This is a nice room with all the amenities. The only thing was the pool was not very warm for it being an indoor pool, you still could not swim.

Everything was TOTALLY GREAT! There's a pond out back with a walkway... Great place to stroll about. WARNING! Even though the website says there's a 'hot tub' there isn't one... that was the only 'boo hoo' I had.

Overall everything was nice and clean. The receptionist upon arrival was cheerful, The only thing that made it good a good review and not excellent is the fact that the swim area was not available due to maintenance so the kids could not swim which is one reason we picked this hotel to stay.

Tub was clogged, I asked the front office lady about the issue and she said there was nothing she could do about it. Makes me think the tub was never cleaned prior, this is something housekeeping should’ve noticed if the tub was actually cleaned. Towels had hair on them as well. Not worth the price.

Easy to find from the highway. Staff was very efficient with checking in. Room was very clean. We did not like how easily we could hear everyone in the hallway and rooms. That made our experience significantly less enjoyable-especially when our family was so tired and could not have a nice quiet nights sleep.

Loved the option of a suite at a similar price point, allowed our family to spread out a bit, also the suite had a nice additional seating area so even with the pull out couch extended we could still enjoy the room. Staff was very friendly, check in was easy and quick, the breakfast was not only delicious but also the lobby/seating was very nice.

Even though 2 of the main machines at breakfast were out of order, it was still a really nice spread. The room was comfortable and despite being on the first floor at the very end by the exterior door, it was quiet.

The floors were squeaky and the doors closing are very loud. This is a problem when trying to sleep at night. The bathroom sink drains slowly. There is mold/mildew on the shower caulking. I found the bed to be comfortable but the pillows to be uncomfortable.

I booked through Expedia who charged me. The motel also charged me. I have left messages for the manager to call me back and haven’t ever received a return phone call. I have called them about 4 times trying to talk to a manager or get someone to credit my card back. The last time I called I was assured they would credit my card. I told them to please send an email confirmation - called them 3 times to say I never received it. Was informed it must be an error on their end but they didn’t bother to try to get it corrected. Did not receive the credit so I had to finally call my credit card company and dispute the charge. It has been so many phone calls to the motel and so much time trying to get them to credit me back. Such poor customer service. Will not be back to this motel.

We were hoping to stay at a place close to I-40, and this Holiday Inn Express was a bit removed from that, but a nice place overall. Non fast-food restaurants nearby were pretty limited, but they had a very nice pond and walking loop right behind the hotel that was refreshing after so many hours of driving. We only stayed one night and it was a comfortable hotel, so all good.
