug did not function and was exposed, no plate covering it. My cord was long but I had to sleep vertically on the bed to use the plug under the desk at the foot of the bed. There was no toilet paper holder, only evidence that maybe there was one previously. The furniture looked as though it had been purchased at a garage sale. These are the things that cause nightmares. Leaving one with a healthy dose of Hotel PTSD. Bad night explains it all, pretty much. 😩😩😩

Toilet wouldn’t flush in original room that they put me in and the floor was filthy, I found that out by walking on it barefoot. They did put me in another room which was better but the whole place is run down and needs desperate attention. Staff wasn’t bad. No free breakfast the next morning.

Killed a few roaches, but other than that it was clean. Reception was friendly, and checkin was smooth. There was a short in the lights, so it flickered throughout the night. I had a drink or five, so it felt like a disco strobe light.

Mostly I am taken aback by the appearance in the parking lot and outside the rooms of the other guests. They are construction workers, and construction workers always look rough. And unfortunately, these areas are effectively their home. The place is very run down. Location is convenient off hwy 20 but next to a sketchy gas station and Waffle House. Poorly kept building. It was a clean room considering the age, but there was no mattress cover, just sheets. Had to go to the front counter for cups and toilet paper. Breakfast included lots of breads and yogurt. Coffee ends with breakfast. $90.

The outside of the property could use a refurbishing, but the inside was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for the price. The only thing is it is by a gas station and it was noisy at some times of the night.

The receptionist was amazing. There was food on the floor of the room. I had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper. Noisy neighbors woke me up at 3:00 AM. Endless truck traffic on the highway.

The lobby was ok with signs of roof leaks, damaged ceiling tile, and could use a good coat of paint. the room was not much different, floors in the bathroom needed to be swept and hair from previous guest still in the floor. Bed was clean but the room needs repairs and updating. Breakfast was less than expected, no coffee, very little to eat.

For the price we paid for it, it was not a bad hotel. The bed was comfortable but the ac needed some repairs. It started making clicking noises around 1am. It needed a bit more cleaning in the showers and on the back of the door. Overall, the staff was super friendly and it had a decent breakfast.

Toilet wouldn’t flush in original room that they put me in and the floor was filthy, I found that out by walking on it barefoot. They did put me in another room which was better but the whole place is run down and needs desperate attention. Staff wasn’t bad. No free breakfast the next morning.

Expedia should be ashamed for booking this hotel. There was water damage on the bathroom wall and ceiling. You could see where someone peeled the paint off the wall and left the debris on the floor. The air conditioner was propped up with a brick, the refrigerator barely worked. the continental breakfast was a complete joke. I will definitely research anything I try to book on Expedia in the future.

I believe this was probably the worst kept room that I have ever stayed in. The chair was shredding its covering and in spite of any action being taken was ignored., the net curtain has a home in it, the towel rack was falling apart. The a/c unit was cracked. The bed was ok but I would like to send you pictures. I really belie e some form of compensation or refund should be made. If this meets Days Inn by Wyndham quality they are off my future stay list!

The First room they gave us had blood stains and other stains on the sheets. The room we were switched the sheets were clean but there was mold in the bathroom, hair on the towels, and hair covering the sink. None of the outlets worked for us to charge our phones and other devices
