Great location with good proximity to all of the base services at Taos. The sauna was broken throughout our stay and the rooms and common areas are a wee bit dated.

1980’s rooms, if your not comfortable climbing a steep ladder skip the loft bedroom. Ski locker out in hallway nice touch and just a short walk to the lift line.hot tub was nice but not hot

it’s really such a great hotel and everyone is great but the lack of a working hot tub was terribly disappointing and would have found other lodging had i known. I like it over the Blake for many reason. but really piss about the hot tub not being available after sking

Great, early season option. We usually stay at the Edelweiss but they've increased their stay to a 3 night minimum. The only downside to Alpine Village was that the hot tub and spa services were out due to technical issues. Im sure they'll correct this as the season picks up.

Great room with deck and BBQ gas grill. Has upper loft with 2ctwin beds. Fully equiped kitchen grwatcwalj in shower..Hallways hav me Bear themed paintings. Excellent lidging abdvim anxious abd excited to return. Pets alluwed

Our stay here was wonderful! The staff were welcoming, the location was beautiful and the room was clean and spacious. We booked a studio suite but got put in the king suite due to maintenance and it was so nice with a balcony and separate bedroom. Will definitely stay here again

The room needs a very thurough cleaning. Couldn't shower at 6am, the shower ran for 10 minutes before i gave up. The water never even got warm.

Stayed here while hiking Wheeler Peak in July. Very nice desk clerk checked me in. Lovely, quiet, clean little suite. Not very much is open in the area on a weekday in the summer, but Taos is only half an hour’s drive. Would definitely stay here again.

I am typically not someone to write a review but I felt I needed to let others know about our stay.From the minute I entered the residence it was not welcoming. The hotel itself gave us such a bad vibe we were ready to leave and would have if there was somewhere we could go. We told ourselves we were just tired and needed to eat. After we ate we came back to shower and go to bed. However we found hair, dirt, and dirty towels.On top of this our room was very hot. The thermostat read 80 degrees and the fans didn’t help. The one thing we liked was the beds up top but even then it was too hot to sleep up there. At this point there was no one to talk to about our issues so we just had to go to bed. We were very excited for this mini trip but our stay left us disappointed and we will not be returning.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Alpine Village is a quaint little place, nestled on the trees. I loved listening to the stream gurgle below our balcony! I would definitely recommend it!

We stayed above the Cottmans Ski Shop. It was comforting and inviting when we came into our room. We had a wonderful view. We opened the window to hear the creek rushing outside and see all the beautiful trees and have a wonderful breeze throughout the night. They actually had dishware and a stove which was amazing. We spent time at the local diners around our lodge.

Although the room had some minor issues, the staff was wonderful in reaching out to help us resolve them quickly. Room 18 definitely had THE BEST balcony. If you book a loft, please keep in mind it's a steep climb to the bedroom... sure for my workout!

The studio suite was fine the first two nights. Not the most comfortable but for the price not too bad. The people working were really great and helpful.The last night some other people came and stayed next door. Real thin walls and almost like they were in the same room. I wish I had done more research. Was still off-season and very few things were open. Was super inconvenient. We enjoyed it still but next time I'm the area I doubt we stay out at Taod Ski Valley.

The place was clean and relaxing. The young man at the front desk , Dave, was extremely kind and helpful. We were to arrive at 7pm due to circumstances with travel we could not be there until past 9pm. Dave was on the phone with me several times to reassure me not to worry that he would wait for me, past he working shift, to give me my room keys and show me to my suite. He even helped carry myluggage!!!! Thank you for the amazing staff and the great accommidations!!

Excellent location! You are right there in the center of the village, walking everywhere. The staff try to go the extra mile to help and please you, the best they can. My only recommendation would be to consider a Refresh to the room and building. When we get back to Taos ski valley again, we're sure to consider them again. A big thank you to the awesome team!

I can't say enough good things about Alpine Village Suites. We had an awesome experience staying there. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. This is our children's first experience at a ski resort, and they absolutely loved it! We are already planning to go back! Great place, great staff, amazing experience. Highly recommended.

We love staying at this hotel the staff is always very friendly and very helpful. This time it was for work however we were still able to enjoy the large patio barbecue grill and huge hot tub with a outdoor fireplace. Perfect setting, perfect location. Room was fully equipped to be able to cook while many restaurants were closed in the evenings. Will continue to book here on business stays!!

We stayed above the Cottmans Ski Shop. It was comforting and inviting when we came into our room. We had a wonderful view. This place is AMAZING!! We absolutely LOVED IT!! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Everything is close by, very convenient. The tavern even stayed open an hour later than their usual closing time because we were there talking to folks.

This is an older wooden building that has been somewhat upgraded. Nothing like the pictures! The bedroom was accessible up a 10 foot ladder. The front desk clerk warned us and offered a 2 bedroom for an additional $20. Even with the upgrade, it was nothing like the beautiful pictures on hotel.com. This is a ski lodge village 30 minutes up a steep rough road from Taos. In summer, it is 80% closed so not much to eat or see except their one open lift which was beautiful!
