Maison Blanche Taormina

It’s a lovely place, really beautiful house. Breakfast is ok, not as good as a hotel you would pay the same price for. Furthermore breakfast is not relaxing, we felt rushed and hurried both mornings, all we wanted was peace and quiet, exactly why we booked this kind of place and not a hotel. Upon 2nd day checkout were charged 16 euros for water bottles that were left out without any notification of possible charge in the room. It’s normal to have a water bottle provided every day in a more expensive accommodation, I would never expect to be charged on top!! Very small and insignificant, but it changes the atmosphere/ picture completely. Then you remember that upon arrival the landlady tried to sell you another room for 120 more or later selling some handbags at breakfast, it feels a bit cheap and gaming. Other things: ABBA being constantly played, I am glad we didn’t stay more than 2 nights, it already started to feel crazy Speakers in room randomly turned on with hosts music playing, I had contact and to ask how to deal with it and wait!! No apology! It’s a beautiful house, but the service/treatment is not good enough. We felt only ok But then you We had way better service for half and a third of the price the week we spent in Sicily.

An exceptional view, kind hosts, and wonderful breakfast. It is a short hike uphill to town which we didn’t mind. At night the walk was dark, the flashlight on our phones helped. Look forward to returning.

Fabulous property with very friendly and informative hosts. Our room was very comfortable and had a fantastic 180 degree view. Be prepared to hike up the hill, or take a bus to the main parts of Taormina.

Maison Blanche was wonderful! The hostess went out of her way to be helpful and the view is unbeatable at this price. You even have your own balcony. It is a hike to town, like a steep 15 minute approach. To town
