Shamrock Cove Inn

This place we have visited many time it has gone DOWN.Why they have removed all the new a/c and replaced the with SMALL window ones? They have fired the best managers they had replaced with a woman who they quickly fired now a new one has started He seems find but they got to back managers with investment.

There was a bed, fairly comfortable. There was a TV. It powered on but said it was not connnected to ANYTHING and was completely unusable. There was nowhere to sit. The air conditioner was louder than most jet planes. There was NO PLACE to put toiletries. There were NO cups - even plastic for water to take pills with. The towels were soft, but wouldn't absorb anything.

Clean. Friendly. Unique … not like the chain hotels. Affordable.

I have stayed here off and on the last few years, and it has just gone downhill. Guessing maybe change of ownership? Rooms used to have personality and home touches. Now, my room was very minimal with poor lighting. My whole room had 1 lamp in one corner of the room. It was inexpensive which made it palatable. Not sure I will stay here again.

small place, offers late check in if you call ahead. towels are super soft, but bathrooms could use a bit of work (seemed like they may be remodeling at the moment though). feels cozy tho
