Gym was very good. I was not advised or aware that there was complimentary shuttle service, even though I advised that I was flying in to Richmond airport prior to check in on the phone. I Could have saved big time on two uber trips to and from the airport on the courtesy shuttle. Staff was friendly and extended late complimentary checkout

The gym was well maintained. The staff were courteous and awesome. The location is ideal if you wish to walk around downtown Richmond, unless you are adverse to walking uphill. My only issue with the hotel is the Wifi. I tried to connect in my room and could not connect at all.

Clean updated hotel near restaurants and walking distance to several attractions and the convention center in Richmond. Checkin was very nice and staff stored bags for us since we arrived in early afternoon. No parking on-site but there is several paid and one free garage nearby. Doesnt include breakfast - if you buy cooked breakfast, it’s about 30 minute wait as there’s only 1 staff member. Our food was good though we did have an issue with spoiled salsa that we notified staff of. One thing to improve property: please put out coffee in the morning. The bistro serves Starbucks but only starting at 7:30 and quite honestly I’d rather have drip coffee. There was a water dispenser in lobby but it was drained and not refilled even after I notified the staff.

Everything was great! Just be forewarned if you own a large truck there will be no garage parking available and if you’re lucky you can park on the cobble stone street out front for your stay. Other than that it’s a rough parking lot option and if your truck is loaded with valuables good luck sleeping at night.

Pee stain in bed skirt. We were on 2nd floor and WiFi kept disconnecting, was told there were 2 different servers but neither would work. Breakfast was a joke. It was just very overpriced sandwiches that were provided by Starbucks.

A clean and modern property with a nice lobby, a great location on a charming street, and an all around great place to rest after days out and about. The room was a little small for 4 as the sofa bed was really only big enough to sleep one which meant that you would have to fit 4 on the king bed. Not ideal unless you have small kids who like snuggling with each other.

Front desk staff upon check in was not welcoming. Little to no information was given to us about the property unlike other Courtyard Marriotts we have visited. This was our first time in Richmond and we did not know anything about the City. The front desk did not offer a map or package about the City which would have been extremely helpful. Other Courtyard Marriots had this service. WiFi was terrible. Room was large and very clean. The valets were professional. Would not stay here again

The staff in-person and over the phone was so personable and eager to answer questions and offer advice/help when requested (e.g. dining options, parking, check-in/check-out). The room was clean and elegant with a spacious bathroom, a very responsive thermostat, a mini fridge, a microwave, lots of access to outlets, and a good size television with a full set of channels as well as the option to use your own streaming services or attach your own devices.

Great location , and might return , ac units didn’t cool rooms down as well as other Marriott locations I have been to. However I don’t want to make something out of nothing just became difficult for myself and my wife to sleep good. For a quick overnight it did what it needed, staff was very friendly

The only good thing about this day was the valley was awesome. We didn’t realize that we were gonna have to pay extra for a parking garage. The entire time that we were there spent over $50 a day in parking and it was loud noises coming through the vents into the rooms in the early morning hours as well as a pub across the street that was so loud that we cannot sleep

The valet service was and made it very difficult to pull up to the hotel and load or unload. Our rooms were never made up after the first night. We were improperly billed on our rooms and when we called we were put on hold for ten minutes and then told the manager, Susan would call us when she arrived 45 minutes later. We received no call and it has been 24 hours. The hotel is nice and well located but the service was the worse.

While my stay here was very short I would like to say that the service by Lenin and Athena was immaculate. They were so sweet and welcoming from check in to check out. I’ll be returning to Richmond in the future and plan to stay here again and hope to see them. I also loved how clean and spacious the rooms were. The neighborhood view was nice as well and the lobby had a very welcoming feel to it.

The staff of this location are rude and very slow. There is zero sense of urgency when helping their customers. I would stand in line for very long periods of time, just simply waiting for someone to come to the place where they would normally be at such as the bar or the front desk. In many situations, there was not a person there at the front desk, or at one of the other service areas and you would have to stand there and wait as a land formed, until they finally did show up. Then, when the people didn't show up, they were dressed in sweatpants and a T-shirt or jeans and a T-shirt. There was nothing that distinguish them as someone who works there as opposed from someone off the street, it was very unprofessional.

The start was a bit rocky. Streets small and very limited space for the valet stand and the valet check in was a bit slow. But the guys were amazing. Check in was a bit slow and there were only 5 people in front of us. However the desk staff was very nice. Rooms were nice and clean my only complaint was it was a bit warm in the room at check in even when the ac was set to 65 and would go no lower. Overall our experience was very good.

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was subpar. Looked like an airplane meal just popped out of a microwave. Parking was very expensive. Lack of an employee at the desk to direct out of town guests to sights in the area or restaurants. Rooms not cleaned daily. Area around the hotel was questionable.

While not the best Courtyard Marriott I’ve stayed at from the perspective of amenities or room quality, although they’re certainly acceptable, the hotel staff was incredible. Great location in the downtown. A little more street life around here in the evenings than some of the other areas of downtown Richmond.

The location is great. It's not too far to get to anywhere in the city. The cobblestone streets are great. There is plenty to do within walking distance of the Hotel. The rooms are great. The look and feel of the Hotel is very bougie. Overall, it was a great place to stay for the weekend away with my wife. Breakfast at the hotel's Bistro was delicious.
