What a charming place. The breakfast was wonderful (spectacular one feast day!), the dinner menu exceptional and we already think of the lovely staff as old friends. Would definitely stay there again. (And again!) Great choice for visiting the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. We are older but families with kids loved it too! (They have swings! And sheep!)

Csodálatosan finom ételeket kaptunk, mind reggelire, mind vacsorára. Az alkalmazottak, köztük az étterem dolgozói is, maximálisan teljesítették a kéréseinket. A parkolás nem probléma, sok hely van az épület előtt/mellett, mivel a terület a város szélén található, olajfák társaságában. Pihenésre, napozásra szép teraszok vannak kiképezve.
Csodálatosan finom ételeket kaptunk, mind reggelire, mind vacsorára. Az alkalmazottak, köztük az étterem dolgozói is, maximálisan teljesítették a kéréseinket. A parkolás nem probléma, sok hely van az épület előtt/mellett, mivel a terület a város szélén található, olajfák társaságában. Pihenésre, napozásra szép teraszok vannak kiképezve.

Mi è sembrato di dormire in un tubo come quelli che si trovano negli aeroporti (le capsule da dormire). Hanno bisogno di pulire meglio il bagno, soprattutto il water (l ho trovato letteralmente sporco)!! Per di più la finestra con la zanzariera rotta. Il lato positivo è accoglienza del personale alla reception ma soprattutto alla sala colazione. Hanno una bella varietà di dolce e salato per la colazione, pure le torte fatte in casa. Parcheggio è un valore aggiuntivo.

We loved our stay at Passo dei Briganti! It's about 8 minutes by car from the Valley of the Temples, and about 15 minutes to San Leone beach. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and had a nice assortment of savory items and pastries, but the real star is dinner. We ordered two amazing fish dishes, plus roasted vegetables from their garden and a salad of red and green tomatoes, and then when we saw a pesto white pizza among their pizza offerings, we had to get one of those, too. We couldn't finish it, so our waiter boxed it up for us and we ate it for lunch the next day on our way to Siracusa. The meal with a bottle of Sicilian chardonnay, a bottle of sparkling water and a pistachio tartuffo for dessert was 78 euros. Our room was spacious and clean, but the bed was a little on the firm side. It was a "queen" that was actually 2 narrow twins pushed together, and each side creaked differently under our weight. Despite this, I would come back here in a heartbeat and stay at least 2 nights to get more beach time, and a chance to see more of the town of Agrigento.

I wanted to try an Agriturismo. Basically it is a functional farm that offers accommodations. Fellow visitors were numerous and friendly. Staff seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Food in the restaurant was excellent although our order was incorrect. Price was reasonable, property was clean. Rooms were large and comfortable.

Disappointed in overall experience. I was expecting something a little rural as an agriturismo however this is near town (300m away) and near a highway bridge. The air conditioning in the unit did not work well and with temps around 35C it was very uncomfortable until late in the evening with open windows. The restaurant was similarly disappointing. Grilled vegetables had no seasoning, my fish cous cous dish was barely warmed and my wife's grilled fish was also lacking any spice. Overall would not recommend this agriturismo.

This is in a somewhat isolated location. You drive under the graffitied supports of the autostrada and the views from the property are of the autostrada. Our room was on the interior of the property so we heard the dinner crowd late into the night. Staff was amazing and so helpful!

Die Unterkunft liegt am Rande von Agrigent, unweit diverser Schnellstraßen, die allesamt von schrecklichen Müllhalden gesäumt sind. Es ist also alles andere als idyllisch dort, auch wenn die Anlage selbst sauber ist. Das Zimmer war klein und sauber mit Fenster zum Innenhof, in dem Restaurantbetrieb herrscht Betrieb bis spät. Das Restaurant selbst war aber eine Entdeckung! Hervorragende sizilianische Küche und aufmerksames Personal. Eignet sich für einen Zwischenstopp, wenn man gut essen will. Würde Agrigent mal seinen Müll beseitigen, gäbe es es einen vierten Stern.

This is in a somewhat isolated location. You drive under the graffitied supports of the autostrada and the views from the property are of the autostrada. Our room was on the interior of the property so we heard the dinner crowd late into the night. Staff was amazing and so helpful!

I wanted to try an Agriturismo. Basically it is a functional farm that offers accommodations. Fellow visitors were numerous and friendly. Staff seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Food in the restaurant was excellent although our order was incorrect. Price was reasonable, property was clean. Rooms were large and comfortable.

We loved our stay at Passo dei Briganti! It's about 8 minutes by car from the Valley of the Temples, and about 15 minutes to San Leone beach. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and had a nice assortment of savory items and pastries, but the real star is dinner. We ordered two amazing fish dishes, plus roasted vegetables from their garden and a salad of red and green tomatoes, and then when we saw a pesto white pizza among their pizza offerings, we had to get one of those, too. We couldn't finish it, so our waiter boxed it up for us and we ate it for lunch the next day on our way to Siracusa. The meal with a bottle of Sicilian chardonnay, a bottle of sparkling water and a pistachio tartuffo for dessert was 78 euros. Our room was spacious and clean, but the bed was a little on the firm side. It was a "queen" that was actually 2 narrow twins pushed together, and each side creaked differently under our weight. Despite this, I would come back here in a heartbeat and stay at least 2 nights to get more beach time, and a chance to see more of the town of Agrigento.

Die Unterkunft liegt am Rande von Agrigent, unweit diverser Schnellstraßen, die allesamt von schrecklichen Müllhalden gesäumt sind. Es ist also alles andere als idyllisch dort, auch wenn die Anlage selbst sauber ist. Das Zimmer war klein und sauber mit Fenster zum Innenhof, in dem Restaurantbetrieb herrscht Betrieb bis spät. Das Restaurant selbst war aber eine Entdeckung! Hervorragende sizilianische Küche und aufmerksames Personal. Eignet sich für einen Zwischenstopp, wenn man gut essen will. Würde Agrigent mal seinen Müll beseitigen, gäbe es es einen vierten Stern.

L'agriturismo e' molto bello e una nota speciale va al ristorante, che e' ottimo e con una ampia scelta di pietanze. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Le uniche osservazioni vanno al nostro alloggio composto di due stanze, ma una senza riscaldamento, e la colazione, che a diffferenza della qualita' del ristorante, e' composta principalmente da prodotti preconfezionati.
L'agriturismo e' molto bello e una nota speciale va al ristorante, che e' ottimo e con una ampia scelta di pietanze. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. We spent 6 nights here and ate in the excellent restaurant every evening. Most evenings a family or party were celebrating an event in the restaurant so clearly it’s a bit of a local destination. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities clean and well maintained. We very much enjoyed our stay.
